[Exalted, ?] Most High

While it is true that Uly is basically in Zao's camp, there is the matter of degree. For Sesus, someone who would always follow Zao and someone who is occasionally willing to go against Zao are very different and require different treatment. By meeting them now, it would more likely place us at the second category.
This is, of course, assuming they are going to be reasonable enough that they don't expect us to place our family totally above whatever Zao wants, which I am not convinced of.
As for 3 days not being sufficient time, I disagree. Firstly, Uly himself is a very valuable piece to try and court, even discounting his connection to Zao. After all, he managed to perform at a level matching other DB without any obvious use of essence, speaking well of his ingenuity and base stats. As he has been thought to be a mortal, there are relatively few factions who have had established relationships with him, thus now would be a good time to try and court him.
Power often comes with strings, and even with our excellent first impression they are not so desperate to just throw things at us that they are going to just make it worth our while. To say that they are going to give us resources to make up for the opportunity cost of losing out on a substantial amount of XP strikes me as somewhat overconfident. They aren't exactly to go on their knees and hand us a boatload of resources trying to court us just because we made a good first impression.

Woah, when did dicks enter the situation?! I thought we were just going to fill her up with our anima, having already shown her our sword.

Cripes, not another redemption romance featuring the healing power of dick.

Let's just... not. Moon is sweet, loyal, brilliant, powerful and Nilul's friend anyway.

FIRST.AGE.SOLAR! Besides it'll be hilarious (and probably heartwarming if we get her to actually care about as more than a bodyguard/meal ticket) PLUS we get to screw over TED and Her Redness and if we wind with a Uly/Moon/Nilul ship then we could wind with ADORABLY EMBARRASSED!Moon thanks to Nilul teasing the both of us!

I must admit the idea of Adorably Embarrased!Moon, Completely Oblivious!Uly, and mocking Lilun is a good one, but we get that anyway! It's not like LIlun isn't teasing both of 'em any way.

But there'll be even MORE chances to see them besides we have yet to see poor flustered blushing Moon after getting teased about how her "appetites" are so great, just Uly isn't enough for her so "poor innocent Nilul" got dragged in or that she's adding yet another "damsel" to her "harem" or what have you :p

This update is taking a while. I'm not sure if I'll finish today. To give me an incentive to finish, there is a 2x modifier on fanwork and discussion XP until I post the next update.

Btw, you're currently at 306,400 Normal and 367,600 Solar XP, including both, you've got 674,000 Total XP.

Ah, mistake. I meant to say obliterate. I've no doubt he can kill the Ebon Dragon, I just think it won't be until E11 when we figure out how kill the Neverborn.

Hmm. I dunno if he's ever bothered trying, he probably likes that they suffer. Odyssial REALLY hated the Titans, after all. With all the fury of a creation that knows it was created to be screwed, and then gained Ultimate, Cosmic Power.

I don't know if Odyssial is going to redeem anyone. Maybe he can get redeemed. He almost destroyed Creation and nearly depopulated the entire world in his death throes, requiring the direct intervention of the Incarnae to stop. Luna still hasn't recovered all the subforms that he annihilated, and let's not even talk about what happened to the Godspear.

Okay, just for this I can't wait until Ulyssian grows enough to reclaim his memories of the Usurpation. And wow, I am left wondering how the Sidreals managed to get away with this one, since they were clearly trying to usurp the Solars, with the Incarnae actually coming out to intervene.

Most people go to extreme lengths in order to get into a good college, within the demographic most similar to Dynasts IRL. And yet even the greatest colleges do not offer even remotely the resources that a Dynastic House can mount. There certainly are configurations of wealth and power that would be worth some kowtowing for most, otherwise our modern political system wouldn't exist, must less theirs.

By that point they were just trying to save Creation. Also, if you kill the Sids too, who's going to run the damn place while you play Xbox?

But at least tell me they still received some of the blame for it after all, it is quite plain that if they did not do the usurpation then none of it would have happened.

Odyssial wasn't going to kill ALL the sids

Though the workload would definitely put Pearl and The Fairest under worse strain than the wracking

He wouldn't have killed any (well, many at all) if they hadn't tried to kill him!

You don't remember. For all you know they could have all operated under the polite fiction that Odyssial had finally flipped.

And then a few years from now, Odyssial comes back to Yu Shan and enters the Beaurau of Destiny. The amount of bricks that will be shit by all the gods will be enough to build Odyssial's Peerless City.

Sesus Ulyssian stood, and waited. He was not what he once was. Long, long ago, in a time so distant that Creation was almost unrecognizable, one of those who was closest to him had told him to Listen Better. He had done so, and applied the superlative focus and effort that he devoted to every action. He had emerged with the capacity to hear and understand a fly upon a leaf leagues away, or hear every sound in a battlefield that stretched across most of a terrestrial direction and understand the context and meaning of every single decibel. Once, his weapon, the peerless blade Ambition had scoffed at all who thought to oppose it, meeting their every expectation with unrivaled superiority. Once, his skill in combat had been beyond the understanding or reckoning of even the greatest of the Celestial Incarnae. Once, Odyssial had taken the name of Most High. Sesus Ulyssian was now much diminished from that distant height of ability, but an opportunity had presented itself to regain some small measure of the power that he had lost in the ordeal that was his reincarnation.

The essence flows that made up and interpenetrated his exaltation and his soul were in flux. This flux presented a singular chance for personal growth, and the Solar who now stood in the Imperial Navy Academy would not be Ulyssian who was Odyssial if he did not seize such a rare event and capitalize upon it. Through deep meditation he focused upon the strange and eldritch movements of his essence, with an aim to return them to some semblance of their former greatness. For this soul, and this Exaltation, had known one another in times past, for an age upon an age, and shaken all of Creation with their passing. What was mere mortal flesh in the face of such perfect unity of purpose? Once he had meditated sufficiently to grasp the current state of his soul, Ulyssian paused. What part of his ancient puissance should he use this fortunate moment to reclaim? The might of his sword? His own skill at arms? Or perhaps something else...

Tepet Nilul had told him that he had responsibilities, that the social arena was not something to neglect. Odyssial had not been any more skilled at such things than he needed to be, and his lesser strengths in that area had long been covered by Lealope, for they were each the strength to the other's weakness. There had been one aspect of Odyssial-that-was that was distinctly useful in that area, while providing a remarkable bonus in his preferred area of specialty. By learning to Listen Better Ulyssian would be able to strengthen all of his senses, though none moreso than his hearing. With this increase would come the ability to overhear, understand, and catalog everything that was said around him, including the biological reactions of those who spoke in his presence. While not a perfect means of detecting falsehoods, it was nonetheless a significant advantage. It was fitting that he would use this time to strengthen his weak-points and his strong points at once.

Does anyone know if the Unsurpassed (Sense) Disciplines have any mechanical effect on Read Intentions actions? They must provide a lot of data, but if one doesn't know how to interpret that data, it's not very reliable. Similar to a polygraph test, which are notoriously easy to fool.

Can we still vote? Aww, fuck it, here`s my vote anyway, whether you want it or not :

[X] Raw Power
[X] War-Saint's Ferocious Vigor
[X] Better Listener (Half of it)

The very idea that the almighty sensitivity of the ears of the Sun's Chosen could even be poorly duplicated by a mortal device such as a Polygraph!

Honestly though I have no idea, I just liked the concept.

+2 on Read Intentions for Unsurpassed Smell/Taste, others mostly help you in gathering information in the first place. It's mostly scenting pheremones and whatnot that tip you off here.
