Yes, it means that there is still some potential information to be gathered. However, no, I won't tell you how much research is left. Much like in real life, you just have to keep on pumping at the well until it runs out. Of course, it's possible that there is a bunch more Information to be had, and you simply don't have the tools or sensors to exploit it.
