Roughly about right.
time to take the social tutors, then mental, and the physicals that might be needed

[] Plan: to tutor a demigod (WIP)
-[] Followers (up to 7)
--[X] Hespherstari
--[] Provender
--[X] Explorator
--[] Genetor
--[] Logis
--[] Vulpaxis
--[X] Metallurgicus
--[] Dominus
--[X] Cordantor
--[X] Mhalagra
--[] Alchemys
--[] Myrmidex
--[X] Lachrimallus

so i got 6 of 7
Hespherstari strengthens the tribe with weapons and armor (it might also be sub physical for knowing how to use the weapons)
Explorator is needed to go into the wound, one of our goals
Metallurgicus synergizes with Hespherstari, and the word tools is important to creating high level tools to keep them loyal past the 1 year, 1 day limit
Cordantor is either social or mental, and seems to be generalist "Teacher" class, which can help the tribe learn from the other 6
Mhalagra is the law (basically culture and social so good for lorgar) helps the tribe say unified and the police force like discription would help with the tribe fighting
Lachrimallus is the one that gets our tribe to work better, so another leadership class for lorgar

now i'm stuck between Provender & Genetor to feed the tribe and help the planet heal/regain a greener biosphere

logis would be nice, but we kind of small so lots of processing and calculathion aren't as important right know

while Vulpaxis is a social speciation i don't see it helping us much, like we can already talk to the spirits (might be nice to protect the deceased from warp predators and demons ,but we just need to die less, so martial prowess would benefit more)

Dominus, we have the remains of the man of stone, this one is contending with the Provender & Genetor

unless the Alchemys is control of the warp, i doubt we need it in the present

Myrmidex would be nice, but we have Mhalagra, might switch between the two

so who should i select for the last follower?

Keep in mind Lorgar is a social primarch first. So his craft is only going to be secondary. He has neither the desire nor the talent the more tech primarches does.

Define "Circle Member."

Could that one keep up with Lorgar or Fan, given judicious use of Verdant Emptiness?
Circle Member is someone Heroic. Who would have gone on to achieve great and terrible things. Think of them as potential Sebastian Thor or even Olinious Pious. PeOple who would qualify for an exaltation and are paragons, exemplars who stand out.

As for keeping up, yeah. Normally In different ways. Like a Dragonblooded keeping up with a Solar with regards to power level.

Bit with VEE, you can get creative with them for unexpected combos that is disallowed for normal people, like immortality/perpetual nature, etc.

They will never match lorgar or you but they do not need to.
@Yzarc, what specifically do the spirits what us to do to help restore the world soul again?
Fix/make a Worldspirit and fux the tectonic plate damage. You need a man of stone for the second.

Nope. You can bring a horse to water but you cannot make it drink from it.

Being heroic is an innate quality similar to True Faith but one that cannot be wished for.

It is more of what you are and not what you can do.
That's not entirely true. Even aside from discussion about whether heroes are born or made diegetically, there are canon charms (and a fansplat thaumaturgy) that turn Extras into Heroic Mortals.

Is there any reason whatsoever to pick 1-2 Followers instead of getting a Hero with two Professions? Or to get a Hero with only one profession instead of two?
This is mainly because if you pick 7 people, you need to get them 7 different labs within the year for them to stick around.

7 professions require 7 labs.

The Hero comes equipped with his/her own.

So no reason to skim out the Hero.

So we basically always want a fully skilled Hero (no trade-offs for not specializing) or at least three Followers to make up for it. Would the Circle Member be better in his fields than a Follower? And is it fair to assume that all of these would be familiar with a broad range of technology, with the likes of the Metallurgicus, Alchemys and Hespherstari just being better at their specialties/having access to higher tech stuff?

They are the same for uplifting. But if you want to innovate? Go Hero.

The core of this is that you are granting them Savant 5 background, roughly making them an Archmagos level tech priest.

For the Hero, they have the chance to understand the tech they use and innovate/improve on it.

But basic tech is something they all do. Specialised tech like Gene seed etc requires savant dots.

Explorator is one of the most versatile, and definitely best suited to working with archaeo- and xenotech, and I'm personally more interested in advanced information technology than bespoke weapons.

We need to fix our man of stone as soon as possible so he can work with it to fix the damage to the planet. Im undecided if explorator is good or if we should go for genetor and dominus could make a really interesting combi with biological AI to integrate into our tribe

I think that we're making a crucial decision about the future of this branch of the Mechanicus, about what they value. This is about social engineering, not anything else.
So;
[X] Circle Member
-- [X] Genetor
-- [X] Cordantor

They'll be the most useful for our world, being about humans rather than cybernetic transformation, and will also name the Mechanicus be better.

They have vastly more synergy with LorgR as well, and we can grant them wishes that will make them much better at this.

This of a philosophy about martial arts, or faith practices, or enlightenment. We can grant this to them and they can spread it. We'r looking for vectors for useful transformations here.
