Not to be rude, but the embed video a page or so back says this with an in-depth explanation for why Kirito stuffing Yui into an item was bullshit. It isn't that Yui was transferred into an item or the fact that Kirito made that happen. The problem is that Kirito hacked the game in seconds to do. Again, the video embed from earlier explains why this is bullshit. I'd say more, but then it would feel like blatant plagiarism. In fact...Unless the dude managed to rewrite how computers communicate and managed to do so in a manner that was still somehow backwards compatible with all the current internet hardware, Kirito realistically could not have saved Yui's file, at least not in its entirety because the method of transfer would have said "Something's fucked up, let me start over again." And kept doing that while she was still loosing data and dying.
I think Dragon might be a l8ttle late to the party. From the first chapter:I think we first have to realize there's a problem and probably try to remember how we even got here first. Especially since the first Boss is a couple months in.
There's one boss per floor, right? Or is it every five floors?"'Ve only seen the first three Floors myself, but the First is definitely the best. The grass, the hills, the blue sky, and the sunrises and sunsets can't be beat."
Just let the argument die already. Please.
One per floor in canon. There's one boss per floor, right? Or is it every five floors?
I think there's a midboss and boss per floor.I think Dragon might be a l8ttle late to the party. From the first chapter:
There's one boss per floor, right? Or is it every five floors?
They're from Progressive I guess, the wiki lists one from the 2nd floor. This is the first I've heard of midbosses. There are dungeons and such, but there isn't a limit of one dungeon per floor; perhaps you're thinking of the bosses of those?
Tinkers don't need manuals!"That would be because there is no tutorial, silly. You were supposed to talk to the NPCs when you spawned. Or read the manual."
You duck your head a little bit, hoping to display embarrassment.
"...Ah. Yes. The manual."
Uh...uh....PANIC. PANIC. PANIC. PANIC!"I don't know. I've never even played any games before. I'm vaguely familiar with them, but only becuase I hang out on a forum that talks about games sometimes."
Yui's pout vanishes and her eyes widen.
"Whaaaaaaa? How'd you get a copy?!"
You look at her and express your confusion with a suitably placed eyebrow.
"There's only ten thousand NerveGears on the East Coast!" She nearly falls off the bench as she waves her arms wildly.
Um... Dude. SAO wouldn't normally be based in Japan, at least not unless Dragon jumped a world on accident. And given how Collin doesn't know she's an AI, that hasn't happened yet. Japan is a third world country thanks to Leviathan and Lung camping out and wasting Kyushu in 1999 in Worm.Tinkers don't need manuals!
Uh...uh....PANIC. PANIC. PANIC. PAN-
Wait a damn minute.
Yui found out we don't live in Japan! She wouldn't be so surprised about us having one if she didn't realize we're in North America instead of Japan. That isn't something a normal SAO player would be able to figure out. Her shock could also be coming from the the fact that we are the 10,001st player, which is also something a normal player wouldn't know. It isn't visible on Dragon's profile either!
With the information given, we could immediately assume that Yui is no normal player but instead a mod. How should we go about doing that?
This formatting works perfectly well.[X][Update Action] "Yes, but I'm Canadian. Seriously, though..."
[x][Update Action] You don't know. You're at your job, nothing is going on, and then you're waking up out in a field.
-[x][Update Action] Head to an area where you're less likely to be overheard, if possible.
--[x][Update Action] Or just ask Yui if there's some sort of a private chat system you could use; if there is, use that instead.
(not sure if I'm formatting that the way I want it ;~; )
Also, everything so far has been in English, including Yui's speech and UI and the names of the shops, and everybody's mouth flappings are perfectly aligned with their speech. Dragon hasn't thought about it but would be almost certain that Yui is a native English speaker. You're seriously reaching. Especially when it comes to little things which contradict you like "Dragon has no idea SAO was based in Japan."
