DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything - Quest

inb4 GM makes us sit through the entire opening ceremony through long exposition/monologue if we don't choose the go late option. :V

But if we choose the "go late" option we'll just have an equally long monologue of the principal chewing us out.

No, they always pay extra attention to the people in the back. You wanna be somewhere in the middle.
With most auditoriums, corner back is best because it's hard for them to get to you.
Middle is good in classrooms if you don't want to pay attention.
Opening ceremonies don't usually have people watching beyond just disruptive behavior.

Aisle back is a little more obvious than the other back seats, but we don't want to deal with getting caught in the flood of students leaving the auditorium.
First one out means we can be a little more lax in getting to class.

I'm delighted that we're actually having an argument on how best to slack off.

This only lacks one thing... @o3o do you know what this argument lacks? :D

Huh, well that's weird. They did things differently in my school, assemblies had coverage at every corner and if they caught someone sleeping they would shake them awake.

I'm gonna smack a bitch if someone brings up TTGL.
As surely as the setting sun rises and set's every day so is the certainty that we will slack off to limits unkown to average mortals! Like the Human Spirit eternally moving forward like a drill through the very ground, so too shall our dreams undisturbed by the monotony of school!

No matter what happens, even if the earth opens at our feet, if loud music begins to play, if fire and destruction ravage our world, even if we die we shall be Forever Dreaming!

That's amazingly inspiring. I feel like slacking off now. :p

I was going to write a speech for getting there on time, but now I'm feeling lazy...
Well played Lucky, well played.

[X] Go early, its the first day of school

the question is whether we want to get some sleep or not. if we do want to nap, then a pair of normal glasses and sitting in the back corner should help.

[X] Go early, its the first day of school. You want to grab one of the good slack off spots before they are all taken by the other slackers. Your a professional slacker compared to everyone else in you go to school with~! Also you suppose you finally might get lucky and spot another dicer. You might be able to bum a die?

Also: YESSSssssss......!!!! Early access to X. Even if we don't exactly get dice means we at least are in the know. Which is better then pretty much 99.999% of any other background we could have gotten. The story revolves around the dicers, the fact we literally start off as in the know? Just simply awesome.

Now we just have to start working on acquiring our first die. If we are lucky and get started early we might be able to even put a dozen points into charisma without having to worry to immediately about the inevitable fights we are going to get into. Having a support network? Priceless.

So what do we do if the football team decides they like our seat?

You are reasonably popular, they would just sit next to you.

Also they won't be taking attendance in the ceremony and you know which class you would be sorted out long before school. You could go straight to class if you wish for it..

The schools firewall is a joke...

Sweet. Still wish we knew what score was equal to average. Like a 5 in a stat means your bottom of the school level. 10 means your average. etc.

Votes are closed,
[X] Go early, its the first day of school
is the winning vote.

Still can someone give me a vote tally just to be sure?

In the end you decide to leave early. Grabbing your school bag and a couple of snack bars to eat on the way to school you leave the house. Its still dark outside, a hour when everyone is still asleep or supposed to be. Stifling a yawn you open a snack bar. Not the best breakfast but it'll do for now.

You pass a small cofee shop as you open the second snack bar. Normally you get your cofee from there. Sadly it doesnt open for another hour. Your phone rings when you are through eating the second bar...

X: When was the fire-drill today?

Vladimir: Huh. Whats with the weird question?

X: Just answer it!

Vladimir: Okay, okay. Every year we have it after the 4th period at the end of the 45 minute break. Its the same this year.

X: ... (._.)

Vladimir: ...

X: Rejoice Vladimir! Today is the day you become a real dicer!

Vladimir: ...Wait what, all of a sudden?!

X: Think of it as a back to school present. ( ̄▽ ̄)

Vladimir: ...If this is a joke. Are you lying to me?

X: No jokes, completely serious. Im sad Vlad, you don't trust me? (╥﹏╥)

Vladimir: Why should i?

X: I consider you as a friend. Friends don't lie to each-other. You will be a dicer at the end of day, that i can promise. (^L^)

Vladimir: ...How?

X: Leave the small details to me. Don't worry about it...

Well that was an interesting conversation at the very least. You have arrived to school 2 hours early. Probably the first person to do so if you don't count the gate keeper who is in the lala land at the moment...

Its 6.30, students come at 8 o'clock and school officially starts at 8.30. You have hours to spare.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

What do you do?

[X] Write in ( i have the option of vetoing if the votes are not reasonable )
