That can get us around the range limitation, yeah, but I was thinking about the van more as a shorthand for 'we're playing mission control and can't go there directly for reasons', or playing socialite or something.
Since people seem to be voting for physicals, I'd like to make a case for superspeed being generally a better option if we're trying to be a combat teleporter. Namely, while the enhancement provides us with strength and survivability, speed gives us significantly better teleport spam by, subjectively, giving us more time to think and aim. Faster cognition also makes us better in noncombat roles, so long as we can avoid fatigue. While, of course, this costs us durability and power in combat, and means we can't do things like dramatically hold open the closing security doors, we gain precision and durability's for chumps who can't dodge anyway
. Further, if we want lethality, that's what guns or, given the cyberpunk tag, street samurai vibroblades
[1] are for. If we want non-lethality, why are we hitting them with superstrength instead of a taser?
[1] We will be Jetstream Sam...'s less cool cousin.
