Not always, but fairly often yes. It's why revealing Town Color doesn't actually prove you to be Town anymore. I believe that QT actually mentioned as much Day 1? Would have to go look again, will do that later.

I honestly hadn't really registered that.

My first instinct was to say this makes him less suspicious. After thinking about it though, why not use the actual name and title if you acknowledge only colour isn't very useful?

I've just literally never been scum so I didn't know that, so it seemed like a ridiculous claim to make. Like, really, look at the past three or four games - I have been vanilla town in every single one.
 
So does it help town or scum to mention what happened to me during the night? Or should I wait for more information to be revealed before revealing if anything happened to me during the night?

If you are going to be shooting off Night One, you need to at least have some kind of suspicion for it, ideally you should have some kind of reasoning at any point you're going to kill off a player, but Night One in particular needs some good justification for me.

Agreed. Quite frankly, if I'm a vig I'll be killing N1, but I don't see Yun at all.

I know. I'd still kill N1 unless I had a reason not to do such. I don't know why Yun, though, that's absolutely weird.
 
I caught a power role last night, but not either one of the killers so not going to out them unless I have to or I get their permission.

Also, we have one of:
1. Newbie Vig
2. Extremely Powerful Vig
3. Scum with town kill colors.

None of these bode well, not even the second due to the fact that it implies a similarly buffed scum.
 
I'm gonna sleep but I don't want us to focus only on QT so someone please start up a different conversation as well. If no one does I'll see if I can do anything tomorrow but I'll probably be busy dying from the heat so don't expect me to.
 
What are the odds of there being no cult as the vampires just want to kill us all and we have been cleverly tricked by Cyricubed into thinking it is a cult game? I don't believe that Cyricubed ever confirmed that it was a cult game and just left us with the impression that it was.

Ever heard of Occam's Razor? The chance of that happening is not even close to large enough for us to want to take into account. As it stands, you are trying to lynch the only person we effectively know to be on the side of town. That makes you the most suspicious person here, not QT.

Wow, this is some heavy defending. Or they could simply be a scum member with Town color in their PM to keep assholes from going "Okay, what's Town color?" in a way Scum can't answer.

I think the problem is this is that neither of these really look.. Vampire-y. Stabbed through the heart? In a pool of blood? They'd be exsanguinated if it were vamps blood draining, most likely. So the most likely thing that happened is culting.

Which means it's entirely possible that that's what you saw and just... didn't have any visible day results. Which is annoying. I kind of want you to reveal this, but... Well, you get it.

I am reasonably sure that this is not the case, although not positive. The night action I saw doesn't make much sense as a curling.

That vote and null was because I didn't know scum usually know the color of town, and the intensity was because I just got back from mulling to five three goddamned times in a row in my league. If you'd looked at my next post, after the two you quoted, you can see me asking.
 
Honestly I'll be happy to eat crow after-game but I still believe QT's claim. Sorry, I've been busy today so kinda haven't been around. I'll try and post something substantive tonight; I will say that I think Happerry's play is reading a lot differently to me this game than last game. And last time I felt like this I ended up letting go of it and being right about Absum so... yeah. Vote may be inbound soon.
 
Last game I felt I had more to go on and poke at, honestly, this game less so. Also I'm not an Oracle who knows there's at least one other explosive imp in play right now so I don't have a reason to get very worried about large voting blocks and poke people on them repeatedly to ask if they're really sure this is a good idea.

Mainly right now I'm feeling mystified by the nightly death targets and trying to decide if I should think there's two vigs in play or not, or if the 'not looking like a vampire' killing was done by some sort of hypnotized thrall or if there's some sort of second faction in play (I hope not).

I'm not sure I'm convinced because your approach last game was completely different. You were proactive- about the things you had information about, yes, but about other things too. You moved the game forward, pushed players, made arugments. You're... not really doing that much this game. You pop up the moment you're criticized so you're clearly reading the thread, but you're not trying to create new avenues or raise arguments or even ask people for suspicions or directions to take the game. You're incredibly content to... just let the game happen in the background. You aren't just not taking charge because you have certain information that the rest of town doesn't and taking stances based on that information- outside Yun I'm not sure what your stance on anything in this game is, almost. You are both incredibly passive and perfectly content to stay that way as long as you aren't being criticized for it, which is a rather worrying combination.

I'd guess third party. Through the heart and cut throat seems a way to go through vamps, but they look like a nontown color.
Could I request that people don't kill me tonight, btw? Just tonight, I don't want to impose too much. I feel like I'm missing simultaneously just like 20% of what I need for a case and 80%, and I'm hoping another night and new day will let me do some kind of mental judo with myself.
