You very awkwardly sidled over towards Angel. The vampire shot you an awkward look of his own, clearly as uncomfortable about your attempt to approach and speak to him as you felt. "So. Wanna tell me why Giles thought you wouldn't be a good partner for renaissance?" You knew why you thought Angel was a bad partner, but it had certainly never stopped anyone else from accepting Angel's erratic help before.
"Maybe because Spike and Drusilla targeted me before. No reason to give them a possible chance at more sire's blood," Angel said awkwardly.
"Right. Because you helped create those two." A fantastic reminder that the world was in danger because of the choices this guy had made. Angel looked deeply guilty at your words, but you only felt disgust. You still weren't buying that Angel was that different from other vampires. You made your way back over to Amy and Willow.
Giles and Buffy returned looking in rough shape, and you rushed over to help Giles. Ms Calendar was immediately on the case leading everyone on how to take care of things. "The Judge...he's awake," Giles groaned.
"It's alright, we're gonna deal with it," Ms Calendar promised worriedly.
You stayed late that night, trying to think of what to use on the Judge. Perhaps several grenades would work to tear him apart with the force of the explosion. A rocket launcher would sure be nice. But where would you even get such a weapon?

You ran into Cordelia the next day at school. Cordelia frowned looking at you. "What's the rush?"
"Demon problem, you know." You glanced at her and grinned. "We've got ideas to fix it."
Cordelia immediately shifted to follow after you. "Seriously? Well I better come and make sure you dorks don't mess up."
"Because knowledge of high school gossip will be so useful," you shot back teasingly.
"As if that's all I bring," Cordelia scoffed. You smiled at her and turned back to talk to everyone else about your plans for taking out the Judge. Buffy was surprisingly late to turn up. She may not be enthusiastic about being the Slayer but she was always around for the big stuff.
It was a rather confused Buffy who entered the library. "Has anyone seen Angel?"
"No, why? Did something happen?" Willow asked anxiously.
"I...he walked me home last night, I haven't seen him since," Buffy said.
"You don't think he tried to go after Spike and Drusilla alone, do you?" Willow fretted
"He's not one for direct fighting," you pointed out quickly. "Not without Buffy there."
"He might be scouting," Amy suggested.
This was a problem. Buffy was clearly distracted by Angel being missing, and was itching to go look for him. He was a decent ally in a big fight like now, but how much time could you waste on him instead of Angel?
