Depth 009 "Timber!"
Depth 009 "Timber!"

I was taken out of my dastardly-evil-planning-phase as my phone suddenly rang and I answered it.

"XCOM?"
"Yes, this is Bradford. The Commander would like to talk to you."
"It's me, do you know of the X-Ray base at Spain?"
"The one near Huesca yes?" I replied.
"Yes that one, we'd like to your help to seize it." Seize it? Don't you have the proper manpower and resources for that? I told him as such.
"Not anymore, we've been constantly training personnel on other XCOM-affiliated facilities and the resources can be easily replaced with the other half of the battleship you helped took down, we'll send in XCOM operatives together with you to seize the base." Hah! 'helped' my ass! I took the thing down all by myself! I'm still bitter about it!
"When."
"Somewhere within the next 40 days." What?
"Somewhere?" I asked him. Are they having problems again?
"It depends on how much time USA takes to transfer the resources." Oh... Hm, ok.
"Within these 40 days, contact me when you're ready." I told him. Now to get back to my base.

As I sailed forth to home I wondered, 'How did they spot me? Where did those small crafts come from?' then it suddenly it me, I am doing the cause of my near-demise. The Boosters. I was using a mix of both my Graviton Engines AND rocket engines in tandem, which gives me ludicrous acceleration and speed underwater. Graviton Engines aside, those water I gathered using slits on my ship-body which in turn I use process liquid hydrogen from them which then I use to fuel my mounted disposable rocket engines lights up like a Christmas tree even underwater, plus those sea waves I produce just adds fuel to the fire.

Ah... So that's how they spotted me eh. But what about those small crafts? I did disable my active sensors to avoid getting pinged and just relied on good ol' camera, passive sensors, maps and a healthy dose of predicting. So how did they got spotted ONLY after they've gone close enough for them to shoot at me?

I went through my files and found a copy of both mine and XCOM's scans of all those small alien crafts... They don't have stealth, what the fuck?

FOG Base Alpha

I've been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade, make life and take the lemons back.
Nah just JK. I've been thinking of trying to go to space... I have the tech and the means but that means I have to change my current ship-body into a configuration fitting for space exploration and combat.

Initially I thought of becoming a space battleship Yamato but I ran across a problem... What should I do if ROB ever decides to throw me into USY2199 universe? The Yamato encountering Me? Please don't joke about it, that wave motion cannon will rip me a new one and rekt it good. You know I'll do just that if you ever did change your form to USY2199 Yamato.
That aside, I'm thinking of using HW2's Battlecruiser from the MOD Complex, I like the design. Though I do want to make it 2 Kilometers in length so I'll need a LOT of nanomaterials, and the conversion rates between resources to nanomaterials, usable nanomaterials are pretty low even the TGT01 conversion rates were pretty low. Plus I don't wanna use the warp drive, yet, 'cause I have no solid method of masking my warp signature if I ever do a warp transition. Also I want to use FTL drives planet-side, think about the tactical merits of being capable of doing so, sure I've got the Wave-Force Armor to either politely or roughly scoot the particles away for me to be able to relatively safely use Warp FTL in atmosphere but that may damage the planet's natural atmosphere.

Various movies and series like Star Trek and USY has shown that Warp Drives can indeed be used to enter and exit warp in atmosphere, but those are movies and tv-shows, can't rely on them now can't we? You? Talking about Fiction even when you're a fictional character in a fictional world?
Though I would like to get my hands on USY2199's Wave Motion Engine... Infinite power and fuel by converting the vacuum of space? Yes please.

*Sigh* Wish I could encounter other SI's they'll be sure to help me and I too would like to help them, exchange shinies and stuff. That will not happen when I am the one who holds the say on that matter.

4 Days later I encountered a UFO Large Scout Ship. I of course due to my greed, literally knocked the UFO down using my Wave-Force Armor. I then proceeded to kill all the crews, and brought the loot to my safe haven to convert to Nanomaterials.

Hm... Now that I thought about, the psionic-tech I told the XCOM to develop, wonder what happened.

"This is Dr. Vahlen, you asked for me?" Yes I did.
"Yes, what ever happened to those psionic-tech I handed over? Have you improved them?" I asked her.
"Oh yes! Of course we did!" Hyperactive much? "Thanks to you our fighting prowess increased exponentially! Can you imagine all the possible applicatio....." Ugh. This. Was. A. Mistake. To. Ask.

Pleasantries were exchanged and I had them sent me a complete copy of their psionic study. I do have rights on the thing since I handed the root technology to them, even though I stole it from the Aliens.

After finally escaping the clutches of Dr. Vahlen, I at least had the decency to not shut the phone off when the other party is talking mind you, I took my time thinking about spaceships again and I've finally decided. Although this base was just recently re-constructed for me, I have no choice now. I took all of my stashed nanomaterials except for 9000 units and converted half of the 18000 to nanomachines and built a dedicated stealth generator and SUB-AI core which I tasked of dissolving the internals of the base and had it built my spaceship chassis underneath in a vertical fashion.

A month later I was contacted by XCOM, asking me to assist them in the capture of the alien base 'Huesca' in Spain.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
North of Huesca

"Are you and your people ready?" I asked their leader in Psi-Armor.
"Yes ma'am." He replied professionally.
"Then let's move. You take point, Leave the Alien Heavies to me."
"Roger that."

After a series of cover-to-cover movement and silent take downs, these Psi-Operatives are damn good, we managed to reach Alien Base 'Huesca'.

"What's the plan? I can always bust down the front gate if needed." I suggested, I had my drones and Rensouhos AND the destroyer Hikage in my D-Storage, I can call them immediately when needed, heck I could drop my ship-body literally on top of the base if I wanted to.
"If you would please." Oh taking my suggestion eh? I grinned and licked my lips in anticipation.

I opened a big portal, 300 meter in length and dropped my ship-body, guns blazing, on top of their base.

...Timber!

Ufufu...HAHAHAHHAAHA!! IT IS THE START OF THE CARNIVAL MWUAAHHAHA!*Cough* Ehem. That was un-lady like. You? Talking about being a lady?

As my ship-body continued pouring in more firepower in the field I couldn't help myself from gleefully smirking at the death of the aliens.

Alien Base 'Huesca'

Sweet Mother Russia! This woman is crazy! She's even crazier than Putin with an AK!
What's with dropping a Sweet Siberian-be-damned Yamato battleship to a base?! An Alien-Fucking-Base!?
Better get this mission done or I may just become part of the collateral!
"Squad prepa- SWEET MOTHER RUSSIA IS THAT A MIS-!!!!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hm? Are they saying someth- Oh... a missile.

I projected a hardlight in the shape of a baseball bat and swung the bat onto the missile.

HOMERUN!

*Cough* Ehem, well at least these humans are fine, time to finish this up.

As my ship-body, again, kept pouring ludicrous amounts of firepower, again, I had my Rensouhou team push forward towards the enemy power generators. I turned around and ordered the XCOM operatives to go to the command center of the facility to prevent lock-down, wiping of its databanks and self-destruction of the facility.

I commanded my SUB-AIs within my Rensouhous to provide cover to XCOM and attract the attention of the sectopods and their mechs, I then projected my Wave-Force Armor to protect the said Rensouhous, FOG-Armor or not plasma'll still melt my armor.

I aimed one of my 46cm Gun at the alien saucer who managed to take-off, I fired, my 46cm shell flew and struck the offending saucer, turning it inside out due to the sheer amount of kinetic force applied.

I walked towards the hangar with my Wave-Force Armor still on and my Klein-Field still in good condition. Arriving at the hangar I encountered another alien saucer, still powered down, as if I'm going to let the aliens board it. I had my ship-body open one of its missile launcher, I loaded it with thermite and fired it, as the missile arc-ed upwards and then downwards, just before it its the target I had it detonate, raining thermites and creating a lot of heat unto the saucer, making sure that it wont fly again, ever.

[Klein-Field Saturation at 5%]

As the conquest for the base continues I couldn't help but notice that these aliens are converged upon an area near the command center, they're defending something in there. Oh what could it be Ufufu~

I boldly walked towards the offending place where the gathered Aliens are defending, desperately. Coming out in front of them was a good idea, now their firepower and attention are now focused at me, allowing the XCOM operatives to head inside the command center, I gave them a small nod signalling them to go now.

[Klein-Field Saturation at 8%] Hm? That's a lot of firepower for a single place. Heavy plasma launchers, automatic plasma launchers and even magnetic weaponry are in place, mounted. Curiosity got the better of me and I instantly annihilated the defenders with a fabricated HMG mounted on my right arm.
I entered the room and found an object in the middle of the room... Well this doesn't say 'Hey look I'm important! Look at me!' *Snickers*

I scanned the object and found out that it was transmitting a pattern of signals at a wavelength I was familiar with... This thing... is a trans-receiver... And it's transmitting signals in and out of this dimension... Factorio's Hammerspace-tech is similar to this, but this, its a primitive, very primitve version of the factorio D-Transreceiver used to store and take matter out of a pocket dimension, although this one only transmits and receives signals.

...Hey, isn't this a Hyperwave Beacon? Yes this IS a Hyperwave Beacon, I guess I cut out work for XCOM operatives for this, I'll use this to extort them some more.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post-Battle

I let XCOM take all of the base in exchange for a Freighter filled with metals, lots and lots of metals, old tanks, aircrafts and scrap metal, I can turn those into materials, nanomaterials, though it'll take time but still, lots of nanomaterials await me!

I also told XCOM about the beacon and how they could use it by building their own Hyperwave facility and its uses. As thanks to that I got my loot being prepared quite fast, they've already passed the order to deliver those to my facility in Mindanao, Philippines.

I stored my Rensohous and my ship-body, took my dropship out and went back home.

XCOM Base
Post-Battle Debriefing

The men and women of XCOM were all happy about the destruction of the alien base and were celebrating it.
"Commander?" A man, one of the operatives came up to the Commander together with Bradford.
"LT? What's with the long face? Something bothering you?" The Commander with his vast experience in warfare learned how to read peoples faces, noticed one of his soldiers weren't looking happy like the others.
"Yes Sir. It's about that X-Ray..." The man directed slightly turned his gaze downwards, the Commander took notice of this.
"What about Fairy-One? Did she threatened you or hurt you? Or anyone for that matter?" Slightly alarmed the Commander focused his attention to his Soldier.
"Are you sure we had to make an Alien an Ally? We could've locked it or put it down." Bradford joined the conversation.
"Yes we had too. You know how much of an asset she is, regardless of her... Attitude." The Commander finally took notice of the problem. It was her, whenever she was involved it always ends up with the Council pulling their hairs out or causing migraine to his poor old head.
"Even if it does, why are we trusting it AND giving her resources? What if it turn it's back against us? It's as much of a threat as the Ethereals are." Bradford couldn't afford to not hold a snort.
"Officer Bradford. You will address her properly." The Commander narrowed his eyes at the offending Officer.
"Besides she herself said it. 'I've got no quarry against your kind but I do have a bone to pick with against the Ethereals.'" The Commander added. His intuition told him to befriend this new 'Alien' and make her XCOM's ally. His guts telling him that making an enemy out of her would be as worse as the Ethereal and their empire taking over earth, no it was much worse than that, he noticed that his new Ally was indeed holding back. If she did unleash her full wrath, not even the combined Ethereal AND Earth Military would stand against her. Not that Earth would ally itself with X-Rays.

"You don't have to worry about her." The Commander assured his men.
"... Yes sir..." The LT replied while his gaze slowly shifted downwards as he left.
"Bradford." He called the attention of his Officer.
"Whenever she's around, you will address our good ally properly." He ordered Bradford whom still looked as serious as ever.
"Yes Sir." Bradford saluted and left.
The Commander couldn't help but let out a tired sigh. There was- No, there IS indeed a friction between XCOM and her ally, although in-field things were kept professional he still couldn't help but feel sorry for his ally to be treated as such behind her back. He knew that humanity shouldn't be a xenophobic species, he knew that once humanity step on the stage known as the Galaxy as they are right now, they won't last long.

"Why the sigh?" A woman in lab coat. Dr Vahlen approached the Commander.
"Nothing, just couldn't help but feel that humanity is slowly becoming xenophobic to a bad degree." Dr. Vahlen nodded at his opinion.
"I agree, although it can't be helped, the Alien threat is very real and is practically an open secret now." Dr. Vahlen added.
"Yes indeed. Still, the population at large needed to be kept in the dark."
"Why so? If the population knew they too would take up arms and help us." The Scientist already knew the Commander's answer but still couldn't help but ask.
"It's not that eas-" "I know." A sigh was let out by the Commander "If you knew then please don't ask."
"I would like to study 'Fairy-One' but straining the alliance won't end well for us."
"Whatever your thinking Dr. It's not good." The Commander shuddered to think what would happen to XCOM's ally if Dr. Vahlen strapped her into a operating table.

Could you perchance provide an image? I can't see to find a pic from that specific mod. That said, I do fully agree with you that Homeworld ships are awesome.
Here, please remember that I'll mod this ship into FOG standard, kindly eat your heart out as I do to mine: imgur . com /a/uS9XN

Why not something like a Battlestar from new Battlestar Galactica or a Dreadnought from Star Wars?
Hell, use the Excalibur from Babylon 5.
If you want to be mean, use the SDF-1 or the SDF-2. (Extreme Super Gravity Canon)

As soon as I got back, I checked the progress of my spaceship-body, it's 30% complete also I may or may have been draining the natural minerals beneath the mountains, hope the locals won't notice anything weird. Eh, who am I kidding they'll notice something's wrong when they lose all the stuff they're mini- wait, let me just…

[Scanning… Scan Complete.]
[No mining facility have been within 5 kilometers.]

What? No mines in the vicinity? Seriously? Oh well, no worries then. Now I can mine all them minerals and none the wiser… probably.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A week later the freighter I was promised has arrived 6 kilometers away from the coast. Right at the coordinates I gave them, I waited for the PH Navy to evacuate the personnel from the freighter for a few hours. After vacating the area I took direct control my ship-body whom I stationed near the coordinates submerged, just before I surface I activated my fog generator and active stealth systems just to be safe, I then opened my ship from amidship from the bow to the aft, like a mouth of a crocodile ready to bite its prey, I sprinkled nanomachines unto the freighter.

[Gained 12400 Units of Nanomaterials.]

What, did you think I'll literally bite it in half? That's just a waste of time, plus I'll be destroying my loot if I did that. Yes I did thought of that.
I took 200 units of nanomaterials to restock my supply of thanatonium. I did use a lot when I fought the alien battleship.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After turning that freighter and its contents into nanomaterials, I delivered those same stuff to my base to be used in the construction of my spaceship-body.

Weeks have passed when I received word from XCOM that they were able to build a Hyperwave Facility, they thanked me since they can now scan and identify UFOs and its crew composition, now they're able to prepare proper counter-measure against the Aliens.

A few days later I spotted 2 UFO Battleships joined the Temple Ship at L2, I informed XCOM about this and told them to prepare anything.

Another few days later and a UFO Saucer, slightly bigger than the usual UFO Large Scout Ship, came out of the Temple Ship, It is being escorted by a battleship and other small UFO crafts and they're headed straight towards Earth.

As usual I contacted XCOM and informed them. A few days later I got a response from XCOM telling me that they did spot the UFO ships but no sign of the 'slightly bigger than usual UFO large scout ship'. It was weird but I sent out a subtle but detailed scan of the incoming UFO flotilla, then I noticed a something from the 'slightly bigger than usual saucer', It was emitting less elerium particles and lesser heat signature… An idea of their stealth perhaps?

I send my findings to XCOM and told them to ask what Dr. Vahlen and Dr. Shen thinks about this. They told me that it is very plausible that they're using stealth systems and then they tried different types of scan towards the UFO flotilla and found something when they used the hyperwave facility on them, they did spot the unusual UFO and that the two 'doctors' wanted the offending ship to be studied.

And another few days spent waiting and watching the construction, which is now 42% complete by the way, the XCOM and I finally discovered where the flotilla is making its entry. Africa. And so I sailed forth towards Africa, and the XCOM prepares to intercept them.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a certain coast in Africa.

I waited and while waiting I noticed one glaring mistake that I've made, how the heck would I get my ship in range to shoot them? The answer? By flying.

I also noticed that I had no ground units, like none at all. That won't just do so I went into the designer and designed some ground units, I took the walking tank from CoD AW, and designed myself a walking tank. A FOG-made walking tank. What's that? Infantry? What Infantry?

I named the design as WBT-1 'Groundhog'. Next I took 500 units of nanomaterial to build 10 of these babies and stored them on my D-Storage. Sure do hope I won't have to use them though, powerful as they are, they don't have Wave-Force Armor and I can't always project mine to these, the enemy does have a flotilla there. Oh wait! I do have that! Firebrand's Elerium Shield! Let's add that.

Next I designed a multirole spacecraft, yes a multirole SPACECRAFT. I took the J7W Shiden and angled the wings a bit, make it twice, upgraded the guns to auto-lasers, took the propellers off and replaced it with a small graviton engine, also added elerium shields and added it to my craft, not as powerful as my Wave-Force Armor but it'll do. Of course I named it M7X 'Shinden'.

Took another 500 units of nanomaterials to make 10 units of these babies too. I also created a dedicated SUB-AI to control these crafts, also made it direct-controllable to me if needed.

I then used 1000 units of my onboard nanomaterials to build myself 4 small graviton engines mounted at the side of my stern, it looks ugly but it will do the job of getting me flying across the African continent… Somehow I'm hearing ROB laughing. Hahaha! That's USY2199! Maybe I should throw you at USY2199 universe right now.

"Saraba chikyuu yo tabidatsu fune wa-" Huh?! What the?! Was I just singing USY2199 theme?! Maybe I shouldn't bother thinking about this lest I sing any further….

Depth 012 “Missile Tactics”
Depth 012 "Missile Tactics"

Ehem, that never happened. What? Who sung? Me? I most certainly did not sing. Nope, nada, nein, null, void.

Now back to Africa. Now that I've prepared my forces all that's left is to yet again, wait. You know what they say, 'hurry up and wait.'

As the flotilla moved and hid above the clouds the XCOM Firebrands moves to intercept. Of course I didn't just watch them, I joined the intercept, appearing both in front and rear of the flotilla, they were forced to split their flotilla, me presenting a bigger threat as I am a battleship, their UFO battleships, tagged as TGT01 and TGT02, made a 180 degree turn.

As if I'd enter their weapons range, I stopped accelerating and started to reversed. I calculated what's the best way to engage them without the use of SGC and Flagship Equipment, and I found my answer in only 2 seconds. Of course, unlike last time I didn't want get caught with my pants down so I sent out a various types of scans, pings and pulses all around me and in-orbit to make sure that I'll not get ambushed again. Seeing as there's no other contacts except for the flotilla in front of me I put my plan to action.

I as I kept reversing I converted my smokestacks into to a missile platform, I had a custom-made missile I quickly drew up to start loading in the platform, the said missile does not have a warhead but instead is large enough to carry a single M7X Shinden with its wings folded inside it. I also had the other Shindens mounted inside these special plane-carrying missile which I also fabricated within my D-Storage.

I also had my 46cm frontal cannons converted into long range variants, I aimed and kept feeding the cannons energy generated shipboard to the point where I actually disabled my temporarily Klein-Field.

I also had changed my missile load-out into a missile-carrying-missile (MCM) platform, if you've seen what a macros missile massacre is like, then it is that, however instead of 'just' that I had the main missile platform's main fuselage mostly emptied and I instead had installed smaller shorter ranged missiles, with the main platform delivering the small ones into range. I also changed the guidance system into a laser guided one, this way their countermeasures will have a lesser chance of succeeding.

With all my weapons accounted and my plan ready to go. Initiated first strike on my part by unleashing long range MCM missiles, in tandem with the specialized missile transports, of course I lowered the missile transports' speed subtly to allow the MCM's to go first.

And while the missiles are travelling, I had the cannons that I charged, fired, beam streaking as it finds its way towards the enemy ships it found its path true and struck one of the enemy ships, TGT01, it didn't destroy or caused significant damage but I did overpowered their shields and caused it enough damage, disabling their shields permanently, I kept reversing and charged my cannons yet again as I watch the missiles reach their targets.

The MCM flying straight, started to spread out and performed erratic maneuvers from my command and unleashed its smaller siblings, multiplying the hundreds of missiles into several hundreds more of missiles. The enemy possibly shocked at the appearance of hundreds more projectile at close range, showed their panic by performing erratic evasive maneuver that nearly caused TGT01 to crash into TGT02.

This gave me a smirk as the enemy ships slowed down and tried to reverse to prevent crashing, giving me more time to charge my cannons and increasing the ratio of my missile hits as their point defenses won't have LOS due to the proximity of the enemy ships to one another. Of course, true to my word, 90% of the missiles hit they're target and caused massive damages to TGT01, unfortunately it didn't cause any actual damage to TGT02. However the first wave didn't just stop there, as the missile transport released their payload of fighters which I shit you not zigzag their way through enemy fire that's actively trying to shoot them down.

My multirole crafts returned fire and caused their shields to temporarily shut down and the crafts kept pouring auto-laser fire unto the poor bastard. My smirk grew into a grin as the cannon just finished charging up. I had my crafts break up and once cleared, I fired my cannons, it struck the enemy ship causing the bow of the battleship to melt and explode violently, causing TGT02 to start crashing as it lose all control.

TGT01 still in the fight, kept shooting at my crafts to no effect as my crafts are too fast and to nimble for them to get shot at, I nearly pity the poor aliens as my crafts are like the drones in Macross TV-series, the same drones who likes to zigzag around a target while firing at it.

Soon TGT01 too fell down towards the ground as weapons fire caused its engines to explode. I let the vultures inside my crafts to pick apart whatever survive from the crashes and sent a ping towards XCOM, telling them that I'm finished with my part. In response, the XCOM proudly reported to have taken down the enemy ships with 3 firebrands and no loses, the unusual ship, their main target of interest is already down on the ground and XCOMs ground assault is on their way.

I left them to their devices because if my guess is correct that stealth saucer is probably the overseer ship, which means that this, rather, their mission is the overseer crash site. Endgame is near but I do wonder who will go after the big boss. I knew that there's a chance it won't come down due to my presence and that it may leave. Things don't always go as the games dictated it. This is reality after all.

I put my Klein-Field up again and converted the smokestacks and the cannons back to their main modes. I had my ship-body go towards the crash sites as my Shinden Flight finished picking apart whatever is left. I scanned the sites for life-signs just to be sure, thankfully everything alive is now dead and I began to produce nanomachines to dissolve and convert my victims into usable stuffs.

Why start converting things when you could store it all and then convert?
Heck, why did the SI not put that first dimension it´s base that gave him that sub-space-pocket tech, not in a subspace pocket?
Could have been dead useful, especially if you ad the X-Com aliens their underground (big) base under need it.
Ad a FOG naval base to it and a pocket generator system...

And shooting down enemy ships...
Put them into a subspace pocket dockyard and act like a pirate would. :ninja:
No X-Com stealing your price or such annoying things.
And since these pockets are not your main pocket, save as well.

As for another option for a space-battleship, ever seen the movie: Harlock, Space Pirate?
That Arcadia was quite a beauty and dead useful in design.
I especially like how they did her main gun turret layout.
That such a choice is possibly trolling X-Com.....

Yeah, seen Harlock, pretty good also nice ship design even though those aren't my kind of aesthetics.

Currently the subspace-pocket dimension can't handle too much, at least 2 Yamato-class is the absolute limit before it collapses and the things inside WILL be lost forever, hence NOT putting permanent structures till SI can find a way to permanently establish pocket dimension.

SI not setting up a permanent base, is quite the good thing, since look at what happened to XCOM, I mentioned that their Base WAS attacked and they lost quite a lot of stuffs and personnel, PLUS they ARE overworked 'cause there's an ongoing terror-attack in the city the SI appeared in.
Also at this point XCOM is quite desperate hence taking up a reluctant (not for the Commander) alliance with SI. Plus the SI has been quite helpful especially in terms of deterrence, If you were the Alien Leader and suddenly your forces were destroyed with overwhelming firepower and IS an unknown, I think you too would fall back and regroup your forces to ID the unknown threat with superior firepower than the natives of the planet your fighting in. Heck XCOM didn't even have LASER-Weaponry, only EXALT has. Now though? XCOM has been stepping it up.

Also the SI will NOT drag alien ships inside her base, the aliens don't follow whatever convention that says 'booby-trapping carcass is bad' EVEN though those same aliens may or may not be smart enough to know or do that.

Several weeks have passed and a bunch of aliens attack yet again but nothing big. I let the XCOM handle it as there's no other battleship preys that came when I took 2 of theirs down easily and that XCOM is more than capable of handling them, too bad no terror attacks nor base assaults of any kind.

After the arrival of my supplies and the materials delivered by XCOM the construction of my space-ship body is finally nearly complete.

I had the Warp Drive installed within my spaceship-body, of course, I had the Elerium-Shields instead of my Wave-Force Armor to do the scooting and shielding when I travel. The E-Shields may be weaker than my Wave-Force Armor, at least it didn't need to release all the stored energies receive from enemy fire or high speed impacts from various sized objects like meteoroids to debris.

Now as for the armor, don't get me wrong Wave-Force Armor is good but once its Klein-Field's bottom is broken, the armor just becomes normal armor that is weak enough that human naval firepower, yes, those slug throwers and missiles, are more than enough to sink a FOG ship, a FOG battleship. So what I did is I combined my Wave-Force Armor with Cydonium (Alien) Alloy which is both extremely light and incredibly durable and added a skintight-err rather, hull-tight Elerium-shields.

Although I love the ship designs from Homeworld-series and would really like to use them, but I chose a completely different ship from a different series. That ship is from Gundam 00 and its name is 'Baikal'. It just fits you know, plus I can use it to pretend that it's a wet navy ship instead of a spaceship, to either troll someone or lure someone. If someone is that stupid, that is.

Credits goes to the Original Author by the way.

And yet again, of course I edited my version of the ship, most notable is that I increased its total scale and appropriated its height and width to fit a 1.9 kilometer long vessel and changed the original engine pods, I increased its length and more thrusters in it, then added various weapon mounts and up-armored it.

With that in mind I ended up with these specifications:

G00ESF-01 Baikal-Class Battlecruiser
Wave-Force Armor with 2 Klein-Field Bottles
Cydonium Armor (XCOM Alien Alloy)
Elerium Shields (XCOM)
Mirror-Ring System
Warp Drive (XCOM)
Optical Camouflage

Weapons:
Super Heavy Graviton Cannon
Spinal-Mounted Long-Range Super Graviton Cannon

3x – 6-Barreled 80cm Variable Photon Cannons
4x – 3-Barreled 46cm Variable Photon Cannons
14x – 120mm 3-Barreled Photon Gatling Guns
50x – Heavy Auto-Lasers Pods
16x – 88mm 4-Barreled Photon CIWS
16x – 88mm Laser CIWS
100x – Missile Launchers (Large)
200x – Missile Pods (Small)
50x – Torpedo Launchers (Large)
100x – Torpedo Tubes (Small)

High Voltage Discharger
Numerous Remote-Controlled Ball-shaped Rensouhou

Propulsion: Large Graviton Engines, 2 Armored Engine Pods with Graviton Engines

Overpowered? Overkill? Don't care, it's my safety on the line and I ain't takin' any chances.

Though I added the warp drive, I probably won't use it that much except for tactical jumps and within a solar system, don't wanna leave Sol unless I have a solid intel on star systems within my drive's reach.

Also I won't dissolve my original ship-body, instead I'll store it inside my D-Storage, I may need a form of disguise in the shape of a wet naval battleship from WW2 instead of a space battlecruiser, from whom? Dunno but hey, I've grown to like my ship-body to dissolve it into nanomachines. Call me sentimental if you like, don't care.

Since the construction of the Baikal is nearly complete, I'd like to take a break from all this gritty alien combat and take a vacation, only for 7 days and that's it.

With that in mind!

NCR, Philippines

Man that arcade was a blast. I admit I cheated using my time-dilation but still it was a blast. Never thought there'd be many veterans of Virtual-On here, it was fun using Temjin and getting my ass handed to me by other Temjins, heck why do people only use Temjins?!

Anyways, the other day, XCOM contacted me about the Overseer ship, its crew or rather the Ethereal inside it and the artifact, the Ethereal Device. Dr. Vahlen, as sharp as ever, accused me of knowing what the ship is, its crew (Ethereal mainly) and the purpose of both the ship and the device. Of course Bradford was angry and everyone else was wide-eyed shocked as I didn't deny the claim, and instead told them that if they kill the Ethereal, autopsied it and send me all of the data I'd tell them what the device does, why the Alien Invasion is happening to them and what to do next.

They were shocked of course and eventually agreed, of course after they've interrogated the Ethereal and got themselves copies of the data, but more importantly for them, they now know a weakness they can exploit against the Aliens and their masters. I told them that if they want to board their Temple Ship I'd lend them the means to do so. Which means I'll be having XCOM operatives within my ship. Yikes.

Anyways they of course chose to watch and wait method and instead will contact me if they change their minds.

Heh, Ethereals, Psionic Soldiers or whatever Psionic power they have won't work on me, I am after a machine, albeit a human mind uploaded to a machine but a machine nonetheless. Wait am I an uploaded being or an AI? ROB? The latter.

Oh well, it doesn't matter for now. Although, I can create a human body, yes I can create a human body using the cloning technology I got from capturing the alien base combined with FOG mastery of nanomachines, its manipulation and usage. I can also augment it with Psionic capabilities comparable to the Avatar of XCOM2.

[Construction of 1 Baikal-class Vessel has completed.] Oh.

Time to go pack up then.

AN: I'm not sure about this kind of spec for a 1.9km space Battlecruiser. Tell me if it's either too much or too little.
Also, yeah sorry, initially I decided to have a FOG Hiigaran Battlecruiser but then I saw the Baikal Battlecruiser from Gundam 00 and felt it to be right up my alley.

Honestly? I'd suggest looking into recruiting a beta reader, or at least someone to bounce ideas off of. Should let you get away with not planning

Ships go up in size in order to reach some goal.
If you look at a Pre-Dreadnought, you will see how thick they are in comparison to their length. They had a lot of small caliber guns, as the logic was, that you need them to fend off torpedo boats, and shoot at torpedoes that were launched.
Dreadnough's were large caliber main guns, little secondaries. But there were huge differences in size for their purpose. Though all shared a common of being very thin and long, to pass the Panama Chanel. For example- Iowa class were longer than the Yamato, but thinner.
Those few meters of difference in width amounted to 1/6 of a tonnage difference, ability to field 46cm guns, and impenetrable gun mounts.

What is it that the new ships design accomplish? Why is it of that size?

As I look at the things you provided us with, it looks like a hodgepodge of equipment that was thrown at the ship, because it was laying around in the warehouse.
And seems awfully redundant on a FOG ship. More so with their nanomaterial abilities.

And your sense of scale is sorely lacking here, as with 390 meters of width on a 1900 meters of length hull, you could mount those 80cm guns on the sides...
in turrets... superfireing with 3 stacks...
The main guns of that beast could be anywhere near 240 CM! (2400mm!) and a barrel length of 120 meters.

And if the missiles scale up in size as with normal FOG ships. Then instead of missiles you could fire Kagerous. Because yes. The missiles are now the size of destroyers.

So think through what you expect to do with this boat, its purpose, intended enemies, and the fact that with your size the KF could likely tank SGC's all day, and not bother with a response.

I second the suggestion that you get a beta reader. The story has lots of potential, following in Drich & Fusou's shoes (although nobody is going to beat the sheer number of lewd that Fusou can produce per chapter). However the grammar errors are killing said potential due to how difficult it is to read in places.

I take that back, I want a BETA reader. Though only to remove those grammar errors and awkward writings.

Ahh.... Knew it. What I did is that I just took the original's scale and multiplied it by 4(?) so yeah it feels awkward to have a 'over-sized cannon on a destroyer' kind of thing.

Thanks for the words you gave me, I'll take those in consideration and at least fix the ship's scale to an adequate degree before uploading the next chapter.

The Baikal-class Battlecruiser, not THE best that I can fabricate but it is currently the best ship that I've got right now, and it's now complete I can take on space and take that Temple Ship out and steal its goodies. In fact, all it needs is a one single good hit of a Super Heavy Graviton Cannon on a critical part of a ship and it'll go kaboom! Oh by the way I've got one Spinal-mounted Long-range Super Graviton Cannon onboard, weaker than the other one which is the same one that can be found on my original ship-body.

Anyways, just one hit, a single hit of a SHGC is all it needs to end all of XCOMs problems…. Hah, I can just go 'hurr durr, I solved all your problems now, hurr durr, thank me later.'

Anyways. Pre-Launch preparations are complete. The auxiliary rocket boosters are attached and roaring to go. All that's left is the dissolving and disposing of the construction site which I'll just do right now.

After disposing of the evidence-err I mean dissolving of the base and its alien parts I've contacted XCOM telling them that 'I'll go up'. Just that, I'll have them panic for my amusement.

Now then! I think I should get going now. Launch the vessel.

FOG Baikal-class 'Baikal'

[Active Stealth On]

Space is absolutely vast! It's got stars, planets, gas giants, asteroids, comets, meteors and space, a lot of space, oh have I mention that it's got a lot of space?

Just to be sure, I send out a subtle series of scans towards Lagranges 1, 2, 3 4 and also here at Earth's Sphere of influence, thankfully only several small contacts and they're all mostly at Europe and American continents.

Now that I'm up here…. Let's see…. What to do now… I could just go at one of the asteroid belts to gather precious space rocks or I could go to Jupiter's rings heck even at Neptune would do. Or I could make a permanent space base-ala-space engineers. Nah I won't build a perma-base, it is after all near the Endgame.

Speaking of Endgames… How the fuck would I get out of this universe? Would ROB just teleport me into another or one of those stargate things would?

"Sir! An unknown space craft has been spotted in the atmosphere! It's above Asia staying at low-earth orbit!" The sensors officer barked at Bradford.

"Get all the data you can gather from the UFO, Weapons Officer! I want those Elerium guns and Firebrands online yesterday!" Bradford, as professional as he is barked a series of commands of which the men and women followed immediately. Bradford then paged the Commander and waited for him to arrive and take command.

….
………

As needed, the Commander arrived and took over, giving confidence to the men and women as their dependable Commander who always got them out of hairy situations took over. Bradford salutes and reports the situation at the Commander.

"Commander! We've got another UFO, it's a big one, possibly a kilometer size vessel, we tagged the UFO as a 'Dreadnaught' and is currently above Asia doing nothing, for now."

"What about visuals?" The Commander asked his right-hand man.

"Nothing sir. Just emissions." Bradford replied.

"Contact Fairy-One. Ask her if she can find out what it is." The Commander commanded his men. "And get Dr. Vahlen and Dr. Shen here ASAP." He added.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pft. Oops must not let them know. Ehem.

"A large UFO on stealth? No I did not spot any hostile stealth alien craft in orbit." I carefully chose my wording. Still they kept persisting that I send some crafts to investigate. So send them, I did. Of course they returned not spotting and hostile stealth alien crafts in orbit either. 'Cause there is really no Alien stealth craft in orbit… Except for me that is. Haha.

Eventually they gave up and went with the wait-and-see plan. Pffft. I love seeing them pull their hairs out trying to find me.

Since I've got nothing to do for now, I've began modifying Hikage as she is and fitted her with equipment that allows her to fight in 3-Dimensional space.

…….

I've finished modifying her and she's ready to rock now. What else to do? Going to an asteroid belt or a ring would take me months of travel in real space. I could do it faster, like mere minutes or days depending on the distance using the FTL drive but that'll reveal to the aliens that I've taken on space and would quite possibly retreat… Or not, it depends really but they would probably retreat, this isn't a game after all.

I may just start using the warp drive after they've gone low earth orbit or possibly inside the planet.

…. You know what? Screw that! Let's kill all Aliens. Today.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've traveled thousands upon thousands of kilometers in mere minutes, now the alien Temple Ship is in range of my only weapon capable of hitting targets light seconds of range away. My new spinal-mounted long-range Super Graviton Cannon. But before that, I need to prepare to make sure that they can't evade nor escape.

Like my tactic on the battle over Africa, I prepared my missiles and fire them, at the same time I put my E-War Suite at maximum and let it rip on the Temple Ship. Sure their E-War Suite is good enough to defend against my E-Attacks but it won't last long.

My charged spinal SGC fired… and unexpectedly… It's super effective! I destroyed part of their ship and its shields are dead, dead. Wut… OP much? Yes please.

… Oh? Trying to escape? Not happening. I opened my D-Storage and let Hikage in all her glory out and had her do a tactical warp putting her hundreds of kilometers away from her prey and had her push forward at flank speed towards the Temple Ship, guns blazing. Soon my missiles delivered their contents and payloads and things started to get worse for the Uber Ethereal. I can feel him my newly-fabricated Psionic Sensors and I can hear him with my Psionic trans-receiver.

Time to finish this, I put my ship-body at flank speed and set ALL of my cannons and lasers to auto-fire at hostile targets, then I looked at Hikage and spoke one sentence. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

As Hikage's controls soothed over to me, I selected the destroyer's primary guns, switch its form into a rail gun. Taking into account their acceleration, their angling and rotation, in range or not the projectiles will eventually hit that Temple Ship. In fact, when you use rail guns in space, you're always in range. ALWAYS. OPEN FIRE.

My proud flight of Shindens in all their glory are causing chaos to the Temple Ship, the Alien weapons hit hard and their targeting systems are good enough to track my Shindens, thankfully any hit my flight takes are absorbed by the elerium shields . In response my cute lil' buggers fires their auto-lasers towards the offending hostile vessel, little in effect for sure but still it keeps their weapons and crews something to shoot at, and it's not the destroyer that they're shooting.

I, as Hikage, took advantage of any and all openings the Temple Ship has, dealing large amounts of damage to the Vessel, eventually the Aliens got their shit together and started to actually shoot the one that poses a bigger threat, their vessel focusing on the Hikage and calling their allies on earth for assistance, unfortunately for them they won't be able to assist their Boss as the spinal SGC on Baikal finished charging. I took the Hikage and the flight of Shindens- make that two less Shinden, and made way for the stealth battlecruiser's SGC, revealing a nice line of fire from the Baikal unto the Temple Ship.

A beam of godly wrath streak through the void of space an struck the Temple Ship, it was not enough to outright blew the vessel into debris, however, it caused a series of explosions in the Temple Ship, eventually destroying the Vessel.

Welp. I just killed the Endgame Boss. Game over. Oh wait gotta send a message.

'Dear XCOM, I just ended your Alien problem. Check L2 for proof.
With love and kisses. Razgriz.'

AN:End of XCOM arc! T'was a nice run. For me anyway.
Also I've... err... "fixed" the scale problem of the Baikal-Class, I've also added a few more guns as someone suggested that it needs A LOT of guns going off simultaneously.

On a serious note, I haven't thought of where to go next. IF I still haven't decided in a few days, I may just re-write some chapters, ROB knows I need to rewrite them anyway.

Welp. Before anything else, I'd like to harvest resources in the Kuiper Belt. Just wanna make sure that I've got 'nuff supplies to last me a siege. Onwards! To Kuiper Belt!

Now then, what the actual fuck? My Admiralty Code is ROB? Seriously? Well, I'll definitely gather resources before going to another universe. Ain't gonna get caught with my pants down, no way in hell.

…And that's loaded now. I've gathered enough nanomaterials and nanomachines to make a dozen Baikals and still have enough left to build whatever I want now. Oh and I've got to tell them that this part of the belt is empty of resources.

'Dear XCOM, I've cleaned this part of the belt, nothing but rocks and gravel are left.
Sincerely, Razgriz.
PS. You take care now and stop being xenophobic.'

Aaaand sent. Now about that Trans-Universal Drive ROB installed in me... That sounded a bit wrong… Where's the tutorial about this? None? Crap. Ugh…! Oh a readme.txt! Lessee.

"Use sparingly. Spamming the use of the drive may cause the drive to explode and cause a black-hole. You have been warned…" Oi, you serious mate? If you wanna kill me that's not how you do it.
"Don't press the big red button unless it is an emergency appears. (i.e. Eldritch Attack)"
I looked at the big red button… Hai~ Pochitto~ *SFX*

…Hah!
…Shit I pressed it.

A warm and bright light suddenly assaulted me and caused my eyes to shut down to protect me from the sheer intensity of the light.

DAMN YOU ROB! YOU DON'T PUT A BIG RED BUTTON SOMEWHERE AND EXPECT SOMEONE NOT TO PRESS IT!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

As the warm from the light disappeared, I opened my eyes to discover that I am in a sea and my Baikal ship-body is gone, instead I am on my Yamato-like Fuji-class ship-body with its 4 glorious 46cm turrets and plethora of guns, lasers, missiles and torpedo weapon systems.

"What the fuck? Where's my Baikal?!" I panicked and hastily checked my D-Storage only to discover that it exceeded the capacity… and the pocket dimension should've long collapsed however it is still here so… ROB's doing? I tried to access my Baikal ship-body only to be rejected by my own system.

"What the… I am locked out of my Baikal? ROB what the actual fuck?!" I shouted at the skies and receive no replies.

I tried accessing my dropship but that too is out of the equation, so are my walking tanks and my Hikage. Luckily I found out that I can take the Shindens out of my storage. I did take out one unit and discovered that only the Shindens and the nanomaterials are available to be used.

Chaos came and I closed the 'chatbox'.

So if I get this straight… I'm in a earth, an earth-prime, as in a non-fiction earth. And I'm inside a game Wargaming made called World of Warships? Ugh… idontknowanythinganymore.

Wait! I'm alone on this side of the team… that means… I get to kill them? I put on an evil smirk as I got my ship-body move forward at ¾ speed.

I tested all my weapons, and found that they're all at top working conditions with almost-endless ammo in my D-Storage, I also tested the Shindens, to my luck they work but unfortunately the elerium shields don't. Nevertheless, as long as they don't use missiles, not that they do, they will still have a very hard time shooting down my Shindens, with the exception for the SGC and Flagship Equipment which I haven't tested nor do I want to show it to my enemies 'cause it may or may not work.

Speaking of which I send my Shindens out from the rear hangar of my ship-body and had them, all 10 of them assigned to guard me. Meanwhile I took a 2k units of nanomaterials and had my Baikal produce 20 more Shindens.

As soon as one of their ships came inside my weapons range, I peppered them with my 46cm railgun-convert and was surprised to find out that Wargaming's HP does NOT work against me. And now that I looked absolutely anywhere I didn't find any kind of HP on me either.

As the first victim of mine, a battleship, a Kongo-class who went roaring forward alone practically shouting 'shoot me in the face', rage-quitted after complaining in chat on how his ship was killed in just a single shot.

Soon, their fast destroyers came in packs of 2s and as soon as they knew I spotted them they popped their smokes and tried to get away. Now, in the game when a ship pops a smoke they'd be 'invisible' to the enemy side… Normally that is. As a bonafide FOG superbattleship I've got a plethora of sensors I can use to detect hostiles through smoke screens and thick obstacles, aaand since these are 'technically' WW2-era ships, those smokes are just plain old smoke, aaaand I can just use thermal sensors to detect them. Sooooo I shot the poor bastards… all 6 of them. Shit. Wargaming I hope you do your damn best to nerf me. I bowed towards my smart victims as an apology.

Soo… is that it? The game-mechanics works for them and not to me? ROB why are you punishing these poor souls?

Also speaking of bowing, my Mental Model is possibly clearly visible to the player's screens. I can just hide but since this is starting to be fun I won't.

Soon after their 4 battleship was sunk the players started to talk to each other and plan their moves. That's normal, after all getting sunk by a battleship and not getting close within 10km is pretty damn scary. 11 km is the closest they got to me, which are also the destroyer packs I sunk earlier.

Then waves upon waves of enemy aircrafts tried to reach me, but my 10 FOG Shindens absolutely wrecked those propeller crafts with judicious use of auto-lasers. While the aircrafts are being intercepted by my Shindens and those who managed to get past them were shot down by my auto-lasers and auto-cannons. Since the players were getting scared of approaching me I opened up the chat real quick and sent a message that 'I won't use my railguns so come at me bruh' and closed the chat down.

That got some of them baited. 2 Svetlanas, the only New Orleans and one Hatsuharu. However once they got within 10km range they too were shot and sunked with precision strikes from my 46cms. I opened the chat to see them complain, and complain they did. They accused me of breaking my word and using railguns at them, I told them that 'did you expect a REAL FOG Superbattleship won't be accurate at even at their maximum firing range?' And like children they still complained and said shit about me, not that I care, they can all talk shit all they want but in the end it's all shit-talking. No facts, none whatsoever.

The rest of their team came as soon as they saw their allies get murdered within 10km, it's really strange that they gained the courage to assault me only after I killed their allies within 10km. I guess gamers are gamers after all.

Of course their assault went as well as shooting fish in a barrel, I killed them all that is. The poor souls were shouting about my Wave-Force Armor, my Shindens and my weapons, but most importantly, they hated me for how my ship-body was able to move at 90 knots. 'Well what'd they expect from a REAL FOG Superbattleship' I say. 'fuk u dat was hax' they say.

……………………………….

After some time

After a LOT of matches and actually interfering on several ongoing matches just by having my ship-body sail somewhere, I finally felt bad and left the universe.

AN: Still couldn't find a new world to insert my SI into. Wrote this to get it outta my system.

Yah but I don't really play KC and while I know several characters, the rest, I don't.

Well, in that way thinking, what about a over arcing arc like say Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha?
I mean, the TSAB is a dimensional police unit, so that could be a way for a longer plot.
As for a side plot (one dimension stop-over), ever thought about Infinite Stratos?
Gundam 0083, Wing, Seed, 00, AGE, ect, could also be fun.

Just as: Macross/Robotech, Star Trek, Star Wars, StarCraft, Stargate, Above & Beyond, Farscape, Mass Effect, Ghost in the Shell, Appelseed, Patlabor, Dominion Tank Police, Neon Genesis Evangeline, TOS Battlestar Galactica, new Battlestar Galactica, Banner of the Stars & Crest of the Stars I & II, Anno 2070, Negima! Nagi Negi, ect, ect
