Can Green Sun Princes escape yozi influence? I seem to remember our Urge was done with a fairly light hand, but we never really straight up turned them down, either...

Actually, you know what, I'm going to side with Cavalier and hope it's worthwhile. Let's get some use out of that Strategos title! It'll also hopefully serve as something resembling a penance for killing Polemgaos

Improves Zao's survival chance, improves the growth rate of your classmates. Few large-scale immediate effects.

[X] Medical Balm - Pearl was wounded last week on a mission, and her injury has not improved. The wound festers with a vile blackness that resembles the power of the Deathlords. Zao believes she can be treated with a rare herb from the North-Eastern Threshold, the same region where she was wounded. Given that Ivory was hurt, though, this is not a task he can entrust to just anyone. Someone martially capable, an adept infiltrator and master of disguise, might be able to get in and out... [+1 additional Stress]

[X] Studying With Moon - You need only take this once to graduate with excellent scores, though Moon herself won't be able to graduate until two months from now. She'll do her best to conceal her jealousy!

If Nilul genuinely makes herself scarce, Loom-Snarling Deception + Eldritch Secrets Mastery and a Social focus would make her quite hard to find. Swearing she won't be at the Academy is just a way of making sure the Yozis don't waste their time assaulting Seacrown if/when the Infernal duo break the Oath. I mean they still could anyway, but they'll know ahead of time that their Princess is in another castle.

And may be a Prince, because lol of course Infernals do the Lunar thing cheaper than Lunars.

What does "Each option below adds 1 Stress" mean then? I thought it was:

One Free action: Arch-Predictionist
+1 Stress from Naval description
+1 Stress from Academy description
+1 Stress for another action: Medicinal Balm
+1 Stress from Medicinal Balm description
+1 Stress for another action: Studying with Moon

for a total of 5.

It's actually pretty easy, just most don't want to. You get the equivalent of like Resources 4 in Hell, plus all the demonic hookers and demonic blow you want!
 
Actually, come to think of it, how much XP will we need to get that Awesome Conditioning Title? Dumping Stress while reducing the amount we gain here by one would be a great gain.

No, Arch-Predictionist isn't "chosen" until you get one of its sub-choices, so it doesn't count as an action in itself at all.

So, the Infernals are aware of Nilul, but not of the true nature of Ulyssian? I think that Better Listener has at this point already paid back its own cost.

One point against assassination for those thinking of picking it: We just were under a short investigation about killing someone quite important. Another contestant and her second being killed nearly immediately afterwards would be extremely suspicious. Better at least try the option that hopefully grabs them first, which just became even more important as we didn't pick Sorcery.

I also agree with Cavalier that we should use PoSC now that we chose that option. Predictionism on Solar -scale is just too damn useful even with the risk of a Limit Break hanging over. Besides, I want to Zao to finally see his effort spent on us bear fruit. I mean, do you not want to see Zao with his mask down for a small moment, as he starts to feel actual hope?

Yeah I have seen those posts so the Exigents book will be all the homebrew guides but it will have more evocations at least to give more benchmarks for homebrew.

We chose not to press for war, so I feel House Sesus's option is less urgent. Naval option is pretty great, though; Uly singlehandedly begins to reverse the Realm's military situation, through Zao. I very much want to take Arch-Predictionist - the themes of reawakening the Lord Strategos and heading directly to Limit Break simultaneously is pretty potent. That brings us up to 8 Stress, which probably would Limit Break us in short order, but needs must...

Still, Academy predictions and Studying with Moon are COMPLETELY unnecessary Stress sinks. Limit Break is like, suddenly Uly drops to 0 Compassion and goes full First Age Solar on everybody right? That is going to drive everybody right the fuck away.

162,750 Normal XP. You guys typically don't gain more than 150,000 XP per day, even with Priest, so it'll be pretty hard, since only 60% of that goes to Normal. Also, remember you have limited Charms until you hit E5 - the mere avoidance of a single Limit Break may not be worth four otherwise pretty meh Charms. Not when you still need 3 more to buy Wake the Sleeper, 1 more after that to get God-King's Shrike (if you want it), and that's just Lore stuff!

And all it took was for her to get critically injured. For shame!
 
Also, again, before discussion gets too advanced, the stunt for Negotiation/Turning the Infernals. I do not think I will be able to get a new stunt in tomorrow, but the foundation is very solid. Letting Yozis out is a terrible idea, also hey I'm Odyssial and Ayala knows what that means. If we promise to help her fix the Yozis down the road, it should have some very significant credibility. If they want to save Creation, or even better, reforge it as a better place, Odyssial can deliver. They can search their feelings and will know it to be true.

And getting their knowledge of the Reclamation and positioning them at the Academy as a nasty surprise for Anys Syn or anyone else assaulting it would further protect Zao from the death stalking him. It's got great synergy with our intent to build a power base in the Realm. Or really, anything else we intend to do, because Ayala is a freaking Strategic Asset.

And for the sake of tidying things up for the vote-counter...

This is the premiere academy where the next generation of Dragon-Blooded are trained. Rather than a waste, call it a long-term investment.

I did notice that, but I felt it was good enough to be worthy. My ambivalence towards GKS probably helps with that.

I don't know if Odyssial would be interested in releasing the Yozis, no matter how 'fixed' they might be. These are still the Primordial Titans that he fought and bled to defeat; I'm fine with negotiation, but we shouldn't make promises that we can't or won't keep.
 
On second thought, I don't know why I'm encouraging you guys not to take as much Stress as possible. +4 Stress is totally fine, you should consider getting more! It's not a 1 : 1 ratio of Stress to Limit, after all.
