Cyberpsycho Attack in Cherry Blossom Market pt. 3
[X] Get Aves' to help you out. (-5 Faith to heal Lycan. Expose proof of Divinity in front of the Ripperdoc)

There's no time for this! Lycan's bleeding out too fast for either of them to stabilize him and the cyberpsycho's still out there. Every second they spend in here increases the chances of that gun-toting maniac killing them. Tanner can feel his pin burning hot and a power welling up inside him as he began to channel his god's power through himself.

"Doc?" He quickly piped up, suddenly remembering that she was right here. "Turn off any and all cameras in here."

The ripperdoc twitched and turned to look at him with her one working eye. "What?"

"Just do it!" Tanner's eyes began to glow yellow and the Ripperdoc's confusion quickly gave way to shock, awe and fear, her one good eye glowing; shutting down all the cameras as she cried out. "What are you doing!?"
"Getting some Divine Intervention!" Yellow light flowed through Tanner's body as he became charged with divine power and the detective never felt so… powerful before! He felt as if he were a battery charged to the brim and he felt as if he could do anything! He nearly caught himself about to run out of the ripperdocs to deal with the cyberpsycho himself before remembering that Lycan needed him.

Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to calm and laid his hands on the officer's bleeding body and all that yellow light began to disperse from his hands before his and the ripperdoc's eyes, Lycans wound was magically sealing itself up, his pale face regaining a tiny bit color as he brought back from the brink!

"Oh my god." The ripperdoc's remaining eye bulged as her scanner witnessed everything, heartrate, and blood levels were stabilizing, and the nick in the artery's sealing up, what is she even looking at!?

The light fades and Officer Lycan, was saved from death but barely. "Hail Aequitas Veritas." Tanner muttered under his breath, suddenly left panting and staring at his hands Damn, did… did he do that? Turning his gaze to the ripperdoc, the detective looked as if he had just run a marathon. "How are his vitals, doc? … Doc?"

He called out to the ripperdoc, turning to look at her only to see her aiming a gun at him. "What. The fuck. Was that?"

His hand immediately flew to where his gun was and- Shit. That was his gun. "Okay, listen."

"Not one more step!" She warned, even if her dominant hand was out of commission, she can still blow his brains out at this range. "Whoever or.. Or.. whatever you are, you just did the impossible. That should not be possible!"

"Look, I can tell you everything you want to know but now is not the right time, we need to get you and Officer Lycan out of here."

The Ripperdoc stared at him for a good long time, keeping his own gun trained on him. There was the slightest hesitation before she took in a deep breath, sighed and lowered the gun, and handed it over. "I'll hold you to that." She gave him a glare promising bad things should he make her regret it.

"Thanks, doc." Tanner let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding and gave her a relieved smile. "You won't regret it."

"I better not. Now help me." She gestured to Lycan's limp body and slung an arm over her shoulder and Tanner was taking Lycan's other arm and slinging it over his own shoulder as they got him up to his feet. "Wakey, wakey Lycan! On your feet!"

The responding groan was all he needed to hear. "Don't worry buddy, we're getting you out of here." He said as the three of them made their way out the door as fast as they could with one being near dead weight.

The sounds of guns and bullets whizzing through the air were reintroduced to Tanner's ears and it seems that both Wetmore and Cox have been doing a good job in keeping the cyberpsycho distracted judging from how much collateral damage had been inflicted in the surrounding area during his time with the doc and Lycan but they were running out of steam and ammunition.

"Cox!" He called out the officer huddled against the wall sporting few injuries. "Sitrep!"

"We're fucking out of ammo!" He yelled back, "I'm all out and Wetmore's down to his last mag!" There's a scream, followed by a burst of gunfire before it abruptly cut off, which was then followed by a curse. "Scratch that, Wetmore just ran out of ammo."

"Fuck! MaxTac?" Tanner was already on the move, his Lexington in hand to give Wetmore backup.

"They'll be here any minute!" Cox cried out, taking Lycan's arm and helping the ripperdoc get him to safety.

"Wetmore!?" Tanner followed the sounds of gunfire and screams. Running up the stairs to where the giant statue was only to arrive just in time to see the Cyberpsycho holding up a limp Wetmore by the neck. "Wetmore!"
The cyberpsycho slowly turned to look at the detective and tossed the officer aside, well shit. Now that he could get a better look at the guy, it's no wonder he went psycho.

The guy was practically chrome from head to toe. Aside from the mantis blade, Tanner could see the lines where artificial flesh and plates separated each other, and it covered his entire body in geometric shapes that seemed to weave into some kind of hexagonal pattern. His eyes were both glowing a menacing red despite being in the middle of the day. His rampage had ruined most of his clothes as well, the sleeves of his jacket were completely torn to shreds, and his clothes were covered in blood and bullet holes.

"Swat the gnats! Burn the flies!" He screamed and in quick flashes, began to close the distance between himself and Tanner, who began to shoot but as soon as he pulled the trigger, the cyberpsycho's malfunctioning mantis blade took a swipe at him and knocked the gun out of his hands, sending it flying in pieces.

"Shit!" He jumped back, almost tripping over his feet in the process. Damnit, now he'll have to requisition a new sidearm!

"All of you! All of you are filthy!" The Cyberpsycho screamed, swinging his arms at unseen assailants. "Clean you out! Cleanse with fire!" Shrugging his rifle from his back, he quickly took aim.

"Oh fuck." Then he fired.

Tanner ran, trying to get as much distance as he could between himself and the cyberpsycho, dodging bullets as he went. He ran towards one of the pillars near the back of the statue, slipping into a slide and pressing his back against the pillar as he tried to look around for a weapon but all he found were abandoned drinks and- AHA! He could use this! He reached out to grab it and dust filled his line of sight as relentless gunfire pummeled into the pillar, chunks of concrete chipped away as cyberpsycho closed the distance. "Burn the infestation! Mad flies! Mad Flies!"

What does Tanner Montoya pick up? (choose 1)

[ ] A Kitchen Knife

What's the plan? (MaxTac arrives at the end of next turn)

A/N: Not sure if I did this justice! Did I make the cyberpsycho too weak and boring? Did I not give him enough screen time? Was it too much for only 4 3 officers on the scene to be able to keep him distracted long enough? I don't know. Anyway, this time I wanted to see just how creative you all can be! Can you get Tanner out of this sticky situation? Vote's open! Go wild!

Yeah, I'm really not sure what we can do with any of these.
As mentioned in the authors notes, get creative! Pick up the knife throw it at him, jam it i to his mantid blade, use the gun and pistol whip him axross the face, flex your creativity!

... Lady. Someone just showed nanomachine-tier ability to save someone's bacon, and your decision is to point a gun at them.
This is not World of Darkness and you are not Technocracy.
If we were a scientific god, she'd be a prime candidate for a convert though.

[X] An Electric Baton
Seems like the only thing capable of stunning him. Maybe spend even more mana on making it stick? Punishing the wicked through the medium of electricity?

So I think it may be a good idea to have a, you know, a plan.
Since Electric Baton seems to be our weapon of choice, going for close range seems to be our best bet.

[X] Plan Spider's Electric Web
-[X] Take the Electric Baton. See if you can find any not spilled drink close nearby.
-[X] Let the Psycho come close, staying as close to the pillar or any cover you can find.
-[X] When he's close enough, throw the drink and attack with the baton, aiming for Chrome parts, especially the head/eyes or the malfunctioning arm.
-[X] Once he's stunned, kick the gun out of his hand, then go grab it!
--[X] If you manage to get the gun, focus on getting the distance from him. Take some shots at him if you get enough distance.
--[X] If he still has the gun, try to stun him some more, or get into cover if you lose the baton.

The plan contains the vote for a weapon, because the entire plan relies on the baton's abilities.

I think adding some divine power would help with this.

Assuming we can keep up with him we should be able to fuck this guy up enough for Max-Tac to be able to rip him apart easily, especially if we hit him with another soda.

Yes, but:
1) 25 mana per month. We spent 15 already.
2) 3 more weeks befoere mana is regained.
3) Our only follower is a cop. He'll face more situations like this. Potentially (2AP x 3 weeks) = 6 more fights.

Yes Doc's a potential follower, so more mana. But that could also mean spending 10 mana on her, if we want to buff her.

There's a vital difference between a cyberpsycho and a regular gang member.

This might be a little early to ask, but the next time we get to chose domains, what domain do you guys think we should get next?

So far my top choices are Valor, Truth, and Vengeance.

I feel like Valor would come in handy for situations such as the Cyberpsycho we're currently fighting, especially during the times we aren't working to protect someone but just trying to take the baddie down. Plus we could use this down the line to buff people outside the PD like David and V, (especially David if it means stopping him from going full Chrome Junkie and going over the edge).

Truth would also be good on the bureaucratic side of things, like finding and exposing any corruption in our Police force and beyond, and assuming it isn't too late, we could save Sasha by exposing Securince so that she doesn't die uploading their shit to the media (assuming we're far back enough in the lore to save her).

Vengeance I feel like would also help us as it might give us a buff for when shit already a get bad (I.e. someone we're trying to protect or close with gets stuck in Adam Smasher's Slaughterhouse of fun), could use it to buff either V/Johnny Silverhand or David's crew depending on the situation.

Also, do we have the option to buff the domains we already have? Like leveling justice up to get better buffs/gains?

With both our godly interventions being saving someone from fatal wounds, and our second witness being a literal doc, we could potentially claim domain over life, or medicine.
Then we just need to get domain relating to rescue workers/firefighters and we'd have an emergency hotline trinity :p

911: 'This is 911. What is your emergency?'
Caller: 'Oh god there's a cyberpsycho in the Mega Mall, he has a flamethrower, so many corpses oh god-'
Aequitas Veritas: 'I hear your cry. I will not allow wickedness to prevail.'
Caller:
'What??'
911: 'Miracle has been dispatched. Praise be.'

But in all seriousness, something to keep our guys alive even after they are killed would be great.

Remember citizens when you encounter a dangerous situation Pray 911 and an officer will be dispatched shortly.

Clearly this is why in game the Police always spawn on top of you when you commit crime, it's not the Devs being lazy, it's just the power of Aves teleporting cops to active crimes.
Does that mean by Canon Logic: Aves becomes the most powerful deity in Cyberpunk 2077?

Cause that means we do good. :V
