For all one knows, Mysaria opened with that tactic precisely to make others underestimate her.

I suppose leaving now could be considered a safe option, if rather dull. What was the point of honing intrigue if Viserys is not actually going to use that skill to partake in the dance of intrigue?

Is it not intrigue when you spot a trap and manoeuvre out of it?

Is it not also intrigue to leave everyone guessing why Valarr left so early, and after speaking to the Rogares?

Or, maybe, leaving now before potentially a Squad of Assassins busts open the Doors and tries to kill us/someone slips us something in the Drink to poison or kidnap us is the smartest Thing to do here? And anticipating such a Trap actually shows how good at Intrigue we are?
Just saying.

[X]To Dance: You see that there are many women among the party who are not dancing, instead… they are eyeing you like a piece of meat. Well, might as well try to assuage the doubters, by trying to dance. Perhaps you may see her dance, as well as interact with others.

Why do I have a sense that things might start kicking off the way I predicted ever since we first heard of the eggs, during this very party?
Can you explain what sort of danger you think we face? No one knows we have the eggs, the party is guarded, we can defend ourself, and our group has three expert fighters in it besides us. While the Rogares clearly have a grudge, the fact we have the option to outright sleep with their mastermind makes me pretty sure nothing is going to happen, to say nothing of the fact that they'd be starting a war they couldn't possibly win of they did do something. Viserys having a bad feeling does not directly translate to mortal peril, as opposed to simply being something unpleasant. Moreover, "bad" things can happen without us being threatened or harmed by them at all.

[X]Socialize with the Merchants: Every Merchant in the city wants to shake your hand. You won't disappoint them. Hopefully, the lady will understand that you have business to attend.

You'd be surprised how many people have been killed with their pants down...

What trap? We haven't actually spotted anything. We don't know what's going to happen. For all we know this could purely be some political development, or a key character might be making their appearance. Equally, this could be a trap for someone else - a Lyseni noble getting duelled by a rival, perhaps. As it stands, no one knows we're Viserys Targaryen, and we haven't actually made any enemies besides one insignificant person who we insulted. If there is a trap as you say, what makes you think it's targeting us?

I am unsure about whether to leave now. I would note that Viserys cannot simply walk away in this manner every time it seems dangerous. The dance of intrigue, by its very nature, is always dangerous. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
That isn't the main worry, the city turning into mechanicsburg 2.0, with us in the middle of it is.

No one knows we have the eggs, the party is guarded, we can defend ourself, and our group has three expert fighters in it besides us.
While true, there is how we found out about them in the first place, and the fact it was in the city to begin with. The fact we have it does not change the fact an unlnown amount of people defenitly know it is here. We only misled 1 group as well.

And again, why? Why would she want to kill us? What would she stand to gain from it? I'm afraid that laughing and making a quip isn't the same thing as putting forth an actual argument.
I never said that she would try to kill us though...

Edit: Try. Forgot to add try
P.S: And my post isn't and wasn't supposed to be an argument, just a reaction that I couldn't help but post.

[X]Mysaria's Adventures: You knew she was trying to fuck you the moment you saw her. And to be honest, you wanted to as well. What harm could be done? Perhaps a little Dornish red could go with?

Eh. Just so *someone* votes for the teenage hormones.

You said the following:

You'd be surprised how many people have been killed with their pants down...
That pretty clearly implies she does IMO, since I was making the point that she clearly wasn't planning to do anything if we could sleep with her.

Even if I charitably interpet it as you meaning that someone else would take the opportunity to kill us, you still haven't said who they might be, or suggested a motive. Again, no one knows we're Viserys or that we have dragon eggs, we haven't offended anyone, and there's nothing anyone could gain from killing us. The only people who actually want to find and kill us, and who have actual reasons to, are Robert and Varys, and perhaps Tywin. So, again I ask you, who exactly wants to kill us and why?

The trap I'm talking about is the seduction trap.

... Whatever happens, you're going to profit from it.

So, at this moment... you're just choosing what you all want as a reward.

Want a Sexy (attractive, strong, potentially genius or quick) waifu? Sure

Want to Control the Merchant council of Lys? Totally there.

Gain shitloads of money? Why not.

Avoid bullshit and city politics to just go back to adventuring and traveling while the entire city goes to hell and a handbasket? Absolutely. :V

Hm, well, it was said that, considering the ladies who wish to bed Viserys, it would be prudent to begin courting the ones who can offer connections and other such benefits to Viserys, along with the benefits of having a reputation of being reliable with the ladies.

I suppose dancing with the ladies at the ball would be the option, then.

I would like to get to know Mysaria better, albeit not via an immediate romp in the hay. Perhaps Viserys might see Mysaria dancing and interacting with others, perhaps share a dance with her. A slower courtship, one might say.
