DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything - Quest

Lets look at this logically.

I believe we can all agree that we are going to be getting our hands on some dice rather soon. Like within the week in RL soon.

So effectively what we chose now isn't all that relevant except to determine our original position in society and our score in inspiration.

We know that every stat other then inspiration can be raised with dice whenever we have them. Inspiration can't be raised through the use of dice.

So effectively the question is: Is Inspiration worth it? Are we willing to "risk" having a lower starting point?

I for one would think so. 6 points to improve it by merely 1? That simply screams super stat to me. Just look at the description. It explicitly lets us fight people well above our dice bracket. People can simply be better then us and we still have a chance. Smarter, faster, stronger, whatever. It doesn't matter. Inspiration reads as a universal equalizer stat.

Also can someone help me with the index..

Also can someone help me with the index.

You lazy mother fucker.

1. First roll of many.

2. Got a five, feelin' alive.

3. And then no one reincarnated ever again!

4. Character creation begins.

EDIT: There we go, un-fucked my post. Also, to create links of posts, click the grey number at the bottom of each post to get a link to that post. Then just use the link tool in the post editing tools (It looks like a chain segment) and paste in the link.

I'm really *REALLY* hoping that since we where the one to grab the die we are the first original dicer, or one of them at least if there are multiple starters. It would make sense at least. X only appears to people who have acquired and rolled a die. We just brought one down with us, and when we inevitably let go in our fall its going to roll. So being one of the original dicers should be a potential reward for the write in? :ogles: *give really hopeful look*

The sun is shinning, birds are singing , the flowers are blooming and its Monday, first day of school to be precise. You sigh* at the thought of that. Ever since you went first entered school you found it dreadfully boring. It was so bland and dull, there wasn't even anything remotely challenging about it.

X: Why so depressed Vlad :???:

Vladimir : Its to early to deal with you, go away.

X: Its the first day of school, you should be more excited! Waking up at 6 a.m, meeting your new classmates, the school lunch...

Vladimir: Are you doing this on purpose.

X: I have no idea what are you talking about. ^.^
That was X. You had him ever since you got your first phone. When you first met him you thought he was some kind of advanced Al, but you quickly came to the conclusion that he was not. There was simply no technology advanced enough to create something so complex. You could have mistaken him for a human if you didn't know any better.

Of course at first you tried to get rid of him. Changing phones didn't work, he always appeared on the new one. Not using a phone didn't work either, he just went to whatever electronic device you were using instead. You even learned hacking so you could get rid of him, it was futile in the end. His firewall was too advanced for this era, almost alien. So in the end when faced between dealing with him and living a life bereft of technology you grudgingly admitted defeat.

When you asked him why were you stuck with him he said that you were a Dicer and proceeded explaining all about how they could use the dice to improve themselves, change their destiny, defy fate etc. You pointed out you didn't even have a dice so you couldn't be a Dicer and he said that you counted as one because you already defied fate. He didn't tell you anything else on that matter.

Your thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of the alarm clock. You had two, in case you couldn't wake up on the first. This one was a gift from your grandfather (a clock-maker) so you wouldnt fall asleep on school days and louder than the first by a wide margin. The school didnt start for another hour or two, still could go early, fool around in the house and arrive just in time or late if you wanted to skip the opening ceremony... Or you could just skip it completely.

[X] Go early, its the first day of school

[X] Arrive just it time

[X] Go late so you could skip the opening ceremony

[X] Skip school, you already know everything about the subject they are teaching. No need to waste a perfectly fine day.
-[X] İnstead go to ( Write - in )

You didn't expect this did you, did you.!?

[X] Get there with about fine minutes to spare. School may be boring, but you don't want to have to try and fast-talk a cop.
