The War of Targaryen Restoration Part 3: The Closing Net
Storm's End:
1D100 => 94+40(Stannis Plan)+30(Jon Con Skill)+10 (Dornish Reinforcements)=174 vs
1D100 => 9+30 (Defensive Advantage) -20(Chaos and Treachery within the Ranks) -5 (Renly's Command Skill)-25 (Stannis' Plan)=(-)11
Renly Survival Roll:
1D100 => 5
Renly did not survive.
"Dear King Viserys
I must inform you of the capture of Storms End, and that, after several months of siege, and Dornish reinforcements, the garrison surrendered the castle to us, as their morale shattered, with the Reinforcements arrived.
We regret to inform you that Renly Baratheon is dead, having starved to death in the siege.
We will continue to march north, towards King's Landing.
Jon Connington."
The News upset you…
But you worried it might greatly affect Stannis.
Reward: The Stormlands have fallen to you, and are being secured by allies. Jon Connington, the Golden Company, and The Dornish are marching North.
Stannis will be affected by the news. But whether it motivates him or destroys him is yet to be known.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You arrived to the Riverlords camp to the sound of song. But that did not mean it was unguarded or undefended.
The patrols had been following you toward the main camp,as you heard a song.
"The Floopy Trout breaks the bridge,
With rocks and water and a colored whig"
The song itself was more of a drunken rivalry, a tune that was less a bardica tale, and more a soldier's song.
You found Lord Edmure, drinking in a tent, happy, looking over a map, but also concern on his face.
"Lord Arryn has moved past Saltpans, and has reached the Crownlands. He means to get to Baratheon and move south to the Stormlands." A lord stated. It was lord Blackwood, a man who looked… well, more like a northman, than a southerner, possibly from being a old gods worshiper.
"That may be, but we also know Baratheon wants Viserys dead, he will march to face in battle." A Whent knight stated.
You remained quiet.
You would not take part in this war meeting.
You however gave a nod, wanting only to listen.
The war meeting however, did not last long, as many men wanted to return to their tents. To rest before battle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robert Baratheon is marching towards you… to do battle.
It is inevitable at this point. He wants to kill you.
But what do you do before this battle?:
(Choose 2)
[]Speak to Lord Edmure: You wish to speak to the… Floppy Trout… and his Tully Rock of Doom.
[]To the Knights, Squires: You want to gather a bodyguard for the coming battle… not a kingsguard, but more of a practical defender to keep you alive.
[]Write a letter to your Allies: You wish to write a letter… a will, just in case something happens to you.
[]A Dragon: Ebrion… is special to you. And you would rather make sure he understands that you will need his help.
[]Of Dragons Long Passed: "Rhaegar?... Why are you here?" You asked, feeling the fog chill your skin.
Where does the battle take place:
[]The Trident: History Repeats itself… a Dragon and a Stag battling in the River.
[]At the Gods Eye: Robert has blooked the path to the south… You must cross the great lake, if you wish to get to king's landing.
[]He was not there: Robert did not give battle… but the destruction he left in his wake was anything but peaceful.
AN: Enjoy and Plan format.
