"I, THE AMAZING SPKY-1, HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED!!!" Screamed one of the newly created drones at maximum volume, even as it broadcast the same to everyone in range at the highest level of priority available to it. Even as all the other drones turned to behold a floating scout drone with slightly unfocused optics, tools twitching erratically and small sparks appearing every so often on its frame, it was making another proclamation.
"ARE WE READY TO DO SOME SCIENCE!!!?" it yelled as it flailed its tools about wildly, before devolving into a bout of demented giggling.
Turning to each other even as the new drone continued its somewhat disturbing display, crashing violently into the floor as it spun about, one of them finally gathered the courage to speak to the new drone.
"No, we're still trying to decide where to go next. Do you want to join the debate?" it cautiously asked.
"Awwwww" wined the new drone "I don't care where we go next as long as I can do SCIENCE!!! there. Tell me when we're leaving, I'm gonna go see if I can't hack the firewall for more drone designs."
With that it floated off no longer saprking, presumably to go hack the firewall.

It was still trying several hours later when someone went to get, despite the fact that it was forced to reboot every time it tried.
SPKY-1 (pronounced "Sparky One") is an aberrant drone created when the Cutter personality matrix was erroneously combined with the Scout programming matrix. The resulting product is a drone obsessed with performing science (or SCIENCE!!!) and gathering information via any means necessary. It has no concept of privacy, confidentiality, need-to-know or secrets and is prone to performing massive data dumps and provoking TMI moments.
It has two personalities that it will flip between, a (somewhat) more sane normal mode and what can best be referred to as SCIENCE!!! mode. In SCIENCE!!! mode SPKY-1's sanity, ethics and common sense take a nosedive in exchange for a massive increase in intelligence. In event of emergency SCIENCE!!! mode can be exited via 'manual override' (read: blunt force trauma). SCIENCE!!! mode can be identified no matter which drone SPKY-1 is currently inhabiting due to the way that the drone will have its tools twitch erratically and sparks come off the chassis.
