Arc 1: Chapter 34

    • Your eyes wandered onto the medic desperately trying to heal the man you stabbed. You didn't quite know if the medic could succeed or not, but you weren't going to let that happen, gripping your kunai hard enough for your knuckles to turn white. As the busty woman and her partner turned their backs to your hiding spot, you rushed out, using the Body Flicker jutsu multiple times to reach the medic. You tackled them to the ground, revealing them to be a young man. His eyes were wide with fear and he tried to call out for help, but you jabbed your kunai into his exposed throat. He only made soft, hissing gurgles and blood poured from his neck. Normally you'd take the time to watch the life leave his eyes, but you had other fish to fry. You ripped the kunai out of the medic's throat and threw the gore covered tool at the man you stabbed before, deeply lodging it into his temple. No doubt a killing blow.

    The two shinobi who were trying to put out your flames finally noticed what happened and called out to their allies. The busty woman and her partner appeared in front of you, looking at the bodies of their comrades with shock and sorrow. "You monster!"

    You gazed smugly at the busty woman and snorted in laughter. "I am more than that, you pathetic human. I am the Nine Tailed Fox! I am the apex of demons! Every single one of you Leaf scum will burn in my hatred!"

    "Anko, we need more back up. That thing took kunai to the chest and it doesn't care! We need-" the shinobi next to the woman said, but Anko glared at her subordinate.

    "You three, get out of here. Make sure to tell the higher ups that the Nine Tails has come back. I'll subdue the beast." Anko commanded.

    "But-"

    "Follow orders! Besides, it hasn't done anything a chunin can't do, I'll be fine!" Anko firmly ordered. After some hesitation, the three other leaf shinobi left.

    "How brave, sacrificing your life to stop me! Although this changes nothing." you sneered. Anko said nothing and prepared her own kunai, getting ready for the battle ahead...

    What will you do?

    [] Rush at Anko, using your immortality to power through any attacks to land yours!

    [] Start things simple with a fireball and see how Anko reacts!

    [] Use Flaming Fists of Destruction and launch multiple fireballs at Anko!

    [] Back away and flood the area with a sea of flames!

    • You jumped backwards, making hand seals for your trusty Wrathful Fire Stream jutsu. Anko threw her kunai at you, to which you simply let stab into your torso as attempting to dodge or block it would mean you couldn't finish your hand seals. You landed on a higher rooftop and Anko grimaced as you inhaled deeply before spitting out a flood of flames that quickly engulfed the Leaf kunoichi! You sighed deeply when you finished the jutsu, your flames spreading even more rapidly than before. However in the middle of the flames was a large snake that was coiled tightly, but it soon went limp and was dead on the ground, revealing Anko.

    "H-How?! He had flame resistant scales..." Anko muttered, looking at her now dead summon in disbelief and sorrow.

    You didn't respond to Anko, basking in her realization of who she was fighting and began to make more seals. However Anko managed to make a set of seals slightly before you did. Your vision began to twist and distort, making you suddenly nauseous. You knew it was a genjutsu and tried to break it with a kai, but you felt multiple creatures suddenly bite into you! The pain broke the genjutsu, revealing that Anko had summoned more snakes from her sleeves and they coiled around your body, their fangs buried deep into your limbs to make sure you couldn't move.

    "This is the end, you freak!" Anko declared as she whipped her arm upwards, the snakes following her motion and sending you flying into the air! The snakes let go of you as Anko made more hand seals. "Fire Release: Great Fireball!"

    A large fireball erupted from her mouth, no doubt she put a bit more chakra into the jutsu than usual going by its size! You only had moments to spare, what will you do?

    [] Use Flaming Feet of Swiftness to jet out of the fireball's way! You're immortal, but that doesn't mean you want to see what happens when a jutsu hits you!

    [] Counter with your own Great Fireball! Teach Anko to folly of attempting to fight you with your own element!

    [] Rip the kunai out of your torso and throw it to the ground for substitution! If you're fast enough, you can attack Anko's blindspot!

    [] Take the attack head on. If this is Anko's best shot of defeating you, then you will take great joy in watching her despair as you rise back up!

    • Fire formed around your feet after you finished your hand seals, rocketing away from the encroaching fireball! The jutsu passed you by, hot enough that you could feel your skin prickle with pain. You adjusted your body and the flames shooting out of your feet doubled in strength as you poured more chakra into the jutsu! You flew at Anko with great speed, it would only take a few seconds to reach her! However she raised her arm and used that annoying summoning jutsu once more, sending out a multitude of snakes in an attempt to stop you! Fire erupted around your hands and just as the snakes were about to bite you, you aimed downward and sent out a powerful stream of fire that pushed you upwards!

    Anko could only look up towards you, trying to think of a way out of the situation she was in. You did one flip into the air, positioning your fire covered foot right above Anko! Using the momentum of the flip, you brought your leg down in an attempt to crush Anko's skull, but she moved backwards to dodge your deadly blow! While she managed to avoid the entire blow, you felt the heel of your footwear slam into Anko's forehead, brutally carving into her skin with the pure heat of the fire surrounding your limb! Your heel went downward, creating trailing wound that went down through her eye, her cheek, and then down the middle of her body.

    "Gahhhh!" Anko shrieked in pain as she fell to the ground, writhing and kicking out her limbs in a futile attempt to get over the agony she was feeling. You noticed your flames instantly cauterized her wounds, creating a long line of freshly burnt flesh that refused to bleed. Anko was hyperventilating as she looked at you, her left eye now destroyed and sealed shut due to her cauterized scar. You turned off your fire jutsu and walked over to Anko, a devilish grin plastered across your face.

    "You should have ran away. All your bravery got you was mutilation!" you boasted. To your annoyance, you saw Anko trying to make hand seals, but her injuries prevented her from doing it quickly. You swiftly kicked Anko in the face, sending her lying flat on the ground. You rapidly moved forward and stomped on one of Anko's hands, making sure to grind your heel as hard as you could. The pleasing smell of the flames surrounded your and the intoxicating sounds of snapping bones filled your senses as Anko weakly cried out, trying to pull her now ruined hand away from you.

    She was in your grasp now. What will you do?

    [] Burn out Anko's other eye. Make sure the last thing she'll ever see is your monstrous power!

    [] Reduce Anko to ash with a fire jutsu! She deserves to burn in the eternal flames for trying to stop your revenge!

    [] Kill Anko with your bare hands. Fire is all well and good, but there's nothing that beats the rush of watching the life vanish from a human's eyes!

    [] You wasted too much time with Anko, kill her with a kunai and continue your revenge against the Leaf!

    • Looking at the suffering Anko, you decided to end it quickly. You had other places to be and more flames to spread, besides that underling she had with her would no doubt come back with reinforcements soon. You pulled out one of your kunai and threw it at Anko, the tool was now buried deep into her forehead. Anko shuddered for a moment before going still. You turned around and used the body flicker jutsu to leave the area as Anko's body was consumed by the flames...

    You didn't know how long it had been since your fight with Anko. You were completely entranced into a state of violence, sadism, and overwhelming joy. You were burning down buildings, sniping innocent civilians, battling your way through various weakling Leaf shinobi. A mere whisper of rational thought told you that the stronger Leaf ninja were probably dealing with other threats, but you wouldn't have it any other way. You were finally and truly having your sweet vengeance!

    However you were snapped out of your blissful state by two words. "Lady Hinata?!"

    With your Byakugan, you saw who was calling out to you. It was the Hyuga boy from the Chunin Exams. You turned to face him properly. He was wearing fresh bandages on his limbs and a simple black shirt and shorts due to his previous clothes being damaged by that one Sand genin. His usually stoic face was now one of utter confusion, a gamut of emotions running through his mind.

    "Who are you?" you coldly asked. You could feel an odd pang of emotion. Clearly this was someone your vessel knew in her previous life.

    "N-Neji..." he answered, his body trembling. "I...Lord Hiashi told me you passed away from illness!"

    "Why would I pass away from illness? I am beyond such mortal weaknesses!" you exclaimed, baring your teeth at Neji.

    "Hinata, what happened to you?" Neji asked, clearly lost on this entire situation. It was then you realized that Neji thought you were still Hinata. Your thoughts paused for a moment. You remembered that Hinata promised to teach you the Gentle Fist if you figured out the reasoning behind her fate, you could manipulate this boy into telling you were the Hyuga Estate was. On the other hand, you were doing just fine in battles without some fancy taijutsu style.

    What will you do?

    [] Tell Neji that you are not Hinata, and the body you have is just your vessel until you can regain your power.

    [] Tell Neji that you are Hinata, and that Hiashi imprisoned you, and you're looking for answers.

    [] Threaten Neji to stay away from you unless he wishes to die horribly, all while releasing your killing intent.

    [] These emotions you're feeling are infuriating you! Snuff them out by killing Neji!
