If she gets any bigger, then she might be better of with a SSD or so.
A nBSG FTL drive is short range, ad a Macross/Robotech FTL drive to it and...
Funny thing, Star Trek Voyager has a Fold-drive that does the same thing, so it is Warp field related.
Would a couple of dimensions where the SI only has access to her Mental Model, be something?
Sure, she can build things and store it in a subspace pocket, as long as she uses local tech for this build.
I did plan on having Fold FTL from Macross when I once planned and utterly failed in doing so.
The nBSG FTL drive you talked about, I looked it up and what I saw was candy to my eyes. I'd use it for tactical maneuvers. Seriously it's like Blink.
Speaking of Blink. I totally forgot that my SI had that.
Another thing, about FOG nanomachines, they are what I call 'perfected nanomachines', they could seriously build ANYTHING as long as they've got the blueprints. And the series didn't give justice to this.
EDIT: Except for a few exotic stuffs of course, like the USY2199 Wave-Motion Core.
I look around trying to find out where I ended up. There's the Sun, Mercury, Venus… wait… Oh, look what I found, Earth. Though there was a problem… This Earth is wasted. Like Mars… It's nearly dead. Large portions of the planet is irradiated as was shown in my sensors and l'm receiving distress signals in Luna.
I sent out subtle scans as far and as wide as I can, thankfully I spotted something, unfortunately what I saw made me face-palmed. Palms meet Face, Face meet Palms.
It was a ship. It was red, it has Japanese characters on its sides, it has curves, its undersides were white, the turrets didn't have any barrels, and it was escorted by other ships of the same or similar design aesthetics.
It's got the letters 'UNCN' written on its armors, it's an abbreviation for 'United Nations Cosmo Navy'. God damn it ROB, y u do dis?
[Message from Admiralty Code received.] What now ROB. ('- _ -)
[Objectives received.]
[Objectives are: 1. Protection of Earth. 2. Defeat the Garmilas Empire.]
[Operation Restrictions: 1. Do not leave the Sol System.]
…What? You serious? Shit.
Hm… Objective 1 says I need to protect Earth. That means prevent the destruction of Earth the planet itself right? So that means it doesn't matter what happens to the people as long as Earth is intact. Another thing is that the Planet needs to be 'alive' it doesn't matter if it's irradiated or not as long as the 'heart' or the core of the planet lives. Yeah I'm going to interpret Objective 1 as that.
Objective 2 is to defeat the Garmilas Empire… and with the restriction of not being able to leave Sol makes it outright impossible… at least directly anyway. Actually since I use Quantum Communications, I can just leave my Mental Model, Fuji and Baikal here at Sol and make then take a fleet or two and use it to smack Garmilas in the face. Technically I am NOT leaving Earth, so this will work.
By the way, ROB since you're giving me objectives, this means that I'll get rewards right?
[Communications from Admiralty Code]
[Admiralty Code: No.]
What? Why?
[Admiralty Code: You mentioned that you wanted Yamato's blueprints of the Wave Motion Core, Wave Motion Engine and the Wave Motion Cannon.]
[End of Communications. Closing]
…Oh! Yeah I forgot about that.
….Ok how to best do this. Okay! I've decided, first find the base constructing the Yamato.
Under stealth I scanned all over Earth and eventually found my target wreck. Let's see… Ahh, found one, a UN listening/watch post.
I wormed my way electronically and made my way towards the base's network, I made a search and found another network nearby that I can connect to, I entered it and another and another until I reached the Base overseeing Yamato's construction. As expected it was not complete, but it didn't matter, their blueprints, all the Wave Motion-tech are digitalized so I discreetly download a copy of the blueprints. Eventually the download completed and found a problem, the Wave-Motion Core cannot be replicated without the real thing.
…Oh. The core is already nearby anyway. I fabricated a rock and added ablative properties on it, I emptied the rock's insides and filled it with a tightly packed nanomachine container, small high-power battery and a quantum trans-receiver. I then send the rock on top of the UN base, of course I made it look like every bit natural, even the trajectory it took, all look natural.
Eventually the rock crashed right beside the wreck camouflage and I send a quantum signal towards the rock, it responded and activated the container and the nanomachines inside. The signal I sent were a series of complex commands which basically says 'Find the Yamato-wreck nearby, discreetly scan the Wave-Motion Core atom-by-atom, send data back to container'. Then the container, once receiving the package will send the data back to me.
If blueprints can't make a replica of the Wave-Motion Core then a direct copy of one atom-per-atom would. All that's left is to wait.
Meanwhile I started to design my new space force, I have now decided that it's better to split my orbital navy from the sea navy. I'd keep the 3 DDX102s though.
HWDD-101 – 101-Class Destroyer
Progenitor Shields
Hyperspace Drive
Warp Drive
Sensors Package
Stealth Systems
Now that I've split my Sea and Orbital Navies, I ordered my Fabricators to build 30 101-Class and 15 201-class of ships. With this I now have my own Orbital Fleet. A FOG Orbital Fleet.
And since I used Homeworld ship-designs, I had them designed and built with proper scale, this means that Capital Ships like Cruisers, Battleships and Carriers are big, like a kilometer or two big. Which also means that my destroyers, which are hundreds of meters in scale, are going to be bigger than UNCN and Garmillas ships. Yeah I bet both sides won't be happy to know that.
I then proceeded to find the previously spotted UN Cosmo Navy and contacted them. After a few minutes of waiting, of which an argument possibly took place within the Cosmo Navy they finally picked the phone up and answered. And as expected it was Okita Juzou, since the Kirishima was among the UNCN fleet.
"Ahh.. Finally you Earthlings picked up. It was getting boring waiting for you fleshy meat-bags."
"This is the United Nations of Earth's Cosmo Navy Admiral Okita Juzou. We have granted your request for communications, what is the purpose of this call." Oh. Straight to business I see.
"You see, my 'benefactor' wishes for me to keep your planet alive, so I'll keep it straight to the point as you'd probably like, I would like to form an Alliance, A temporary defensive alliance with you, Earthlings, and Me, against the Garmillas Empire, our common enemy."
As soon as I said that they were wide-eyes shock, they were fighting against Aliens for a long time now and then suddenly another Alien initiated first contact with them and wanted to form an Alliance, albeit a temporary one.
The Admiral quickly regained his senses and said that he would like to bring this talk up to his superiors, I knew why but I decided to ask why anyway.
"It's because I am not in any position to make such decisions." He said, then added: "If we were to contact you where or how would we do that?"
I responded by saying that 'I'll have my Mothership stay in orbit of your planet's moon and wait there.' And so I did just that. I took Baikal and parked in Luna's Orbit. Of course, like any other being, they were alarmed to have spotted a 3.4 kilometer long ship to the point that they actually dispatch a combat fleet only to know that it was I LORD ADMIRAL RAZGRIZ THE GRE-*Ehem*
Sorry. Just lost myself for a moment there. Anyways they spotted me and I identified myself, they didn't go back oh no, Instead they waited there. I almost pity the people in those ships that watched me, they were probably scared shitless. Hehe.
After a while the UNCN sent me a message that they want to negotiate the treaty in detail and that they wanted to meet me in person. I agreed on the condition that the negotiations takes place in space and that they could send in their whole fleet or whatever they want as long as they don't touch or scan my ship, not that they'll be able to even if I let them. They agreed on my condition and the negotiations were to take place on the moon inside Kirishima.
After finally arriving, their ships, delegates and the UN federal president, I finally showed myself towards them. My Mental Model of course, and boarded the Kirishima by again, walking towards the ship.
And as always they were shocked and surprise that the Alien that boarded their ship is a human, or at least looked like a human.
At the 'luxury room' where the negotiations where to be conducted, I finally met the people I needed to meet in person. I greeted them and they greeted back, then we sat and began the negotiations, or so I thought it'd be the case.
"Excuse me I have to say, I didn't quite expect a humanoid, a beautiful human and a young looking one by our standards, were the leader of such powerful navy." The Federal President started.
Oh… Wanna play that game eh? How about no.
"Thank you for the complement but I'm probably older than all humans in this vessel combined. Also I may look like Human in appearance but rest assured that I am quite different on the inside." I replied as I smiled.
They were, yet again, shocked to find out that I am older than all of them combined. Of course that's a big lie. Or is it? Honestly speaking I don't know, for all I know ROB made me probably long ago and just activated me recently through that mail or I may be a new born, recently acquired by copying the original me or something. But I went with the FOG background story of being created pre-WW2 and only activated recently.
"I-I see. Anyway it is quite nice to have finally met you, now then is there anything you would like to ask before we begin?" Hehe.
"Nothing, Let's begin shall we?" I asked them. And once they nodded I continued. "As I have stated earlier, My "Benefactor" wanted me to keep Earth alive at any cost no matter the method, so I opted to contact you Earthlings to make a temporary treaty against our common enemy, the Garmillas Empire."
And here's when the real 'negotiations' start. I'll be as hard as steel, or my Cydonium Alloy.
"We would like to know about your benefactor if possible."
"I can't tell you that, not that I couldn't but I don't want to." Not happening bruh.
"And why is that?"
"Because I don't want to."
Technically I'm speaking of the truth. No one speaks of ROBs to others but only among SIs, those who spoke of ROBs to other beings whom are not Sis themselves usually ends up in very deadly situations of which some survives and others don't.
"Oh and another thing," I stopped them before they speak. "Again, like I said earlier, I don't care whatever happens to you meat-bags as long as the planet lives, that means if you don't ally with me then you're my enemy and I shall end you like what I did to many of my foes."
I narrowed my eyes and made it glow, thanks to my cat-like Iris and the glowing effects, some were visibly scared and some narrowed their eyes back and subtly shifted their bodies into combat positions.
The Delegates and the President were visibly scared and someone actually had sweat drifted from their head. As a response their President also narrowed his eyes on me and spoke.
"Then what you're offering isn't an offer but a threat. This is not how we do negotiations here."
"I know, Mr. President, that's why I gave you a chance, not to survive but to live. All you need to do is agree to my temporary alliance and you don't have to live in fear as the Earth will NEVER be attacked under my watch."
"You spoke of temporary alliance, does this mean that if when the war, our war against the Garmillas, you will be hostile to us?"
"No. I have no reason in doing so, as long as you don't create one."
"I see. Then post-war we shall be neither allies nor enemies but neutral parties then."
"Yes. I am also aware of the fact that the Iscandar Queen decided to help you out and the fact that her sister died in doing so." And the bombshell has been dropped.
I love seeing shocked faces of people when their biggest secrets were revealed by someone utterly unknown to them.
"You knew?" And here comes the narrowing eyes again, from them of course.
"Yes, and I don't care whether you decide to take her help or not. My Objective just aligns with her providing help to you by removing the lethal radiation from the planet. Nothing more, nothing less."
"Does Queen Starsha know of this?"
"No she doesn't, she also doesn't know me so don't bother asking her about me."
"Then how did you know about this?"
"I was informed by my 'benefactor'." I lied. Pure utter lie.
"Does the Queen know of your 'benefactor'?"
"Probably not, who knows if she knew. Go ask her or something."
"What do you want to gain from this alliance of ours." There comes the real question.
"Fulfilling the wishes of my 'benefactors'."
"Why?"
"Don't ask me, ask my 'benefactor', I don't know what's my 'benefactor' is thinking anyway." Yeah who knows what ROBs are thinking anyway."
"The-" "Stop right there." I stopped him.
"Pardon me?" He raised his eyebrows while asking.
"Are we going to be allies or not? I want to get this done straight and quick. Say yes or no." I ordered them.
"Are you going to build bases inside our planet?" He ignored me, ignored me.
"No, I don't need to build bases anywhere in your planet or your solar system. Yes or No. Final chance." I finally glared them and pressured them.
I heard gulps from somewhere but I ignored it and kept my eyes focused on the President's eyes. Then he let out a sigh and finally said yes.
"Now that wasn't so hard wasn't it?" I smiled as I told them that.
Keep a look on your on & in, you tend to sometimes write in when it should be on and on when it should be in.
Like that moon part at the start, in the moon or on the moon?
Several chapters have this, watch them, please.
ps: No hull restrictions until the first meeting?
Shame that, just picture them wondering if somebody stole their blueprints or so...
Mmm, maybe leaving behind a gift?
A repair/upgrade nano-constructer module?
Ghostship. "Yamato has been destroyed in space, twenty years ago, only a few hull pieces are left drifting around, your navy is toast, who is going to save your day now?"
´Sir, un-identified ship detected on a intercept coarse.´ " Indenti...."
´Y..Ya..Yam...Yamato!!???´ "WHAT!!!!!"
"Now that we've said yes, what about the finer details of this alliance?"
"No worries" I told him. "You defend Earth Sphere of Influence and I'll defend the rest. Basically we have 2 different hierarchy, yours and mines, we both cooperate in defense of Earth, Though I do need to let you know that I may or may not participate in offensive operations led by your Forces if those operations will do nothing to contribute to my objective or if I deemed it unnecessary."
With that I stored my Mental Model in my D-Storage and took direct control of the Baikal, I then took my Mental Model out and made my appearance in the Baikal and made my leave as flashy as possible by hyperspacing with glittering colors and various effects and made my way towards the asteroid belt. Also I did leave a message saying 'I'll sign the papers afterwards, forward it to me next time we meet.' Though our next meeting won't be that long anyway.
I know I ran away from that negotiations, I know myself, I know I'll eventually get ensnared and get them to force me to give them something, so I stopped there, I'm not doing anything except the completion of my objectives.

As I took my fleet out I noticed one glaring mistake that made me want to smack my head. I've got no fighters, bombers and carriers! So I went ahead and designed and fabricated 5 carriers and converted all of my Shindens except for 100 into my new fighters and bombers.
…My FOG mentally must've considered that fighters are useless, which I'd say it was true if it weren't for the fact that I've got Elerium Shields and the much stronger Progenitor Shields.
As I deploy all my new ships I split them into 3 groups. The 1st group is the 'Battlegroup' which is composed of 10 Cruisers, 2 Carriers with its fighters and bombers complement and 10 Destroyers. This is my main fleet and their job is to take on enemy fleets head-on.
The 2nd group is the 'Assault-Recon Group' and they're composed of 15 Destroyers. Their job is to recon, assault or harass enemy bases or fleets. With just 15 DDs you'd normally think that they wouldn't be able to assault fleets or bases but that's where you're wrong. These guys' torpedos and missiles aren't your standard high-power plasma stuff. These are corrosive weapons, Thanatonium-tipped railgun spikes, Thanatonium-warheads for missiles and torpedos, Thanatonium everything. Hence they are the most expensive out of the 3 groups.
And lastly, the 3rd group is composed of 3 Carriers and 5 Destroyers, these are my Carrier group and their pretty lil' buggers are tasked to annoy, harass or bomb the shit out of everything.
With my fleet ready and organized I sent a declaration of war by hacking into the Garmillas' Pluto Base and finding every base, ship and every planet I could get my digital hands and force-sending them a message.
'I am Lord Admiral Ryven Razgriz, I am the Supreme Flagship of the Fleet of FOG and I hereby declare war on the Garmillas Empire. You can run but you cannot hide, I will bring your Empire's knees down and you will bow to me."
Simple and straight. And just like that, I am now officially at war with the Garmillas Empire.
++
I deployed the 1st Group to blockade and harass their Base as soon as the declaration of war began, yes I copied the Japanese tactic at Pearl Harbor but I won't end up like they did.
Based on what I remember about the series, there was supposed to be a continent with a Garmillas base somewhere in Jupiter, but I can't remember where exactly it is so I send my 2nd Group to scout Jupiter, its rings and moons.
I then sent the 3rd Group in between Earth and Mars as a reactionary force in-case the Garmillas did get past the blockade or they had a hidden fleet somewhere.
With all my groups in place I fabricated another 5 101-class Destroyers, 5 201-class Cruisers and 1 401-class Carrier, after deployment I grouped them as the 4th Group and send them out in nearby star systems, the job of this group is to encounter any hostiles and either destroy them or harass them.
As I sent the 4th group on their way I sent message towards the UNCN about my fleet deployment just in case. I then checked on the progress of Yamato and noticed that they're soon to finish, that means just like the series, they'll get attacked and force activating the Yamato. Gonna let that bit happen but as soon as the Yamato is activated I'll send my fleet to clean them up.
++
"How? How in the fucking hell I couldn't find it?! HOW?! IT WAS A FUCKING CONTINENT! A FLOATING GOD DAMN CONTINENT AND I COULDN'T FIND?! HOW THE FUCK CAN THE NOW ACTIVATED YAMATO FOUND IT AND I CAN'T!? I'VE SCOURING THE GOD DAMN JUPITER AND ITS FUCKING MOONS FOR WEEKS! GAH!"
I let out a sigh as I finish complaining to the nothingness of space. Anyway, I sent a message to the now activated Yamato and told them that if they want to leave they should leave now and l'll take care of the Pluto Base. Captain Okita Juzo who's commanding the Yamato that they would like to participate in the destruction of the Base. So I sent them my plan of attack which is basically me missile bombarding the entire planet just to find their base. They didn't like it and told me it was a waste of ammo, they're telling a FOG Ship, a FOG Supreme Flagship that ammo shouldn't be wasted.
I let out another sigh. I decided to let out stress by hacking the Garmillas Base and went full on Watch Dog on them. I had things explode randomly and violently. Later on when the Yamato landed on Pluto's Ice, the Garmillas finally had enough and ordered a retreat which only served to reveal their Base for me and the Yamato. I just watched the Yamato demolish the base and the retreating Garmillas.
With the Garmillas Inluence on Sol system gone, I had the 1st group go out of the system to find any Garmillas Fleet or Base.
++
My 4th group encountered a Garmillas Supply Fleet in Barnard's Star and is already engaging them. I watched the one-sided murder happing at the system.
As my Carrier released its swarm of fighters and bombers unto the poorly defended supply fleet, my Cruisers formed a wall of fire from the incoming enemy small crafts, then my Destroyers being destroyers, charged and torpedoed all of the enemy ships, most were taken out from the initial torpedo strike but it didn't end just there. My Cruisers whom now had a solid wall of fire, opened up on the enemy frigates and destroyers alike with their spinal-mounted cannon and utterly demolished them that they simply broke in half. The Garmilas Supply Fleet, upon losing their escorts, also lost their morale and started to flee, unfortunately for them my Fighters and Bombers already arrived at the scene and started to pick off any remaining Garmilas Ships that's still in service. And my Fleet, like the machines that they are, did not take any survivors and killed all of them.
That's weird, I did set them to not take any survivors but I did not set them to kill the remaining survivors. Better deal with that before something else happens, In fact I think I'll reset and fix their settings just in case.

3 Months have passed since Yamato left. The UN not being able to expand fast enough underground to provide their citizens' daily necessities, are now having problems with various scale numerous revolts, and words and even evidence of the UNCN allying with the another Alien, which is me by the way, have now started appearing. Ever since then I've been receiving various broadcast for help from the citizens. Though I do wonder why they tried to hide my existence and their unofficial temporary defense treaty with me.
It's also been 3 months since my last encounter with the Garmillas Fleet, Yamato's actions have finally started to shake the Garmillas Empire and they're now diverting more and more resources into hunting down Yamato.
In a fit of boredom, I decided to intervene with the Garmillas Civil War by diverting my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Groups onto Alteria, the homeworld of the rebels whom were to be killed off, all of them, due to one megalomaniac shit-stain. I decided that I'll not have any of that and engaged the General Domel. The blue-skin was good, like it was playing a game of chest against a computer, unfortunately for him I was better computer. And I've got superior tech.
++ Garmillas Fleet
General Domel's Flagship
The officer watching the long-range sensors noticed a sudden appearance of an unknown fleet, and as professional as he is, he delivered the information as concise as possible to the great General Domel.
"I see." Replies the General. "Have the 12th Destroyer Squadron harass them. Find out who they are and what are they sporing." The General barked his order and his men moved.
"Sir! Cruiser 431, 430, 399, and 398 has sunk!" A flash light lit from one of their cruisers nearby. "Cruiser 219 sunk!"
"What?! They could shoot us from that range?! Have the Battleships and any armored ships form a wall! Get the 12th Destroyer Squadron to retreat behind the armored ships! As soon as the Battleships formed a wall, have them advance while being assisted from the 12th, 11th destroyer squadrons and have the 21st Cruiser Division to assist them too!"
++ Razgriz
Nope… not gonna happen Domel. I had my 2nd Group perform a tactical warp jump at their rear which is filled with juicy carriers with only destroyers guarding them. Meanwhile I had the 1st, 3rd and 4th Group intensify their long-range barrage with railguns being fired at a fraction of the speed of light.
Once the 2nd Group completed their tactical warp, I had them immediately saturate the area with Thermonuclear Missiles to utterly demolish their fighter and bomber swarms who are having their little R&R session.
Unfortunately for me their destroyers reacted faster than I expected and returned fire, preventing me from completely destroying their carrier group. I had the 2nd Group do another tactical jump far behind their carriers and had them shoot the enemy at the back with another round of Thermonuclear Missiles assisted by Torpedoes carrying a small missile swarm.
The good General ordered a quarter of his fleet to assists the carriers, while having the rest of his fleet to fire and retreat. And me being sadistic as I am didn't give them time to regroup and I used the good General's tactics on the series. I had 40 fighters and 40 bombers do a tactical jump with a single combat carrier with them towards the 2nd group and assist them.
I then another 80 fighters and bombers and have them do a tactical jump towards the left and right flanks of their fleet.
The good General having been played out of his game was forced to sound a retreat to the nearest Garmillas Base.
With the battle of Alteria settled. I recovered the wrecks of theirs and mines and had them converted into nanomaterials.
[12000 Nanomaterials Gained.]
As I regrouped and had my Fleet return to Sol I couldn't help but keep thinking that I may have given the good General his ticket to wrecking the Yamato.
…Nah, it's the Yamato were talking about. It has plot-armor.
I finally received my first assignment after a few weeks after hacking my admission through judicious use of FOG E-War Suite. The assignment itself is fairly simple, a UFO has landed in an Australian settlement and we had to go clear out all the Aliens before sending in the recovery team.
Simple, for me that is. For my teammates though? They're feeling like this is their last day to live, which is true in hindsight since the Human-Alien death ratio is 7:10. Pretty damn high, combat in Xenonauts is even more gritty and deadlier than XCOMs.
The Black-Hawk finally reached the drop-zone and the co-pilot signaled us to prepare, my teammates final prayers were complete and they wore faces of determination. I for one was as normal as one could get, while smiling. Apparently, me smiling just before deployment was very creepy according to my teammates. Bah, I am looking forward in actually moving my body in a long, long time.
++
As we disembark, we, by 'we' I mean my teammates immediately went into cover and secured the LZ with their assault rifles, shotguns, light-machineguns and sniper rifles. I for one, had my 2 P90 SMGs holstered at my hip and drew an English-style Long Sword with a longer grip, rounded rectangular handle and ring pommel. Apparently Xenonauts Command will let you use any weapons as long as you beat all their instructors and veterans in combat. I demolished all of them.
We moved towards the town and saw the silhouette of an UFO scout ship. My teammates upon seeing the ship made gulping noise and decided to run towards various covers the town provides. An Alien shout made itself known to us, with that the signal for the Aliens to regroup began. I of course took this as a sign for me to begin. I licked my lips and told my allies that I'll split from them and move alone. I didn't wait for their response and shut the comms from command telling me to stop.
Who's going to stop when you tell them to stop?
A reptilian, a lizard Alien showed its figure to me and pointed its plasma rifle and fired at me. With the help of my time-dilation I ran ahead and drew my SMGs while I evaded the plasma fire with ease and as little movement as possible. I then made a roundhouse kick unto the lizard's face and knocked him down, I took this opening to aim my left SMG at him and unloaded a burst point-blank on his head and chest, the Lizard released a death throe as it died on the ground.
I then ran forward, into a house's walls and made a wall-run to its roof and spotted a blue-ish purple-ish Alien in light armor, he also aimed his rifle at me at fired, I then evaded it as before and jumped from house to house, evading fire as I went, finally reaching the Alien I slid down and fired my SMGs at the lightly armored Alien killing him instantly.
I then jumped down as I evade another plasma bolt coming from my right, as soon as I landed I made a roll to mitigate the momentum lost and made a zig-zag run towards the Alien in between the alley, I used the wall to jump up and from up I shot he Alien down with SMG bursts.
I then noticed another Alien come from behind and I jumped up, as I jump I holstered my SMGs and pulled the sword out and sliced the alien's head vertically as I landed. 3 Aliens down, another 6 more to go.
I ran away from the alley towards the UFO ship, as soon as I arrived at a 4-way crossing I saw my teammates taking cover from incoming plasma bolts, I took 0.3 seconds to think my next action then moved. I threw my sword into an Alien with a Plasma Pistol, then I took my holstered SMGs and fired the rest of its ammo at the Aliens, as soon as their suppressed my teammate with a reinforced shield moved forward, absorbing enemy fire on his shield as he go.
I then threw a grenade as I ran, nearing the sword I holstered my SMGs again and pulled the sword out, I crouched as I made a 360 turn and sliced another Lizardman and used his body as a shield from the grenade that went boom.
I then used the Lizardman's body again to absorb plasma bolts from the remaining 4 Aliens, I threw another grenade at them forcing the Aliens to stop firing and take cover or run away from the deadly fragmentation grenade. I used this chance throw the carcass away and took cover, I then reloaded my SMGs and as soon as the grenade exploded I made a sprint towards the aliens, I evaded another bolt by jumping and using one of the living Alien as a platform, I then unleashed a barraged of 5.7mm rounds at the platform and its buddy which makes that 2 dead alien and 2 live ones.
I then took another carcass as a shield then returned fire to an Alien, killing it as I shot it in the head. I then heard a particularly loud gunfire, I looked behind to see one of my teammates shot the last Alien dead with his sniper rifle. With that the mission is over and dropped the carcass.
…Debriefing is going to such a fun.

++
++
++

++ Garmillas Fleet
++ Razgriz
While Homeworld Interceptors and Bombers are really good looking like the HGN Interceptor and HGN Bomber. I did not want my fighters and bombers to be oversized, the HGN Interceptor/Bomber are big, like, really bigger than the F-15 fighters. Plus I did want to have a craft I can use planet-side or use a drop pod to drop 4 or 5 of thuse babies planet-side ala ODST style.
The UNE civilian riots got a lot worse that there's been constant 24/7 riot all over the underground cities. I actually saw the Kirishima with her lower frontal turret removed and turned into storage, she was sent to gather resources i.e. salvage from other lost ships.
Since Kirishima's captain who is also the only admiral left and is Okita's friend went out of her way to beg me to help which not only surprised me but the entire crew of Kirishima and possibly Kirishima herself if she had a Mental Model or a Kanmusu form. I was reluctant but his sincerity made me help him.
I designed and fabricated a kilometer long multipurpose support vessel which can fabricate logistics and supplies, vehicles and as well as transport armies over long distances, of course I took inspiration from Homeworld and used the HGN Crew transport design for this.
HWHGN-AT001 Barge-class Logistics and Transport Vessel
Propulsion: 1 large and 2 small Impulse Graviton Engines
With 4 of those fabricated and ready, I sent them out to various places with salvage-able ships and stuffs from former base of both the Garmillas and UNE here on Sol, and I had their fabricators produce Resource Controllers of the Hiigarans from Homeworld and used those to cut up parts and transport stuffs.
I also designed and fabricated 4 armed dedicated-stealth and surveillance vessels so I could watch Yamato to avoid being bored to death.
HWDD-102 102-Class Stealth Destroyer
Wave-Force Armor
Advance Stealth Systems
Advance Sensors and Surveillance Package
Progenitor Shields
Cydonium Alloy
Propulsion: 5 Impulse Graviton Engines and 6 Small Impulse Graviton Engines
I sent them out as soon as they were complete and out of the Pens.

Oh. Yamato just got her ass handed to her by the Garmillas Navy as was shown in the Battle of Carrell 163, Yamato took more damage than usual, she actually leaked some vital supplies in the first phase of the good General's ambush. Now Yamato, instead of going forward as the series shown, actually made random warps and random intervals as she tries to repair herself. I think I'm gonna lend them a hand.
I took one Barge-class from UNE support and salvage duty and hand my 1st Group rendezvous with it, I then had them made their way towards the Yamato who's still busy fixing herself up.
"Yamato, need a hand?" I smirked as I called them, after a few minutes of cheering in live-comms Kodai answered in the place of the Captain and accepted my offer, then he asked what is happening on Earth, how I found them and if I had a way of communicating to Earth at FTL-speed.
I told them what was happening to Earth, and said 'Yes I do have FTL-Communications, wanna use 'em?' Immediately a line was made towards the Yamato's Bridge and CIC rooms as soon as the Captain reported their mission status and people took turns to talk to their families.
As soon as the repairs were finished, they or rather, the Captain requested me if I wanted to come with them. I declined of course, when they asked I lied and told them that I was over-stretched as it is with so few ships and that I cannot spare any forces, and that the supplies they used came from Garmillas supply ships which I raided. Though I did use supplies salvaged from the Garmillas Pluto Base. Eventually I left and they too, continued their journey.
…Eventually I'll assist them in the Rainbow battle, my gut was telling me to do so and I shall trust my gut.
++
I encountered a battered Garmillas Flotilla on the way, obviously they were damaged and I took this chance to test my own Wave-Motion Cannon.
Since I already had the blueprint and I've got a ship that can fabricate and fit one inside her, I remodeled the front of the Barge-class and had it mounted a fabricated Wave-Motion Cannon and installed a fabricated Wave-Motion Core.
The result of the test was both pretty and deadly. As soon as the light faded from the Wave-Motion Cannon, the Garmillas flotilla was quite literally vaporized and the rest that weren't, exploded into hundreds of parts. I then send greetings to the Garmillas Empire as I did to the previous Garmillas fleets and flotillas I destroyed. I then watch their reactions for my amusement.
++
"Another! We just lost more ships from this damned 'FOG Fleet'! Hurry and find them then destroy them! We're already losing as fast as we replace them and its really straining our economy!"
The Emperor, raged on his subjects' reports and took his rarely-shown anger out on them. Just as planned. >
"One more! ONLY ONE MORE AND I'LL HAVE YOU EXECUTED FOR YOUR INCOMPETENCE AT HUNTING THIS DAMNED 'FOG FLEET'!"
I'll make it easy for the Yamato, me and the Garmillas Empire. Also don't forget to pour SALT on their wounds.
I sent coordinates of the Barnard Star and wrote, 'If you want Revenge I'll be waiting at this coordinates, and yes, I've been into your entire communications from the day I declared war on you. I'll be waiting.' As soon as they receive that the Emperor's bitch-*Ehem* I mean right-hand woman ordered to shut down all communications and cameras in the throne room but not before the Emperor shouted murder at me.
++ Barnard's Star
WTF? What is that black smoke thing?! Why are torpedoes, missiles, beams and even cannon shells are ineffective? Wait- Isn't this that black smoke thing from the series when the survivors from Pluto Base chased the Yamato?! Shit I forgot about that!
Uhh… 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Group split up! Oh so it can split itself up, good to know, Groups split into individual units, fighters and bombers included, now it can't- What the hell? It can split more?! Grrr… You got me Garmillas, now it's payback time!
I blanketed the entire System with E-War Suites, Hyperspace Jammer, Warp Jammer and any and all Jammers of all kinds I could get my hands on. As soon as I'm sure that no-one except their panicking fleet who's watching me were left, I left my Mental Model aboard the Fuji and Had the Baikal Hyperspace into the System.
Not even before the Baikal was out of Hyperspace, it had its Super-Heavy Graviton Cannon fire at maximum power available and obliterated the Garmillas Fleet and hit the black smoke thing. Strangely, it wasn't enough to destroy the smoke so I fed it with countless Thanatonium Warhead MIRVs until it had literally vanished.
I was of course mad at this and I send my Fleet, Baikal included into their staging area at the Large Magellanic Cloud. As soon as they arrived I fire both of my spinal-mounted LRSGC and SHGC at the unsuspecting Garmillas Fleet of which I obliterated thousands if not hundreds of ships on that alone, I then fired hundreds MIRVs filled with 100-Teraton warheads and watched the glitters of explosions and death.
He ended up doing it anyway, and in that segment it kinda looks like hes trying to justify his OP smackdown, by showing how "impossible to win otherwise" the situation was.
As Yamato's battle at the rainbow cluster nears, I also had upgraded my orbital navy by designing and manufacturing a couple of the newly designed missile battlecruisers. I built 4 and had the 1st and 4th Groups have 2 each, then I had them follow Yamato's trail far enough to not get spotted by anyone but close enough to immediately jump in and assist her anytime on my command. Though that said I won't send the battlegroups in only once I'm sure that Yamato won't survive the rematch against the Good General, can't have 'em dying on me now.
Weapons:
3x – 5-Tube Large Rapid Fire Torpedo/Missile Launch System
2x – Bow-mounted Elerium Super Ion Cannons
10x – Side-mounted Retractable Medium Auto-Laser Mirrors
30x – Missile Launchers
30x – Torpedo Launchers
20x – 120mm 5-Barrel Photon CIWS
20x – Small Auto-Laser Pods
Propulsion: 1 Impulse Large Graviton Engine, 4 Impulse Medium Graviton Engines
Although, before that Yamato must go through Balun and do her thing as she did in the series. I originally wanted to help her in this battle but because of Dessler's magic black smoke thingy, I forced myself to stop and just watch. And again if Yamato can't win then I'll assist, the story must go on after all. Hm? You know what? I take that back, I'll go ahead of the Yamato and engage the Garmillas Fleets at Balun, why? I did gave the Garmillas a good reason to not be on alert last time I came here, better let them shoot at me and deplete their munitions than shooting the star of the show and turning her into thousands of different pieces.
Commence Hyperspace to Balun!
++
As the FOG Fleet came out of the long-distance Hyperspace, they immediately received fire from the Garmillas Fleet.
As expected, they ARE prepared to receive guests.
Unfortunately for the Garmillas Navy, the fleet of FOG came prepared in the form of Progenitor Defense Fields, unlike the shields which covers only the ship itself, the Progenitor Defense Field produces a durable defense sphere which not only protects the Defense Field Emitter herself but everything else inside the sphere, even more unfortunate for the Garmillas Navy, is that those inside the sphere can shoot outside, only those that tries to get inside the sphere gets either repelled, or outright stopped by the field.
My turn.
And like a knight bashing its enemies with his steel shield, so too does the FOG Orbital Navy against the Garmillas Navy. Missiles flew out of the newly created Missile Battlecruiser whom all are in their maiden-flights, as the missiles flew out to struck their targets, so too the various missiles, torpedoes, lasers and railgun spikes from various other ships and their weapon systems.
The Garmillas Fleets upon taking the bashing found themselves too stunned and un-able to break away from combat as their proximity with their allies prevents them from doing so. This became a big mistake as they now received wrath from a very angry looking ICBM-size missile headed their way.
It's about time now.
As the gritty slug-fest between two sides continue, one old and un-active gate, powered up and formed a wormhole from which a ship, reminiscent of an old Imperial Japanese ship of old from Earth appeared and they too were stunned at what is happening in front of them. Two sides, both of which they knew and only one of them was their ally, albeit a temporary one.
The Yamato instead of joining the Fleet of FOG inside their impenetrable Defense Fields, she decided to push her engines at maximum and she too started spewing death and destruction from her 46cm Shock Cannons, various laser emplacements, missiles and torpedoes.
The Garmillas took notice of their most notorious enemy and very much wanted to shoot her so. Fortunately for Yamato these sensible ones didn't fire but unfortunately for her, the idiots, the stupids, the blind ones and the ones who didn't care, all started shooting at Yamato. This proved to be another mistake as Yamato was surrounded by Garmillas ships and this caused friendly fire. A LOT OF FRIENDLY FIRE.
Smart ones from the Garmillas Navy decided to break away from their formations and chased the Yamato from the labyrinth of death, destruction and ships, Yamato took notice of this and decided that she doesn't like stalkers and shot them down, those that weren't shot, slammed into their allies and exploded. Violently.
Nice, now that the Yamato is away, I can now attract more attention! Nukes for everyone!
Numerous of micro-stars were born and died at short successive times as the MIRVs from the Fleet of FOG, reach their target and exploded. The Fleet of FOG having caused enough death and mayhem decided to fall back by Hyperspacing outwards, escaping before Yamato causes and even more powerful and large explosions, one which will be felt by various star empires.
++
Oohh! That's one big-ass explosion! My sensors, although very small, still 'saw' that explosion. Still, Fleet of FOG or not, there's still a limit on how much fire one can take, I actually lost one Cruiser and 8 Destroyers covering the escape of the Battlecruisers and Carriers. I think I'll eat a lot of asteroids today.
Days have passed.
The Battle at the Rainbow Cluster started just now. As expected the Good General, he lured the Yamato's Fighters and Interceptors away and had his Fighters and Bombers do a tactical warp near the Yamato. Since the Good General had more ships than usual, possibly from Balun, I had my 4 Missile Battlecruisers to stealth strikes at the extra battlecruiser and battleships.
As my Missile Battlecruisers fire and move at the same-time, I smirked at the number of missiles and torpedoes those 202-Class produces per minute, 120 Heavy Missiles per minute, missiles that came out of nowhere, struck their battleships and battlecruisers mysteriously, though the Yamato won't notice, the Garmillas Fleet will certainly notice that their battlecruisers and battleships are gone.
After destroying their prey, I again had them retreat silently just as I did in Balun.
As with the story, Yamato found herself in Prison Planet 17 where Mori Yuki was taken by the Garmillas, and the rebels cooperating with Yamato to take down Dessler's regime.
However, just before Yamato goes into the heart of the storm, she finds herself fighting side-to-side with the Garmillas Navy against the Gatlantis Navy, as with the movie, they won but Yamato herself ran into a problem as they used up all of their torpedoes.
Now reaching Garmillas and Iscandar, the last battle of the story began as the Yamato fired and made her way to the Garmillas planet in flank speed…
++ Sol System
Well Yamato won already, no need for me to stay further.
I took my ships, every single one of them and brought them at Jupiter's rings stealthily, I had them stay here for weeks until the Yamato comes back….
….As soon as coming back Yamato contacted Earth to tell them that their mission was a success and the Cosmo Reversal System is now in their hands. Originally I wanted to have that Cosmo Reversal System but I have to pass on that, that'll be a disrespect to the journey I watched them go through. With that in mind I cranked up my stealth at max and stored my fleet inside of Baikal and my D-Storage, As soon as the Cosmo Reversal System did its magic I'll leave.
He ended up doing it anyway, and in that segment it kinda looks like hes trying to justify his OP smackdown, by showing how "impossible to win otherwise" the situation was.
Unfortunately, I had originally planned to have SI lose the the Capital Ships except for the DDs, but I didn't know how to go on about it in a way that I like so I went with what I posted, If I had someone with me to plan that out it would've turned out quite differently. Though having SI's revenge at BALUN was INDEED part of it.
Omake: "Carbon-based Sythetic Life-forms and Genocide." May or may not be cannon.
Oh… Would you look at that? Another Earth. I'm starting to see a pattern here ROB. *Sigh*
Whatever, for now let's get out of Jupiter's Rings. In stealth of course. First, I tried to enter Mars' orbit. Keyword, tried. Not even managing to enter Mars' orbit I was shot at, with lasers, from Mars' Surface.
I retreated via Hyperspace away from Mars and decided to scout out what shot me with the 5th Group, the Stealth Destroyers. The results of my scouting mission were… disturbing to say at the least. Biolo-Sorry I mean Synthetic Carbon Life-forms shot me with lasers from 150,000 kilometers, fucking ridiculous. Now I truly wonder where the hell I've been sent to.
After my scouting mission I decided that I'll not have any of that and tried to nuke Mars with Teratons of Nuke MIRVs, again keyword is 'tried', Of course they were intercepted, thousands of MIRVs were intercepted. The flashes of Nukes probably reached Earth and NASA, JAXA and anyone else with proper telescopes and other space observation equipment would've taken notice by and are either scared shitless or happy to know that there was some other sentient-life forms out here.
Bah, not important. What's important is Mars and its Carbon-based Synthetic Life-forms. If Thermonuclear MIRVs won't work then Long-Range bombardment from Phased Cannon Arrays and Ion-Cannons would work.
I have a 2-phase bombardment plan readied. One is Beam and Laser bombardment towards their Orbital Laser gun life form thing, once eliminated I'd have special missiles with weak one-time-use hyperspace and have them jump in-atmosphere of which when they do, they'll release their payloads of MIRVs with Thermonuclear Hell-fire.
Phase 1 was a success, however Phase 2 wasn't a success, sure Phase 2 commenced and delivered their payload but it half of it exploded when a few warheads were intercepted.
Growing annoyed I almost used my SGCs at them, thankfully I was able to stop when I saw Mars' 'moons', I strapped solid rockets on them and dropped them on Mars, causing massive damages and 2 large craters on Mars' surface, if large parts of Mars burning wasn't enough of a genocide then I don't know what is.
Tsk. Too-fast! Ah well, yes its Muv-luv, though I'm currently stuck since I literally have nothing for the SI to do there. So I'm actually thinking of another universe. But... I'm not sure which, Of course you good people could give me suggestions but beware that I may not take them simply for the fact that I may not know what plots do those fics have.

Depth 023 "In which I take on CHOMPWORLD."
Oh… Would you look at that? Another Earth. I'm starting to see a pattern here ROB. *Sigh*
Whatever, for now let's get out of Jupiter's Rings. In stealth of course. First, I tried to entered Earth's Sphere of Influence and saw countless stations orbiting Earth. I stealthily scanned them and the results were a bit disturbing. Nuclear-Armed Stations were orbiting earth and the stations were marked with various nuclear-armed nations and with UN markings on them, then clustered not far away from the nuke-armed stations were the other sets of 'stations' I found, of which all were actually ships. Challenger-class shuttles and other various shuttles with rocket pods attached on top of them, primitive in design but it must've worked for them to install it in all of the shuttles.
Their biggest one is the size of a Homeworld 2 Corvette, barely 200m in length. Must be their Flagship.
Just to be sure I sent out subtle pulse of scans in various places and I discovered a bunch of other UN ships and a shipyard in L4, after getting eyes on them I instantly knew which world I was in.
I felt weird, one side was telling me to move on to the next universe since I've got no tech I can acquire from them, one side was telling me to genocide them 'cause of BETA and the one who won me over was simply telling me to join the 'FUN'.
First I need to go back at Jupiter's Rings and prepare various stuffs.
I decided to make my appearance as flashy as possible by first changing my flagship from Baikal into another flagship of which I designed and fabricated from the now decommissioned Baikal.
"Baikal-chan, it was nice working with you. Thank you for all the work you've done for me."
Propulsion: 8 Extra Large Impulse Graviton Engines
Length: 3040 Meters
Height: 1000 Meters
Width: 1450 Meters
While Baikal was good, I was bothered by her width and height 'cause I can't dock my capital ships on it. Now? With the new Mothership-class vessel I've got, I can now do that and a lot more, I also increased the hangar capacity so it can store a lot more and spew a lot more. I've also added a complete Wave-Motion System aboard, now it can and will generate power by converting the vacuum of space, and if that's not enough I've also added several very large Elerium power plants inside.
By the way, it can fire missiles the size of cruisers if needed.
Now then! I've got the upgrades and re-stocking of Nanomaterials from the Rings, all that's left is to actually join the stage of CHOMWORLD. Let us head to Earth as flashy as possible.
++ Sol System
Earth, Year 2000
I made my appearance to the world as flashly as possible by dropping a Teraton Thermonuclear Bomb at some Hives at Luna. With that out of the way I waited in Lunar Orbit and waited for a month for Earth and its people to get used at me. I also subtly hacked into the stations and the UN/US Orbital Forces and had them 'leak' their footage of me to the public.
A month and half passed and now the world knows my existence, a second alien existence that may or may not be friendly. I've now started flying towards Earth in a slow pace, deliberately making everything that has observation tools to keep their eyes at me and also me 'leaking' some footage again.
Now in Orbit, I stayed for 2 months observing the world as they observe me, one UN vessel got gutsy and tried to get near me, tried, I fired my Elerium Laser from 150,000 kilometers from orbit towards Hive-03 at Oral, Kazakhstan as an Intimidation tactic. The results are… well let's just say that it worked 'too' well, a lot of people are now actually calling for me to be nuked out of orbit.
After waiting I moved OMNI from the Middle-East to South-East Asia space, of course the UN/US Orbital Fleet followed at a distance.
Yet again, for another Month I stayed in orbit, this time I sent a world-wide radio signal that simply says 'Hello Earthlings, I have taken the liberty of downloading all available language you have.' And boy, oh boy, that raise a very, very large cry to communicate from me, mind you they were still scared shitless and even more so for China, Japan and several countries whom are constantly looking up.
Then after that I constantly received radio bombardment from the planet asking me various stuffs. I chose to ignore it of course.
After waiting I then made my move and I descended my way from space to Australian airspace. I know I'm violating their sovereign airspace but who cares for nations that haven't even made sub-light travel a thing nor did they even unite their whole planet for space. Apparently they do.
From the Australia I flew towards Singapore, Indonesia and then Philippines to Japan in a robotic fashion, as if I'm either looking for something or surveying places. Some TSF Pilots had even more balls than the ship with gutsy attitude at space and actually flew near me and landed on my port-side hangar, I politely told the TSF Pilot to 'clean your footsteps afterwards lest I grow annoyed, I just got my new paintjob.' The funny thing is, he actually cleaned it by picking up an abandoned water tank, filled it and poured water on it, he then said 'Sorry for that chap, I just had to get that out of my system.' What a nice Brit.
After reaching Japan, I just stopped right there, above Japanese Airspace, with a lot of time before the events of Muv-Luv Alternative
++ Japan
2000
It's time. I finally made my move from just floating above Japanese Airspace for 3 months. It's time for me to join the CHOMPWORLD stage.
I opened my hangar and launch a 102-Class Destroyers with Resource Collectors. I had them go collect various wreckages in China in-order to conceal my main objective this time, the TSF. Of course this action scared the world shitless as another kilometer long vessel appeared out of nowhere, it caused both American Navy and Japan's militaries to gather up.
During the collection my Destroyer took notice of several Laser-class BETAs taking aim at the resource collectors, I then took direct control of the Destroyer and used it to cover the collectors, afterwards I retaliated by firing a barrage Elerium Auto-Lasers and properly melted the BETAs away, then came in other BETA strains and I had them cooked or melted, then fired a macros missile massacre into smaller Tank-strain BETAs and had my collectors leave with their loot and the Destroyer closely following and guarding them as I release direct control.
…I think I've shown a large part of my powerbase just now.
Why destroy/recycle the Baikal?
I had gotten the impression that the SI had not only done quite a bit of mining in the Space-Battleship Yamato Universe, but also just now in order to take care of Mars.
Couldn´t the SI keep the Baikal, while constructing the new Mothership?
Like the new one, though, Very Gundam Seed-ish.
A good stop-gap before going SDF.
It has the same general lines going for it.
Almost that Colony-ship from Robotech the Shadow Chronicles, as well.
Mmm, seems you can go two ways with future upgrades.
But I think (s)he is forgetting something, (S)he has forgotten to upgrade his/her main hull, after (s)he finally has gotten the tech from the Space-Battleship Yamato Universe.
It seems a bit of a let down, you know.
And he could have gone for a Super-Yamato & Super-Montana combo, for the giggles.
Seems to me as if the SI likes smash-downs, as long as (s)he is the one doing it
How are you ever going to do a bit of trolling, if you always blast away with overwhelming firepower?
I mean, the trolling could help with your tactics and planning, in case you find yourself in the Star Wars Universe or so.

D-Storage had its limit and I couldn't just keep expanding it without permanently stabilizing them and me constantly making sure that it won't collapse due to lack of energy. I thought of combining the two, the Baikal as the middle part, ultimately I went with the Girty Lue-class or OMNI-class for me.
I do have plans to upgrade SIs main Hull into a Montana-like Hull which is slim enough for Panama canal and long enough for me to add more stuff, namely the Wave-Motion System.
