Also, I definitely see why he couldn't really teach Zanjutsu techniques- besides not really knowing any himself, his sword is just completely different from her's. Though considering he manages to go from an over-sized katana, to a giant knife, to a thin nodachi... though that might be because he fights mostly by reflex and instinct.

This might be the first time I didn't change my vote after the previews. Still going with Hado. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this form of training.
Plus, hado is the thing we're bad at. If she gets good at it, she'll finally have something to be proud of.
If we both get ok at kaido, it won't really be a source of pride for her, since we are at the same level for this but much better at other things.
