    Yamato's crew is too much for you! You need backup!
    Wading over to Mahan, you clasp her hands.

    "Alliance," you stare her in the eyes, "For freedom and liberty."

    Mahan grins evilly. With your powers combined, you'll be nearly unstoppable! Just one more asset...

    "Nagato-!" you turn to invite the other Battleship to the fight... and see that she has joined, but is weighing in with Yamato.

    Oh dear.
    Welp, if Taffy 3 could fight alone and outgunned, so can you! But no real weapons, or you will follow through with your threat to keel-haul.
    As such, you yank some kind of shiv out of the hands of one of your Fairies. Seriously!

    With much cheering, your handful of boats joins with Mahans and charges Yamato and Nagato's little fleet. They've clustered close together, though, what are they doing?! They're just one big target!

    The outlying boats fall first, and Yamato's boats begin boarding yours. They fight all the way to the center boat... and then her Fairies begin screaming and backing up. Wha-?

    Everyone's eyes bulge in shock as you witness one Fairy standing atop his little boat's boiler, the engine having been... rigged somehow. And given how it's hissing and bulging, you think you know what it's been turned into.

    "Give me liberty," the Fairy shouts as he raises a hammer, "or give me DEATH!"

    And with that cry of patriotism, he brings his implement down onto the boiler.

    The explosion is comparatively massive, although not really for you. Still, the shockwave capsizes every boat, tossing all the screaming Fairies into the water to tread waves.

    The offending Fairy sails through the air, screaming, "God Bless the USAAAAaaaaaa~"

    Before landing in Hoppo's hair. Hoppo seems not to notice.

    "..." Yamato looks to you and Mahan, a bit frazzled, "Whose Fairy was that?"

    You and Mahan share a look. Um, you don't know.

    Did the faires just Allahu Akboat? I think they Allahu Akboated and it was great, clearly this needs to be every destroyers plan C against battleships, ram them so they can't escape then turn yourself into a 2000 ton bomb.

    Seems silly enough that even if it goes horribly wrong we somehow come out a victor, or a loser that amused our conquerors into sparing us.

    My girlfriend is a massive WW2 nut, especially about the ships. From the stories she tells, I can only assume the following things:
    1. Destroyers were crewed by fucking crazy people who knew neither fear nor death
    2. If KanColle wanted to be more accurate, every USN Destroyer would be acting like a Warboy from Fury Road. Hell, one of her favorite Destroyers, the Aaron Ward, apparently charged the Kirishima.
      1. "I WILL ASCEND TO VALHALLA SALTED AND STEAMED! I SAIL, I SINK, I SAIL AGAIN! WITNESS ME!"
