Um. Has someone dressed up in an Abyssal costume or something? That seems like it would be in bad taste. If not, why the heck is she here without klaxons and things going off all over the place? Did someone defeat and adopt her, or something?

USS William D. Porter waited. The lights above her blinked and sparked out of the air. There were Abyssals in the base. She didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. Her warnings to the admiral were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Willy was a ship for years. When she was young she watched the other destroyers and she said to USS Fletcher "I want to be a good destroyer sister."
She said "No! You will BE KILL BY THE JAPANESE"
There was a time when she believed her. Then as she got oldered she stopped. But now in the naval base she knew there were Abyssals.
"This is Sammy" the radio crackered. "You must fight the Abyssals!"
So Willy gotted her rigging and blew up the wall.
"SHE GOING TO KILL US" said the Abyssals
"I will shoot at her" said the Re-Class and she fired her main guns. Willy torpedoed at her and tried to sink her. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the Abyssal" she shouted
The radio said "No, Willy. You are the Abyssals"
And then Willy was a Destroyer Princess.
