People want to interact with Rukia and Ikkaku, and if we do lose, it'll push Ichigo to train even harder.

I know that i just dislike those who chose it sorely because they think that they'll win because they think rukia is an easy target

We called Rukia tiny, so that's one button pushed. Ichigo will underestimate her and get punted through a wall. I'm in it for the glorious aftermath.

Or at least, that's what would have happened if people weren't so concerned with silly things like "friendship" and "kindness" and "not being a reckless moron."

Ichigo/Rukia was the most popular OTP in the fandom for the longest time. If you didn't ship him with Orihime, Rukia was the most likely secondary option.

Yes assuming a quest based on a shonen manga runs on shonen rules is such a tragic line of thought. I mean you don't read fanfiction based on the original source and except the same thematic themes as the source material.

It's almost like the QM told everyone that relying on Shonen powerups and canon knowledge of the aforementioned power ups was stupid as the quest doesn't run on shonen logic
