Just catching up, but I noticed a typo here. It's spelt 'halp'.QM Note - Angron will not refuse this gift. Partly this is because he thinks he knows enough to make this deal safely (say 'thank you, Magnus'), and partly because if you refuse the secret then Tchar will find some other way to 'help' you. Darth Traya: "In this 20000 word video essay I will..."
Undercutting is definitely one way to phrase it! Angron might prefer 'limiting' though. I mean, honestly, should the Warmaster be able to prevent the civil administration from sanctioning a Legion that is blowing up Imperium worlds? The biggest problems that I see with approaching Malcador -- bearing in mind that I am still voting for it -- are
1: It involves directly undercutting Horus' authority in 'matters martial' about 20 minutes after he got done using it for the first time.
2: While Malcador has a fair bit of reason to want the Night Haunter gone, he doesn't necessarily need it done now -- and if Big E's plans do eventually involve a transfer of power to a civilian administration, he'll likely know that and be aware that he'll get his chance eventually. That gives him a leg up in negotiations, insofar as he's more willing to wait than we are, and may get what he wants in the end regardless. To that end, he'll probably try to use this as an opportunity to conserve his assets (which would have been used to hunt down Curze anyway), reduce our assets, and gather some nice blackmail information on Angron and Corax.
He'll probably still help, though.
Nah Alpharius is generally ambivalent towards Angron, the vote with him as an enemy had a lot of steam but it didn't actually win in the end. Malcador, canonically, does not actually hold personal grudges against the Primarchs — he just kinda shrugs off Mortarion trying to throttle him and Lorgar punching him like twenty metres through the air. For all of his many, many, many faults, dude is not possessed of a fragile ego. If he comes after Angron (and unless we can get him and the Emperor a divorce, he eventually will), it's for largely impersonal reasons.[X] Yes

-[X] Suggest tactics and allies (Vulkan) Your brother has always been the most humane, that much is obvious to anyone whose met him, given the loyalty between us and no love lost over the Eighths tactics it would be an easy thing to convince the Dragon to face the Night haunter. Upon gathering the three legions suggest a form of bait to bring the most of the Nightlords to bear in one system, then use the combined might of your legions and brothers to bring down Konrads bastard sons and kill their father

I'm voting for it because I like both the Sigillite and Alpharius, but I must remind peeps that they're both our enemies, or atleast aligned against our interests. Our history of animosity with them likely means they will never be our allies, so any attempts to curry favor is probs doomed.
My view on this— and it's a fair point to raise — is that Corax is wily enough to see the political outcome here for what it is, and when it comes to Malcador and Horus his perspective will be "When I see a devil and a monster do battle, as a man I must pray that they both die."Ultimately I'm happy to see wherever this goes.

-[x] Suggest tactics and allies: we're Angron. Don't overthink this. Approach Konrad's compound and wreck his shit. Corax will take care of stragglers, intelligence and opsec.
One thing I would like to say though, is that Corax would probably be opposed to bringing in Malcador for similar reasons to why he'd be opposed to bringing in Horus; these are the people who used his legion as the space CIA and made butchers out of his sons.
