But the existence of the "you" that you believe in is so tenuous - Shin Megami Tensei/Persona General

When you canvas a larger portion of the audience you tend to find that a larger number of people don't really care about dual audio. I think that's a pity, because the voice cast in Japanese owns. And I mean, Tales of Zestiria had dual audio, Finnal Fantasy Type-0 HD has dual audio, I was able to get dual audio for Lightning Returns, there's soft confirmation for dual audio in FFXV, #FE (I realise I'm still probably the only person in the universe who still wants to play this) doesn't even have a dub, thankfully. But Persona 5, even more anime powered than a modern Tales game? Nope!

Nah, you aren't. There were some people in the other fórum I go to who still wanted to play it. And Siliconera is filled with people in it bitching about "the censorship".

The jp site has new stuff about cooperation aka what look like social links. It also shows who is the Hierophant, Hanged Man and Temperance/Death(I have trouble telling. The number looks like XIV, but the artwork looks like Death) alongside the new Tarot artwork.

The Hierophant: Sojiro Sakura

The Hanged Man: Munehisa Iwai

The Temperance/Death: Tae Takemi

More combat details here.

It also looks like Arsene's first skill is a dark type move, so it looks like they're bringing back old damage dealing Light and Dark spells instead of them being just insta-kill.

New Famitsu article:

Dammnit Anne, there will ever be a time when you are not bending over? :V

Btw, I took a look at Sojiro Sakura's last name kanjis and then they are the same as Futaba Sakura's.
So I guess it can be safely assumed they are father and daughter.

Heloooooo nurse!

Well, ain't that a tonne of stylin' an' info.

Still wrapping my head around the gameplay footage because as a friend of mine put it, "That style's so far lived up to the hype that the trailers gave it". I mean, the menus, locations, animations, battles, dungeon mechanics...the works.

Dub, Sub, Dual Audio, whatnot, I honestly don't care, as long as they nail the characters and story, because right now, the game and music are definitely right up there.

Here's what appears to be the first 18 minutes of the game:

It includes character naming and difficulty selection. This also means I need to go dark until February. I don't want this spoiled for me like with P4.

They've also added new cooperation characters on their website here:

The one that have been added are:
The Wheel of Fortune
The Devil
The Temperance
The Tower
The Star
The Moon
The Sun.

...Was that Persona-summoning in reality in that first bit, or am I misinterpreting things?

Synopsis of said trailer.
The MC defends a woman from a sexual assualt and attacks the assailant. After being put on probation, he is sent to Shibuya to live with Sojiro.

He arrives in April. 6 months later, he performs a heist on the Casino in November.

A comrade betrays him, resulting in him getting caught by authorities while performing the heist.

The MC is drugged and charged with murdur, libel, threat to authorities and manufacturing lethal weapons (murder alone is punishable with the death penalty in Japan).

Sae Niijima (Makato's sister), who works for the district prosecutor's office (specifically the special investigation department), is trying to help the MC, but given his current situation, she is likely unable to do anything.

The Velvet Room gives him a second chance and shows him this future in a day dream. He wakes up on the train, at the time he just moved into Shibuya (6 months prior to being captured). This scene is referenced in the tagline "Steal back your future" and when stated that he is a "prisoner of fate".
So basically, we Bad Ended and went to an early New Game +.

"Do you wanna do this the Easy or the Hard way?" (paraphrased)

Difficulty Options appear.

*MC is passed a clipboard to fill his name in*

Name Entry.

That is some nice design.

Well. That was some heavy shit.

Edit:
