Combinatorial Explosion (Worm/Original)

with some of the result of the test this turn it hink we could feasibly make a concept inseting/extracting and storing machine
i mean we have magical circuit board dehybridize to stabilise the mana/concept and syply use a lot of worth to have a better craftmanship of the machine maybe using worth from Lego to have modularity and for the will use the psychosite
[x][alchemy] can worth from lego transfert modularity and compatiblyty to the target?

[x][Something Else] Give her a hug dumbass! Tell she could come over to your "Lab" sometimes and play with the plants if she wants?

[X][Author's Note] My favorite tests I'd say are the True Paper and Paper set bonus ones. Recovery Gel and Psychocite are also pretty huge, and Uncanny is also highly intriguing, if it doesn't come up in the way of my Prison suggestion. Realy like Emerald Cultivation and Avian Mutandis Creation and as well but in a less "absolutely need their own scenes" way.

[X][Something Else] (Offer support. Maybe don't let on to hard that we can just GIVE our power to others, and DEFINETLY do not imply we want to use our power to mutate her, but "I mean, if you ever did want to do something else, I could always make you some tools or something?" would work. If we kickstart a mana engine and some tools for her, she could do all kinds of things.)

[X][Prison] Visit during the night. I'll control a summoned being to act as my mouthpiece. Mana is so cleverly useful when it comes to slipping through solid material, after all.
-[X][Prison] Rather than just build a body from parts manually this time, since you're making a duplicate use Zirconium chains which is perfectly made for that. "False Idol" is good, and "Mimic". You might also want to involve eye and glass manas if you want it to be just a hologram rather than solid, or cast iron if not. You should probably also use eye manas in it's eyes so you can actually see what's going on better, and Eldrich Relay so that you don't *have* to strain your willpower as much to keep control. Another trick you can try is to use the True Set mana of your suit with it's full Set Bonus and the way it can make a duplicate of itself, pull that out and atune it to Thaum *after* that, and then add it to the avatar to use as blueprint data. Also, use some vibrato stone mana on the voicebox of the avatar to better disguise your voice, and test this beforehand.
--[X][Prison] The above should give you the most faithful copy of yourself, but if you're instead going for interrogation impact it might help to add a sort of aura or internal reservoir that can be released into the environment of "Heavy Thoughts", "Forgotten Memories", "Ambient Noise", "Soulshaking Dirge", "Deja Vu", "Spirit Pressure", "Remembered Days", "Northern Wind", "Rethink", "Blurt", "Spirit Fog", "Verdant", and simply raw Arcane.
--[X][Prison] you might also want to see how "Giggling Shade" interacts with this.

Responses to other commenters:
I'm far too tempted to combine the whole void-series of experiments with the eldritch horror elements of the last few chapters. Taylor is on the best way to create a soul-devouring hellportal or the Necronomicon.

I'd love to sell this to the PRT. What makes me hesitate: 1) Can the waste-rubber be safely disposed off? Is it made of normal atoms or is it some exotic matter that would need to be safely stored forever? 2) How high are the chances of others figuring out magic because of it? 3) How long does it last? Can Taylor create containers that let people store it for a while before using it?
Yes please to all these!

Also, that "dump gravity into the void" mutation really suits some of my ideas. Organic hoverbikes would be EASY.
Oooh love this idea, have a bunch of further details I can add to how exactly to do it!

This is a great test but I'm pretty sure we can't submit them for the current update, so please remember to re-submit it for another update!

Speaking of the government: What is the thread's opinion on gathering a couple of Taylor's less horror-themed materials and gifting them to Armsmaster with an offer to sell him more of any of them if he wants them. I'm thinking about stuff like the self-repairing time-attuned material, the metal which grows stronger in adverse conditions and the healing gel here.

That's a good idea except we should *sell* it to him rather than just give it away unless he has a *really* good argument for why it's necessary for helping the public AND nobody is going to pay for it.

Well, the healing gel we should probably give out, but only for actual use in healing for stuff like endbringer battles, if *armsmaster* ands some, for studying and tinkering with, you need money.

the thing is even if it's created by magic if the gel stay active without magic it may be replicable without magic that would be agood thing on a global scale even if it would lesser our revenus

Honestly just off the top of my head is panacea didn't want to heal anymore she could go into research, even if it was just with her stated powers, being able to know the state of an organism at a cellular level instantly would be pretty useful. Failing that being a living lie detector would also probably work.

Im curious what Taylor's thoughts on the Sceance Powder result is as well.

In regards to giving magic stuff to the PRT, we may want to make mini mana engines first, since, you know, most of the cool stuff worth selling or giving needs it.

We also need to keep in mind normies can't use true attunement, so they can't use timeshift crystal to auto repair.
Something like Pandor however seems VERY useful for the PRT, if we could get small enough power supplies to install into the equipment, or get the equipment to hold charges long enough for them to only need charging in a room at night.

the prison thing i'm not sure the warden would let us use our power on the inmate
Fairly sure vote for a magical construct implies breaking into the prison instead of asking for permission. If that is not you intention, you might to specify that in your vote.

I intended it as a free sample both to let him do his own risk assessment and to get him hooked for more. Minimal effort on Taylor's part while also providing some good PR.

Ideally, I'd want Taylor to go around healing people in person for free (or switch to the 1$ rate if she convinces Panacea of that) and then gain money by selling useful material including healing gel to others.

Of course I'd also let people commission her healing services if they are willing to come to Brockton Bay for it.

We're not using it on the inmate we're just using it to project an image of ourselves so we can stay far away. And because it can phase through walls but we might not need that. Also is projecting a hologram with no physical presence really breaking and entering, since you're not breaking anything, and you're still far away so you're not entering?

The free sample idea is valid, just make sure it's a SMALL amount.

On the commision thing, another option is to offer really expensive optional stuff like cosmetic surgery or ones were a mundane treatment works fine but involves a long and painful recovery while we can do it instantly, while keeping the life-saving ones free.

IodineThaum > Brain > IodineMemory GameLiquidThis mana recovers damaged memories.
Meeting with Faultlines Crew when? ;)

[x][Something Else] Bring up the fact that her power consists of two factors; healing and scanning organisms.
[x][Something Else] Bring up all the useful applications of the scanning of organisms and how she could use that part of her power to help with research in all manner of biological studies, like advancing the field of genetic modification by helping provide deeper insight to effects of said modification.
[x][Something Else]Mention how much money she could make off of such consultations.
[x][Something Else] offer to make a symbiotic set of plants that she could analyze if it interests her.

I really doubt this is a good moment for a hug, and a hug is probably the last thing Amy needs, not to mention that I don't think Taylor is close enough that an awkward hug would help. Pointing out what she could do outside of healing might be better.

"What the hell!" I shouted, gripping my head at the familiar pain of my power bitching for some ungodly reason.
[Same question from this end host, you were supposed to make it easier, not cause more mess! Please stahp!]

[X][Something Else] Pharmaceutics, duh. If she's so hellbent on being most efficient as a hero, like some Halbeard fangirl, she should've know that inventors of penicillin saved far more lives than any practicing doctor can ever dream.

I'm pretty sure Taylor thinks Amy's power is just healing as opposed to biokinesis, so this might be a bit of a stretch.

[X][Something Else] Is there something else you want to be able to do? I am kinda a tinker and I wouldn't mind making something for a friend. I could probably figure out how to make something to synergize with your healing ability too...
I think we should push towards working with Amy outside of just healing, and building her a tool which works with her powers would be a fun friendship building project (or heck, Taylor could probably even make wings that let someone fly seeing as how the Thoth projection turned out).

-[X][Prison] Take your time to cover your trail. Use Arcane spells as necessary (see Invisibility below). Load up the mana construct with various mana types you might need (e.g. Brain, Eye, Zirconium, Copper, Silicon, Aluminum to absorb/void leaking mana if necessary) or an Eldritch Relay (if it allows more mana to be added to the construct). If the prisoner(s) are uncooperative, bringing something of Emma's might help in magically reading the relevant memories.
A remotely operated mana construct is probably the best way here. No reason to let everyone know that Sage is interested in specific criminals if at all possible, though admittedly the stealthy approach will backfire more if we do get caught. Including Aluminum mana should allow Taylor to absorb or even void any magic the leaks so that nothing is left behind except memories. Depending on how angry she gets afterwards, maybe not even those... (e.g. Thaum > Brain > Chromium for a thought scour, focused with salt or copper on recent things. Or use alcohol mana to just make memories unstable)

I do want to see the results of brain and eye mana on the Corona Pollentia, though I suspect that will be shown in story when it happens. Otherwise, since the Cadmium test fell through, I am curious about testing Sulfur on magic materials since that specifies value (and magic materials are one-of-a-kind on Earth Bet) rather than craftsmanship.

I think next planning phase, we should test various Pandor transmutations.
Maybe we can find a good, easy to mass produce form?

We should also consider taking some Pandor powder to a metalworking plant or blacksmith and seeing what happens if you alloy pandor with other metals.

Im sure the PRT would love Pandor, since it could let them compete against high power parahumans like lung. Of course, Pandor may also be effective against us, so we should be careful of that.

Edit: Question. Why do we want to sneak in to the prison? Im not really sure what that gets us over, say, walking in and saying we want to speak with the guy.

The main reason is to preserve our secret identity as much as possible. (Sure the PRT likely has a good idea who Sage is at this point, but they likely don't have it written down.)
If we walk in and ask to meet a prisoner, the meeting will likely be recorded in some way and/or the prisoners will share what questions we asked them. Someone like Coil (although I don't think he is active at this time if he is even in the city), Kaiser or any number of groups would love to "recruit" a healer and that would give them a pretty good starting point to finding out who Taylor is.
I mainly voted for investigating the criminals in prison because I figured Sage would look into records for what they were convicted of, injuries they had, etc., which would be safer then trying to interrogate someone... But oh well, Taylor is probably skilled enough to pull of an infiltration at this point.
