Even Further Beyond [Complete]

Sage is rough because the default mask empowers our passions. Not going to be easy to train being even more spoiled than normal.

Three Visits
After re-reading the major arguments for each side, [X] Path of the Immortal has eked out a win. Sage was very close and had more omake power, but Immortal's moderately stronger argumentation and slight vote lead managed to clinch it.

You have chosen to go Further Beyond the Vault of the Ur-Pharoah and invest it with the power of a Truespell. The three-part Diagram comprised of your Heart, Sacral, and Root Runes extends and flows across to encompass your torso, a portal and keystone limned in blue light, causeway to a different realm. No false pocket dimension is this; the Truespell's spark ignites the genesis of an entire universe: a full and proper Realm of Existence, burgeoning seed of the Archmage's mind.

And what was that Realm?

[ ] Jotunheim - An bleakly pristine world of nearly unbroken wilderness, the soaring crags and impossible expanses of Jotunheim conjure an impression of stupefying scale. Deserts the size of continents, mountains that clutch the moon, marshes deeper than an oceanic rift! Around it all is the sea, fearsome and roiling, each wave a tsunami-wall, glacier-floes crackling and grinding like the teeth of some unquiet giant slumbering beneath the shore. Such things are more reality than analogy, here in the Giant's Land.

The peoples of Jotunheim are primitive and dissolute, but powerful Cultivators, for even a droplet of blood from one of the Primordial Beasts - apocalypse given tread - that wander this land suffices to elevate a rank neophyte to the equivalent of the Reality Forming stage. Even so, what civilization there is huddles and shudders in the wayward cracks of the world, buried deep by obscurity that it might weather the indifference of the Primordials - as it could never weather their wrath. Compelled into existence by the Nameless Yong, they know nothing of him or his goals. Survival is their daily struggle; the passage of a Doom-Beast's tail carves plains into valleys, turns thicket into gorge.

Treasure Productivity: Very High. Control: Minimal. Danger: Extreme. Were it not for your access to True Prodigious Might, it is unlikely you would be a match for even one Doom-Beast.
Dilation Factor: 10x

Hab 5 (6) - The race of Men call this Realm home, alongside its mythologically-inspired flora and fauna. But all live in the shadow of the Doom-Beasts, whose coming is as a turning epoch, and whose warring is the end of worlds. Hab is kept relatively low to prevent monster spawn-rate from growing out of hand.
Acc 2 - Travel once per day. Natives of Jotunheim can't survive outside it.
Realm 7 (10) - Aside from time dilation and basic parameters, this world was left unconstrained to grow save for one purpose: the creation of appropriately challenging monsters for Nameless to farm. Spawned by the enigmatic Aurora, these Doom-Beasts will grow in power and ferocity as he does. See to it that they are regularly culled lest the tender billions of this realm be trod underfoot. For some reason you have the vague feeling that the Accursed would be displeased with such an outcome, though you've no logical semblance why.
Size 5 (9) - Substantially larger than your present world.
Sec 5 (7) - For good or ill, moderately shielded against the Fates.

Acceleration Factor (assuming a vigorous work ethic and use of True Refining, all times objective):

Stage VI - Before: 17.4 Months, After: 2.4 Months
Stage VII - Before: 101.2 Months, After: 7 Months
Stage VIII - Before: 1,200 Months, After: 34 Months
Stage IX - Before: >10,000 Months, After: ?

[ ] Elysium - A city the size of a world, its endless thoroughfares all converge upon the coliseum at its heart. Within the champions of ten thousand districts battle for honor, glory, and remembrance. Remembrance of civilization's triumph over the Elder Horrors of reality, the gateway over which Elysium stands poised as sentinel and shield. All know and praise the Nameless One, who is the creator, but he is but one figure within the Endless Pantheon that stands watch over the citizenry of this titanic estate. Like a watchmaker the Nameless One set the Realm to running, but it is his cohorts and rivals, the sages, caretaker-spirits and ascended champions of the unfurling city, who keep it so.

Elysium lies suspended over the Ravening, a ceaseless abattoir to which space and reality are unrelentingly fed. Horrors from outer Realms spring forth, kept in careful check by the toil and sacrifice of the Endless Pantheon and their servants.

Treasure Productivity: Moderate, but generates Cultivation Research as well. Treasures can also be acquired by accumulating political influence. Control: Above Average. Danger: Severe.
Dilation Factor: 10x + 5x within City Center

Hab 5
Acc 2 - Populated by Men (all Twice-Great in Diagram/Cultivation), a few Elves, and some subsidiary species. Through the use of Lichdom, Artifice, and synergistic Reality Effects, certain of the citizenry can withstand the outside world. Useful lieutenants if their loyalty can be secured, but Nameless is merely their creator, not their God.
Realm 7 (10) - A highly-advanced Cultivation/Diagram based society that contains all manner of subculture within its metropolis-sized Districts - Occidental, Oriental, and stranger still. All are united agains the ceaseless scourge of the Ravening, by which the horrors of further planes are baited and butchered for raw materials. As the primary source of novel mass-energy, the harvesting of horrors is the central economic engine of their civilization, but they play a dangerous game. As the might of their creator grows, so too does the mettle of the monstrosities that emerge from the Ravening.
Size 5 (8) - Somewhat larger than Earth. Enough space remains to contain a modest empire of this world.
Sec 5 (9) - All but impervious to external influences. Nothing within can get out, either.

Acceleration Factor (assuming a vigorous work ethic, use of True Refining and most of time spent within city center, but not factoring in benefits of political activity, all times objective):

Stage VI - Before: 17.4 Months, After: 5.5 Months
Stage VII - Before: 101.2 Months, After: 14.1 Months
Stage VIII - Before: 1,200 Months, After: 68 Months
Stage IX - Before: >10,000 Months, After: ?

[ ] The Extrusion [Heterodox] - It is said that the Ego Barrier of a sufficiently Cultivated self transmutes into a gradient of filtration. Having never undergone Titanic Ascension, Nameless knows little of the process, but understands enough to know that a linked Reality - typically the Titan's Inner Realm - is critical to that process. Nameless has no internal Realm, but he is hardly lacking Realms altogether...

The path of Heterodox Immortality promises power verging on the very limits of the comprehensible, but dare you take so brazen a path? To engineer a world, an entire reality for one's literal aggrandizement, a sword forged from an entire universe - what scope of hubris, what madness is this? Through such means an Immortal aspirant may develop a Titanic Extrusion without adhering to the Titanic path, thereby seizing the best of both worlds. But at what cost?

Truespell Inversion yields a 'Vault' superimposed upon local reality. This space is then compressed and merged via the Heart Rune with Nameless' Ego Barrier, creating a proper Ego Gradient. A Titanic Emanation and Extrusion can thereby be manifested, but this custom-built Realm is not entirely subordinate to Nameless. From adversity comes strength, that is the organizing principle of the Monster Vault, and so too is it here.

Nameless will develop the Emanation and Full Extrusion that most suits his true personality, but he is not guaranteed to like it. With work and understanding, he may someday come to develop the associated Incarnation as well. The manifest soul of a Titan stitched to an Immortal's might: what wonders and horrors might he manifest here?

*Can't use the Vault for actual storage anymore
*Doesn't help Nameless Cultivate at all, still drops him to 7.0 from 7.9. Promises an even more powerful foundation, but at the cost of Cultivation speed.
*Full Extrusion and especially Incarnation are power multipliers that can cross stage boundaries. Nameless will end up stronger than he was if his Extrusion is manifest, and far stronger if he manages to evoke an Incarnation.
*For moral and logistical reasons, this engineered Realm is likely to exist as a single being rather than a full civilization.
*Assuming you can find some other way to Cultivate quickly, the power of a weaponized universe harnessed towards utility and power amplification in a horrifically efficacious union.

Emanation - A constantly active aura surrounding the Titan's body. Influences reality around him, typically in a tactically advantageous manner, though the specific effect differs by Dao. The Ego Gradient in its typical state.

Extrusion - Titanic Ascension is the stage of Dominion, whereby the lesser reality without is suppressed by the greater Reality within. A Titanic Extrusion is an expression of that Dominion. It can take the form of a weapon, technique, or even sub-being from within the Titan's Reality. It embodies something about the Titan and their Dao, a physical representation of abstract qualities, and thereby has access to powers beyond the remit of ordinary Cultivators and their Reality Effects. Destruction of an Extrusion can damage the psyche for years.

The Gradient inverted, to expel rather than draw in, negative pressure to maintain a higher being's coherence within the lesser void.

Incarnation - The supreme form of the Titanic arsenal. Turned to the purpose of violence, it is a Dao made the self, and the self made a weapon. The Great Maker becomes the Gunstar, the man becomes the Dawn Caste. "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

The Gradient becomes the Barrier again, drawn around him as armor, to hold and condense the fury of power within.

Control: Total, Danger: N/A except potentially to Cultivation base

---

How does Nameless react to this?

[ ] With Great Power... - Comes great responsibility. He created these Realms, he should see to it that the people within are taken care of to a reasonable degree. Could be time-consuming.

[ ] As It Should Be - The creation of multitudes was an inevitable step in titanic ascension. He was long prepared for this eventuality and spares minimal thought for the beings within his Vault. They can take care of themselves. Gain 1 Beyond Point for an Overlord's proper attitude. The peoples of your Vault become relatively more self-sufficient.

I didn't lose out on King to accept more grinding!

Elysium looks fucking lovely--free Cultivation Research compensates for inferior Treasure quality and quantity. Doubly so as we're breaking new ground here.

Elysium is interesting world to create school of diagram again and gain another lieutenant but Doom Beast seem interesting too.

And ofcourse Dawn Caste...just Dawn Caste...welcome back Odyssial.

Hm. I can't decide between

[ ] Elysium
[ ] With Great Power...

and

[ ] The Extrusion [Heterodox]
[ ] As It Should Be

They both are strongly tempting.

Also, I called it! I called that True Vault would make our Vault into a real world!

Yeah, we basically created a whole new universe.

But yeah, Elysium is fucking brilliant conceptually, and it's so fucking compelling an idea that it's making me a bit more pleased to go with Immortal. It's just so cool sounding, and like I said, since we're breaking new ground, Cultivation Research is going to be super important.

[X] Elysium
[X] With Great Power...

Cultivation boosts, better acceleration, a better aesthetic...and if we're going to make a world, we may as well try to do it right.

Before anyone gets too caught up in any particular choice, please keep in mind that we still have the ability to take this Even Further Beyond. Do not just think about what is, but what it could be.

Also, taking Elysium means we've (sort of) saved the elves! Or, at least, preserved the existence of a similar species of elf.

About what I talked about earlier, would it be possible to create Might and Refining Artifacts as well, Rihaku, or is dropping below 6.0 not possible?

Also, what does True Refining do?

More importantly?

Fate cannot do shit to Elysium.

It's a final holdout card. A place where we can plan, and scheme and they can't do anyhting.

That being said, how does the Accessibility work? Are we unable to invite outsiders in?

Honestly, between four-times-great (five once we hack the eyes of kong) and a fate-proof scaling cultivation multiplier and research generator, I have to ask: who would even chose a mere non-scaling (relative) X2.
Alas poor Jotunheim, we never knew thee

It's also the picture of the world as it would have been, if the Fates had let the Diagram and Cultivation merge (with some help from us, of course). It's delightfully spiteful...
Frustrating, So God #$%@ Frustrating!

Main point of defeating king was to avoid this shit, don't know if I can still play, will have to see how it plays out.
Be calm, my friend. There's still one last chance. If The Extrusion wins, we'll only be responsibly for one more life. It'd just be like picking up one more Lieutenant. Maybe not your ideal, but, hopefully still manageable?

You're pretty much out of low-hanging fruit, so a 2x multiplier is very significant. Especially since Jotunheim can get you to 8.9 base stage before Zang Kong awakens while Elysium struggles to get you much above 8.0.

I'm not going to vote on the vault, since they're all awesome, but I think the Accursed would appreciate it if we took our responsibilities seriously.
