Covered In Blood And Surrounded By Spirits (Hellsing CK2 Organization Quest)

That aside i really hope we have some way of getting Yanagawa back into the fight, he'd be pretty useful against the bitch with the scythe as his sword will probably help protect him from her illusion bullshit.
On some level, I'm hoping he and Yumiko meet her, and he has to snap her out of it/lend her his sword for the fight. It'd balance well with this scene.

[X] Turtle Up: Integra wants to make sure that her foothold in the city stays hers, and you can't blame her. A home base would be crucial to staying safe and reducing damage to your forces until you are in a good position to strike. Still, this maximizes possible civilian casualties.

[X] All Guns Pointed Forward: The best way to save lives is to end the conflict, preferably with huge amounts of violence. Miyako recommends a forward charge with all forces, leading up to a nearby airfield, from which an aerial strike could take down the zeppelins, and destroy their bombing capabilities. Easily the most risky, for obvious reasons, but with the most potential benefits if it works.

[X] Hit and Run: Groups of fighters making their way through the city could reasonably do a lot of damage, and help save civilians and disrupt the enemy. A lot of your units, such as your swordsmen, are well suited to the work, and people like Akuma and Miyako leading the groups would surely lead to even greater success. Still, it leaves Hellsing Manor quite vulnerable.

Democracy is in the more complicated quests, when two or three people write out a plan and everyone bandwagons on one of those.
This is quite different from democracy as we practice it.

Oh great, Anderson is going to go Biblical.

As for Yumie.... Odds are she'll be all for killing Nazi vampires, if nothing else, when else do you get a chance to do that? I mean, really....
It is the one great truth of life that everyone is down to kill some Natsies.
My guess is that he's getting either a wife or a lifelong rival from this. Or both.
What's that you say? We're gonna eugenics up the perfect swordwielder for the next generation? Sounds good to me.

Would be interesting to see this crossover with Noragami later on.
Quite annoyed at the death toll which makes me wonder how they're going to explain this.

I thought he got taken down by AA fire offscreen?
I hadn't heard about that. He bloody well better be fine and just gearing up to join the Nazi Slaughtering festivities, The LD Man told me to prepare for some Ho-Ho-Holy Shit and I certainly expect to see some Ho-Ho-Holy Shit going down.

he's not dead, but I think he's still too wounded to take to the field.
Actually...

Go for it man. Five hundred word minimum for it to be an official omake, but I would enjoy it regardless. To be clear, I don't mind comparisons or references to abridged, but my issues in the past are with people asking if i'm writing the Abriged version. Which I am clearly not.

So yeah, green light.

Edit: Oh, and Santa recovered in the reroll. Prepare for some ho-ho-holy shit.
He should be healed enough to fight, unless I missed something between then and now.

I'm kind of wavering on that actually. I don't want to just stuff a bunch of overblown crap into this battle and make it even more long winded than it probably already will be. SO if people still want him, it shall be granted, but otherwise, I'm happy to take the reroll omake as a normal omake with the bonuses it entails.

Maybe compromise, and have him do stuff offsceen? And then we hear about his involvement at the end of the invasion?

I'm inclined stick with the initial result of Santa being wounded by AA fire, simply because it appeals to me more. Also, because I'm wary of allowing Omake bonuses to effect quests too much, as I like having a chance of failure in quests, and readily available rerolls/bonuses can decrease failure rates to near zero too quickly for my tastes. Also because I think the fight would probably work better thematically without Santa showing up given that there's no IC foreshadowing leading to it, unlike basically everything else that's shown up.

OTOH, you already said that he would be present, so there's a pretty good argument to make him show up based on that alone. Not my preference, but still a fairly strong argument.

I just love the idea of Santa showing up to lay some smackdown on Nazi's personally. I really don't care if it makes the battle longer, we were looking forwards to this battle since the quest started, and if said battle lasts longer then expected? Then I'll just get that much more enjoyment out of it.
