Come for the Raifus, Stay for the Plot: Girls' Frontline - Baking Time

Should the participation rewards have come in yet? I haven't gotten anything, but I did do the ranking map.

On the main UI screen, look for the Rank button near the center bottom area, than after that click the Event Rank button on the lower left corner. You should be able to see your best score and resulting percentage near the bottom of the following screen.
Ok.

Yeah, I got no rewards beyond participation. Still, FREE GEMS!

Went fishing for the new raifus (because I misread the announcement email).

Didn't get them, but did finally get IWS-2000 :)

EDIT: Bah. 55% on ranking. I wouldn't have bothered even doing more than spawn-and-settle if I'd known a pacifist run wouldn't make the cut :(

I somehow managed to push through the event at the last minute (largely by grace of abandoning Vengeance map and switching to Mark), despite games stubborn attempts to dissuade me.

Can't say I particularly liked event on the whole, which is a shame, because I've found writing and story to be pretty good.

Also, relationship ended with T-Dolls, Ange is now my new waifu.

So now that CT is over, it's time to start prepping for Isomer. What's the trick for its ranked map? I found out too late that my taunt fairies weren't up to snuff for CT ranked, so I didn't do very well. I'd like to avoid that next time, but I can't find any guides for Isomer ranked in English.

It takes a week of grinding data combat sims to get one fairy's skill from 9 to 10, so yes I really do want to start preparing this early. Leveling fairies is also slow, especially now that I'm using the extra xp for special combat reports for the HOCs.

A quick overview:

What kind of other HOCs are there? I've heard something about an AT Rifle from some bonus event.

I'm also interested in the new kinds of fairies (not that I've figured out the old kinds completely). There were rumours that a DJ Max crossover event had some interesting ones.

There are 3 more HOCs we haven't gotten yet. AT4, M2, and QLZ-04. Basically, one anti tank missile, one mortar, and one grenade launcher. AT4 and QLZ-04 will probably be made theatre exclusives at first and made available in sample analysis at a later date, since that's how CN did it.

Oh hey, do I spy an actual niche for Typewriter and Courier?

A quick overview:

I'm going to need more taunt fairies, on top of improving everything on the ones I already have. That's 2-3 for the anti-mech RF/HG teams and 1 for the M4/IWS team. AFAIK the Hydra slayer RF teams use damage boosting fairies, so at least I don't need 7 taunt fairies.

Also I'm going to need even more HGs. That's up to 7 Calico's (M950A), if every RF team and M4 use one. I've only got 2 at lv 100. At least I've got 3 more at lv 1.

Edit: Or to the mechs/gundams spawn far enough away that I won't need taunt fairies to stall for a few seconds for skills to activate?

Do we already know what the exclusive gear awarded by Isomer Ranking is?

It's useless.

Not every RFHG team is going to want Calico. Actually, most RFHG teams aren't even going to need more than 1 ROF buffer, because Isomer enemies have 220 armor (!). On top of that, M200 is expected to be one of the top options, and she can't make good use of ROF buffs at all. Taunt isn't really needed either, the doppels here spawn much further back so the issues associated with them are different (you need them to die as soon as they stop moving because the walk time is long enough that they will immediately use their special attack).

Calico is usually my go-to ROF buffer because her skill is stronger than Stechkin's and I only have 1 Five-Seven. Right now I primarily use Grizzly for raw FP buffs in RF teams, but I'm leveling extra SAAs for when her MOD3 drops. Contender, K5, and Mk23 also get used in various positions for extra damage.

It's nice to hear that there'll be less doppels immediately in my face. That was incredibly frustrating on CT ranked.

What I mean is that, by the time Isomer rolls around, you'll be seriously considering just getting ROF from tiles alone. Even maxed out AP post rework can't fully pierce 220 armor, so you get more out of stacking FP than ROF. Also, since it's night, Mk23 is actually just better than Grizzly in raw FP buffs (Grizzly is still good though). Calico is still a good option between her ROF buffs and strong acc tiles, but you're not going to be running her on all of your RFHG, or even most of them.

Noted, thank you.

Who even has RoF tiles and a useful buff skill? I can't find anyone other than 2-star HGs, most of whom's tiles are fairly bad. And then there's PPK, who's tiles give the most +RoF of all HG at 32%. Is she who you're talking about?

Grizzly and Mk23 don't conflict for spots. I do need more Mk23's though, I've only got 2 a lv 100, one of which isn't at SL 10 yet. Mk23 has typically been part of my MG/SG teams, but if I'm not running any of those she can go in RF teams. I used her as part of M200's squad back during the Valhalla crossover with good results.
