School has kinda been in the background of this quest for a while so when does the school year end? Typically June through mid-August is summer break, but that varies depending on the district.

By the way, is there a way I can vote for a sub action, without voting for the parent action? As in, saying "I don't think this should be our project, but IF the vote turns out against me here is a suggestion on HOW to do it". I like this spell, but I assume linking devices to Taylor's mana will require a lot of trial and error. I can imagine side effects, such as the device consuming a greater amount of mana if it is far from Taylor, thereby knocking Taylor out if she uses a lot of mana on experiments or personal safety. I won't vote for it in its current state. Why don't we just give it a dust-fueled engine?
Also I reckon there should be a line about "minions paid or forced to be loyal" to give the spell the best possible chances of being effective against Coil.

I chose the word "loyal" because it fit the rhyme, but I'll keep working on it. The phone is meant to protect against Coil specifically so including his minions seems like a key variable.
Well as Sage explained to Piggot we have an engine worked out. Let's work on a battery prototype. I realize that larger batteries will hold more mana, but for a portable phone... let's start with an AA battery, something that can be removed for later recharging. Taylor can ship batteries to Lisa (and future allies) via bird-delivery if she ever needs to hunker down for safety reasons.

We need to fix our hands, likely by replacing the damaged sections. Numbing and removing bits sounds messy, possibly traumatic, and dangerous if we slip in our numbed state. We know the flesh is still alive, and that what we have now cant simply undo it. But what about new types? These are ideas for a sort of "Molt" type that heals a target by decaying and replacing flesh in the same moment. It might be a start.

We know the flesh is still alive, and that what we have now cant simply undo it. But what about new types? These are ideas for a sort of "Molt" type that heals a target by decaying and replacing flesh in the same moment. It might be a start.

Also, hard no to selling all that random crap we haven't properly tested or made. Most of that stuff will revert, or die, or might be dangerous.
Solar Sand, iirc is not even a material. We would need to at least have a shelf life for that stuff longer then 12 hours.
