To a certain extent it may be. It's hard to say, as we have never had a Moon PoV. Moon is certainly very hard working and determined. She also loves Ulyssian and trusts him utterly. That said, I refuse to believe selfishness was not an important factor in quelling her doubts; that personal interest did not ease the adoption of a cold utilitarian calculus despite her otherwise gentle nature.I am mostly feeling this is alternative character interpretation, but okay. I'll keep this in mind.
But really, the important issue is what she does going forward. If she never second guesses Ulyssian or challenges him or his assumptions I would have to consider this entire endeavor a waste. The entire point was to make her his equal in both combat and strategy. If we merely wanted a powerful second then Lunar/Sidereal power would have been more than enough.
Exaltation often changes people, bringing out certain qualities at the expense of others. What Moon will be going through isn't exactly a second Exaltation, but it's functionally pretty close. If nothing else, she won't forget the horrific price that bought her power.
