[Exalted, ?] Most High

I am mostly feeling this is alternative character interpretation, but okay. I'll keep this in mind.
To a certain extent it may be. It's hard to say, as we have never had a Moon PoV. Moon is certainly very hard working and determined. She also loves Ulyssian and trusts him utterly. That said, I refuse to believe selfishness was not an important factor in quelling her doubts; that personal interest did not ease the adoption of a cold utilitarian calculus despite her otherwise gentle nature.

But really, the important issue is what she does going forward. If she never second guesses Ulyssian or challenges him or his assumptions I would have to consider this entire endeavor a waste. The entire point was to make her his equal in both combat and strategy. If we merely wanted a powerful second then Lunar/Sidereal power would have been more than enough.

Exaltation often changes people, bringing out certain qualities at the expense of others. What Moon will be going through isn't exactly a second Exaltation, but it's functionally pretty close. If nothing else, she won't forget the horrific price that bought her power.

So, Lily left us. A pity, but to be expected considering our chosen path. I'm just glad she didn't decide to become our enemy here and there. Still, even if she will no longer directly work with us, she will likely remain a force of good in Creation, so the loss is not bad as it could have been if we would have had to slay her.

On our next course of action, while Pax Odyssial is tempting, I won't vote for it unless we see some kind of epic write-in. There is just too much here that could go wrong considering our current opposition. While it will probably be much harder later on when the things won't be in so much flux, we can try to enforce it from a safer position. After all, Ulyssian has to be alive to implement the Lathe of Heaven. So with that in mind, going for the Fortress Luseng might be the best idea. And as it will concentrate more power in our hands, future actions will be easier to succesfully execute.

That, and I also really want to make the Shining Metropolis -plan bring fruit just because of its inherent awesomeness.

[X] Pax Odyssial - Truly the most ambitious of the potential projects in scale, you will attempt to fully unite the defenders of Creation against an external threat. That means adjusting ten thousand histories of hostile interaction across all Thirteen Great Houses and seven hundred Lunar or Lunar-allied dominions; the mass disincentivization of inter-Exalt war, and the casting aside both of ancient grudges and religious ideology to stand together against ecological devastation on a titanic scale. Of course, you cannot force Exalted action, only penalize certain routes and reward others. The peaceful will prosper and the pragmatic will seek (at least temporary) peace, but fanatics and warmongers both are fully capable of powering through your interdict, severe as it would be against a mortal army.

Ave Imperator Ulysses! Ave!

I find all of the options pretty attractive in their own ways. I currently am favoring this one, largely because it's the best if we succeed. If we don't succeed at least the failure conditions are more interesting than Open The Path. Everyone may hate us, but we can run and hide. Both Nilul and Moon will have considerable subterfuge capabilities. Or we can seek out Lealope and be monsters together.

The thing is, we already have a win condition in play with the Lathe of Heaven.

We need to turtle down and get that finished. Why do people want to start out on a new mega project/win condition with huge risk right now just because of the shinies..

LILY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Dammit why didn't we remember to do write-ins to try and convince her? Oh well there goes our friend/girlbro and the person who could help stop us if we go too far in Limit Break, I just hope we can somehow repair this after a while plus we didn't get to see more Moon/Lily/Nilul interactions (like Moon and Lily teaming up as HEROES OF JUSTICE)

Hm. Seems Open the Path is the only option in danger of being eliminated, at present. Other than that it's hard to tell which of Pax Odyssial and Fortress Luseng are ahead this early on!

You guys can also write in a plan with an increased effectiveness bonus, if you don't like the risk of existing options but prefer not to focus on Luseng again.

Venturing into such a momentum decision without due consideration is fairly risky. Do you guys have a plan to mitigate the consequences of the Pax, should it succeed - or succeed too well?

[X] Open The Path

This has always been the mission. Win the Sword of Creation, win the game. Now is not the time to have second thoughts or pollute or optimized strategy with sub-optimal goals. Or strength is not in diplomacy. Or strength is in grinding others under our boots and taking what we want.

did you not see the huge warning about how its quite likely that we would DIE attempting it?

@Rihaku
How are you planning on handling Moon's powers and advancement? Will we at least get a rough overview of what she can do?

Is she going to advance at a fixed rate, or will competition with Ulyssian spur her on? How will her training charms work, anyway?

Are some of her Dragon-Blooded charms going to be converted, or will she have to learn everything new from scratch?
