[X] Plan: Saint Crispin's Day
- [X] To the Knights, Squires: You want to gather a bodyguard for the coming battle… not a kingsguard, but more of a practical defender to keep you alive.
- [X] Write a letter to your Allies: You wish to write a letter… a will, just in case something happens to you.
- [X] The Trident: History Repeats itself… a Dragon and a Stag battling in the River.

Viserys's life is an epic story even in-universe. Let's give him a chance to make a rousing pre-battle speech that can be truncated and misquoted for centuries to come.

Well, at least the Northmen will be fighting with him, and he's got a Dragon, but we're also facing the Legendary Skills of Bobby B (Currently.)

So this is going to be a fight.

[X] Plan: Saint Crispin's Day

The time has come...may the Dragon once more rise in Glory and Triumph over the Seven Kingdoms!

Also, @Magoose, I fuckin' LOVE the Fact that you brought the Tully Rock of Doom into this Quest.

Yes.

The Iron Born have... Bogged them down, and I'll leave it at that.
Nice... Never thought that the friggin' Ironborn would make good Allies, but I guess with all the Idiots and Madmen out of the way and under the Leadership of someone like the Reader, they can actually be quite reliable.

Also, how big are the Forces that are about to meet? How many Troops have we and how many has Robert?

Okay, first Idea for the upcoming Battle:
If I remember correctly, one HUGE Mistake the Loyalists made in the first Battle was to try and cross the Trident and attack the Enemy head-on, which allowed the Rebels to charge in and intercept them in the Stream while they were not quite in Formation. If possible, let's bait Bobby into making the same Mistake.

[X] Dragons, Dragons and Moar Dragons

I'm sort of disappointed we can't get more time. If nothing else, I had hoped Ned would tell us the truth about Lyanna, so we could throw it in Robert's face. Angry people are often stupid people, and driving him into mental-breakdown rage could make him less of a threat overall in combat

If we can even tire out his troops and maybe tarnish morale, as long as we don't lose horribly, we might be able to get together enough to knock his teeth in for good. Probably. As is, the Dornish and other forces on the southern flank are pretty much knocking on the doors of King's Landing (assuming King's Landing has doors that aren't melting right now) so, regardless of what Robert is thinking, a lot of people under him have to have divided attention. Fighting on the other side of creation from your loved ones while they are in danger does things to a pikeman conscript.

Morale is absurdly huge in pre-modern combat. It decides more battles than cut arteries.

The reason I didn't give more time, is because, to be honest, I just want the war to get done in a manner that I consider satisfying.

And that I want to reach the end of this story, because i want to have a break from Viserys misadventures, to do something I've been wanting to do for a few months.

You're a hero to the lot of us. I dream of starting a game at some point, I have a few notes and an embarrassing number of half formed ideas, I want it, I even ran various play-by-post back in the day. I'm not usenet levels of old but I was still doing things in the first few years of this millennium. But I lack what some people have where they can sit down and just let the words come forth, blasting out updates on demand.

You do damn good work. Its sad to see this one wrapping up, or at least going into long term hiatus, but I can count on the next wrapping me up the same way.

Well, I wish you luck with that... mostly because I have nothing else to offer.

Well thank you.
