Not much for the Battery Bro's to do until we get those plants transplanted, and since they count as a Gather Materials I'll hope the Cutter Bois can handle moving some. [DO NOT CUT/SLICE/TEAR THE EXOTIC ENERGY PLANT OR I SWEAR ON THE GRAND COGITATOR I WILL PAINT YOU GLITTER PINK.]

We've suffered some minor damage. The fact that the biological menace was able to tear apart a cutter drone, our most heavily armored unit, concerns me. [Let's pull back for now and study the dead flesh-things so we can better squash them later.]

I hope we can eventually develop a repair drone, but as it stands at the moment the only drones who can perform field repairs are the Cutters, and only on themselves or other Cutters.

Good thing we have cutters on the front lines! Though that is a good idea. I'm thinking of equipping battery drones with repair packs, since they seem to play a supporting fire role in combat.

The image in my head of Battery drones being the TF2 Medic are steadily being reinforced.

Yep, that's what I understand from the update. The damage states are undamaged-damaged-destroyed, and one repair moves you up one state.
Future thing.
All drones are as healed as they can get until you return to base.
Hmmm. Unless something weird happens, Battery drones would probably be the last to gain a general heal ability. They're much more DPS in combat. They might gain something like Medics invincibility with enough shield and energy weapons research though.
Yep. There's a reason that Cutter drones are the melee combatants-they survive and recover much better than any other type. If it had been Scout or Battery drones taking the hits, the damage would have stuck. And more would have been destroyed.
Technically, there's a fourth: Obliterated. You don't get back up from obliterated, as it represents such things as being shredded into confetti, crushed into a coin, or melted into slag.
On that cheery note, it's time for everyone's favorite game! Are you going to have an unexpected event today?
I will say that the odds are quite low, even with 0 Information. Having had an event last period lowers the odds of getting another, especially since this is a relatively calm area. In this case, it would have to be a 90+ to trigger anything.

Yes. You normally would have gotten a half-period to do stuff after travel, but the Unexpected Event took the rest of the period to recover from. So you are voting whether or not to leave at the end of Period Two. Sorry if that was unclear.
