In the past, I've said each of the Primogen costs 15 XP due to their high Status. However, I believe the V5 Corebook states that a Camarilla Primogen/Anarch Revolutionary Councillor is worth four dots, so that's what I'll go with.
Perhaps, but becoming Prince Jackson's lieutenant also grants you the right to Embrace once per story. In theory, given enough time, you could amass a brood the size of Lodin's. In reality, I don't think the Prince would allow you to sire more than three childer at most. Thus, I've decided to make the Prince a five-dot Mawla. On the subject of the Embrace, do you guys think Artie would pass on the curse of Clan Nosferatu and create a new vampire?
On a different note, I'm considering retconning Artie to be a Nosferatu of the 10th generation, as opposed to the 12th he is now. This wouldn't change anything about his current stat block, but it would raise the ceiling on how high his Blood Potency can go.
More potent vitae means more dice for your Blood Surge, more effective healing, bonuses to Discipline rolls, and the ability to reroll Rouse checks for Disciplines below a certain level. However, the curse of Clan Nosferatu would also increase in severity, and you would become more restricted in your feeding options. Animals and blood bags won't satiate you, and even humans become a less efficient source of blood.

Okay so in this case you just rolled the Mawla and the Loresheet into one thing. I think that makes sense as you have mentioned that if Artie wanted to he could work towards replacing Damien as Sheriff, mostly because Damien himself isn't thrilled with the position.
If he did, I don't think it be because it would benefit himself at the expense of the childer. I could see him embracing someone to save their life either because their close to him or because they saved him. Artie as a Sire, would be a good parent. He'd would teach them the best he can so they can one day stand on their own two feet without him.
On a side note I'd think it be cool to pass on Artie's unique Bane to his theoretical Childer. The Bane manifesting as a cognito hazard scars.
So a definite maybe based on circumstances.

Oh this is an interesting coincidence. I was going to ask if anyine was interested in this Loresheet.
-[] Sense the Ley Lines: You have begin to occasionally glimpse throbbing red tendrils snaking through the earth: Ley Lines. (Descendant of Zelios Loresheet)(15 XP)
But besides, that you can organically work this change into the story due to the mystery that is Artie's Sire. Everyone could have made the reasonable assumption that, he was of a lower generation. 12 and 13 being the lowest without almost certainly being a Thin-blood.
With Artie's meteoric rise in prominence someone might be interested in knowing if he really is a 12 generation Neonate. And might request that his vitae be tested for potency.

Another thing I was going to ask the thread. Before we get any more Disciplines I think we should take this Loresheet trait to save on XP.
-[] Trade Among Equals: For all their suffering , the Low Clans benefitted from their adversity in one key way—they taught each other their powers. (Low Clan Loresheet)(12 XP)

I'm cool with Artie being a 10th gen it makes sense given how quickly he's been learning and how powerful he is for his age. I don't think Artie as he is right now would want to turn anyone but I can see him adopting a childe.
...you have mentioned that if Artie wanted to, he could work towards replacing Damien as Sheriff, mostly because Damien himself isn't thrilled with the position.
We'll get deeper into why Damien left the Anarch Movement to become Sheriff of Chicago, but to make a long story short, Damien wasn't enough of an ideologue to refuse the Prince when he offered a way to get Baby Chorus back together. That said, Damien prioritizes personal loyalty over political allegiance, so he isn't all that committed to the Ivory Tower either, despite being surprisingly (and scarily) effective at hunting down his old comrades. On that note, I hear there's an Anarch Baron out in Los Angeles who's got a thriving record label...
Aside from succeeding Damien, you could also get the fourth dot of Status with the Camarilla by being appointed archon by one of the Justicars. Alternatively, if you manage to destroy one of the Kindred on the Red List, you'll be conscripted as an Alastor and charged with hunting down the rest of the Camarilla's most wanted.
If [Artie] did, I don't think it'd be because it would benefit himself at the expense of the childe. I could see him Embracing someone to save their life, either because they're close to him or because they saved him.
In Vampire: The Requiem, there's a Nosferatu bloodline so inhumanly beautiful, they dive right back into the Uncanny Valley Mariana Trench. While there's no equivalent in the older Masquerade continuity, I envision Artie's sire as a living Greek statue at the head of a Sabbat force leaving death and destruction in its wake.
Honestly, I'm jealous of how the Ventrue get so many Loresheets about their bloodlines. It makes sense, given the Clan of Kings' obsession with lineage, but it'd be nice if the Nossies could pick up a few traits from their ancestors, too.

With Artie's meteoric rise in prominence, someone might be interested in knowing if he really is a twelfth-generation neonate and might request that his vitae be tested for potency.
Unless your sire was one of the Antediluvians or a notable Methuselah, or it's a formal situation, vampires outside the Clan of Kings don't care much about how many generations removed they are from Caine. Besides, in mechanical terms, Artie is no more powerful than before as part of the twelfth generation of Kindred. The ceiling is higher, but the floor hasn't risen.

-[] Trade Among Equals: For all their suffering, the Low Clans benefitted from their adversity in one key way—they taught each other their powers. (Low Clan Loresheet) (12 XP)
For this Loresheet, the Low Clans include the Brujah, Ministry, and the Hecata bloodlines, in addition to the Gangrel, Malkavians, and your own clan. If you choose to specialize in an out-of-clan Discipline you already know, such as Auspex or Fortitude, I'll be nice and refund two of the XP you already spent.
Yeah, I have a story arc with that exact premise in mind. Remember to ask Rosa Hernandez how you can help her prepare for what she sees as the inevitable war against the Lupines.

Alternatively, if you manage to destroy one of the Kindred on the Red List, you'll be conscripted as an Alastor and charged with hunting down the rest of the Camarilla's most wanted.
I'll have to look into what being an Archon entails. At the moment it sounds like being a hound to a sheriff but on a national possibly global scale.
Being an Alastair sounds like both a badge of honor and a punishment.
"Congratulations! You're one of the most fearsome Kindred alive! Now, go kill all the other kindred on that same list. Or else."
Absolutely! This is something I considered when you introduced Nick for the first time. Nick and Val being embraced or blood bonded to a kindred that isn't Artie. Is a situation that could end in a one man blood hunt if abuse is involved.
So 95% of the time I think Artie would try to stop that from happening. The number of kindred I think he could trust with his touchstones in such a case can be counted on his thumbs. An maybe not even that.
Now you got me think Artie is the childe of a true Nictuku or some variant Greek off shoot. That's scary because the Nosferatu Antediluvians is a scary bastitch.
Honestly, I'm jealous of how the Ventrue get so many Loresheets about their bloodlines. It makes sense, given the Clan of Kings' obsession with lineage, but it'd be nice if the Nossies could pick up a few traits from their ancestors, too.
So true, there's so much potential with the Nosses too. They're one of the few kindred who can have literal regional variations like Pokémon. It's stated in their lore that there exist many bloodline variations of Nosferatu kindred in certain locations.
On a side note, theirs nothing stopping you from coming up with your own if you really want to. You're a pretty solid storyteller and you manage that while also running this quest for us crazy nuts. 😁

You are truly a benevolent Storyteller. I wasn't expecting that so it makes it that much better. I'll make a list for the Loresheet so in a future vote people will know what discipline they can acquire.
Would the Tremere be considered a High Clan then? The book wasn't very clear on that.
If the Sheriff and Hounds are the local police department, then the Archons are the vampire FBI. Over the centuries, the Archons have divided themselves into specialized branches.
Dogcatchers are the Camarilla's go-to experts on the Lupines. While an informal distinction, many Princes ask for them specifically when the local "wildlife" gets out of hand.
Doppelgangers are deep-cover agents who infiltrate rival sects across the globe and perform internal security in Camarilla domains when the Justicars feel that the local Prince isn't up to the task.
E Division investigates matters of the occult and unknown phenomena beyond the experience of most Kindred. Many of the more flippant neonates refer to this group as the X-Files.
Josians hunt down those who consort with demons and uproot Gehenna cults. Any claims that they secretly investigate Noddist lore for evidence that Gehenna may, in fact, be upon us are entirely unfounded.
Quaesitors are almost entirely Tremere, and they handle all the magical threats: Ministry sorcerers, mortal Mages, or rogue members of their own clan.
You've got the gist of it. The Alastors are a specialized branch of the Archons, just like the ones I mentioned above. However, given the nature of their duties, they report directly to the Camarilla's Inner Circle.
There is a Nictuku Loresheet that comes with one of the Winter's Teeth comics published by Dark Horse Comics, but I haven't managed to get my hands on it.
If you were to ask DuSable or some other Warlock, they'd probably say yes. However, many Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra would disagree vehemently with the Usurpers on that point. In any case, Clan Tremere is too insular for you to make the sort of connections that would enable the use of this Loresheet Advantage.

Good news found the Loresheet and some new disciplines.
EDIT: Gosh darn it it's not letting me post the pictures. I gotta head to bed now. But I'll keep working at it.
I figured that was the case. I can't remember but has the Tremere Chantry been blown up yet? Because I know in lore the Tremere Pyramid basically exploded as it became impossible for them to be blood bound to each other.
Not really arguing the point just asking for clarification on the timeline.

Yes, the Second Inquisition purged Vienna back in 2008. While I'm at it, I should mention that in 2012, Theo Bell kicks off the Third Anarch Revolt in Prague by destroying Hardestadt.
Additionally, London's Metropolitan Police finishes wiping out the vast majority of the city's Kindred in 2013. Mithras may or may not be included among the (twice) dead.
Beat Still, My Great American Heart takes place in the 2020s.
[X] [ANITA] Let me record my reaction to Anita's arguments.
-[X] Anita made some points worth considering, but I can do more from within the Camarilla than outside.
[X] [COUNCIL] I like seeing democracy at work in the Kindred world. The Camarilla could learn a thing or two.
The Sheriff had been surprisingly accepting when you informed him of your trip to East Chicago with Gengis as a courtesy. Other licks might balk at announcing to the Chicago Camarilla's chief enforcer that they intended to meet with Anarchs. However, by now, you've gotten to know your boss and his history well enough that he'd be throwing stones in glass houses if he objected to you engaging in some intersectarian dialogue.
Still, you consider your words for a moment before responding. "My visit to the Anarch Center's turf could've gone a lot worse, that's for sure. It'd be one thing if I were the Prince's Herald, but one of his Hounds? If it weren't for Gengis backing me up, I doubt I would've been allowed to leave the city in one piece."
Damien hums as he fiddles with one of the pegs on his guitar. "So what did you think of the Anarchs' cause?"
"I'll admit that Anita Wainwright had some points about how the elders do things inside the Ivory Tower, but even so, I still believe that changing things from within will be more effective than laying siege to the whole thing. In terms of procedure, we could stand to take a page or two out of the Anarchs' book and extend the vote to more Kindred."
Damien doesn't quite snort, but the noise he makes is one of amusement. "The problem with running a Kindred democracy is that it doesn't matter if you have 99% of the vote if the one lick who doesn't like you is some thousand-year-old vampire with mind control powers."
You nod. "Yeah, Hobbes's theory about the natural equality of men kinda goes out the window when Disciplines get involved. Hey, didn't you use to run with the Anarchs before becoming Sheriff?"
"I did."
You hesitate for a moment before pressing on. Over the past few weeks, you feel you've gotten to know the Sheriff pretty well. You can ask him about his past without setting off the infamous Brujah temper, right? "...What made you decide to change allegiances?"
For a moment, you think Damien will refuse to answer and instead drown you out with the sound of his electric guitar. Instead, he just slumps his shoulders and sighs. "Why don't you take a seat, Artie?"
Damien takes the time to play a few chords as you seat yourself atop one of Baby Chorus's cajóns. Once you've settled in your seat, the Sheriff mutes his guitar strings with his palm before telling his story. "After the War of Chicago, I was all alone. The Sabbat and Lupines tore my bandmates apart - literally, in one case."
Damien's lip trembles. For a moment, you see not the Sheriff of Chicago but the fourteen-year-old orphan who ran numbers and sang on the street just to survive. "After the '90s, I spent decades trying to get Kathy to restart Baby Chorus with me. I tried going solo, but things just didn't work out."
"And then Prince Jackson came into the picture."
Damien nods. "Yeah, back in the 2000s. When I asked why he wanted me to be his Sheriff, the Prince said he needed someone who knew the city and its power players but didn't answer to licks like Annabelle, Ballard, and DuSable. A right hand who could follow orders and endure hardships."
"So you took the job?"
Damien shakes his head. "Not at first. The Prince could've forced me to do it, but he offered me a choice instead. I went to Kathy one last time to try and get Baby Chorus back up and running, but she refused. After that, I wandered the states, playing our music all over. Anarch, Camarilla - it didn't matter, really, so long as people were willing to listen."
"And then you came back to Chicago?"
Damien nods. "In exchange for putting Baby Chorus center stage, the Prince gets me as his Sheriff. Music as labor is an essential part of our artistic process, but if we wanted the money to get the band back together, we'd have to play the Suck for Prince Jackson."
As Damien gestures at the empty main floor of the Succubus Club, the door opens. You see Evan Klein enter the club alongside Kathy Glens and her sire, Nero. Not far behind are the Kindred musicians with Baby Chorus contracts but not official membership in the band. Scarlet Thompson of Clan Ventrue is a vocalist, Riley the Caitiff plays violin, and the Gangrel named Gareth Ray handles both the drums and the saxophone.
"Part-Timer!" Kathy calls out to Damien. "I thought you promised to leave Cammie business out of band practice!"
You raise your hands in mock surrender as you rise from your seat. "I was just leaving!"
You try your best not to flee like one of the rodents the other clans like to compare the Nosferatu to, but soon, Baby Chorus's attentions are focused solely on their music. On a whim, you decide to stay back and listen to Baby Chorus practice for their next gig, using your vampiric powers to hide from the wrath of Kathy Glens.
While Baby Chorus's discography is almost unclassifiable, their old songs and new musical forms both orbit a bright star of heavy blues-punk with a gothic tinge. Damien and Kathy shred their guitars with the supernatural speed and precision made possible only through the Celerity Discipline. No Presence, though - that'd be cheating.
Still, as good as the music is, you find your artist's eye drawn toward Damien. While your boss takes his duties as Sheriff seriously, you always sensed that law enforcement isn't where his heart lies. Though his darkish grey skin shows no sign of the Blush of Life, Damien looks closer to life here than out on the mean streets of Chicago.
It's difficult to understate just how big of a deal Baby Chorus is to Chicago's Kindred community. If you had to choose between assassinating the Prince and messing with Baby Chorus, you'd have better luck surviving the aftermath of a coup against Kevin Jackson. Aside from being a surprisingly fearsome political powerhouse, Baby Chorus is extremely good at and committed to what they do. That kind of sincerity is rare among the kine, let alone Kindred. Even the worst of Chicago's licks understand that Baby Chorus is one of the few redeeming features of the city's vampire subculture.
You've even heard that when Prince Jackson picked Damien to be his Sheriff, he had to publicly assure the court that Damien would get to play with Baby Chorus for as long as he wanted. Damien's old allegiance to the Anarch Movement was but an afterthought next to the idea that Baby Chorus's comeback would be missing its lead vocalist.
If it weren't for the Masquerade, Baby Chorus would have a record deal, international tours, merchandise - the entire panoply of fame. Instead, Baby Chorus has to settle for being the best damn band among Chicago's Damned. All it took to achieve their revival was for Damien to turn his back on the Anarchs. What are your thoughts on that?
[] [DAMIEN] Damien made the right call. True art and the people you love beat petty political squabbles any night.
[] [DAMIEN] Hey, if Prince Jackson offered to sponsor my artistic career, I'd have changed allegiances in a heartbeat.
[] [DAMIEN] I can't imagine ever turning my back on the Camarilla, even for the sake of my art and my loved ones.
[] [DAMIEN] It looks like the lead singer of the best damn band in Damned Chicago is just another sellout.
[] [DAMIEN] Let me use my own words to describe how I feel about the Sheriff.
Debt to Damien (Debt 2)
You've promised the Sheriff of Chicago that you'll perform a yet-unspecified service for him in the future.
Damien (Mawla 4) Solid backup.
The Sheriff of Chicago is pleased with your recent appointment. Most of the Prince's appointees are more diplomats than warriors, so someone who can handle themself in a fight is a welcome addition to the crew. Maybe in a few years, you'll be ready to replace Damien as Sheriff so he can return to Baby Chorus full-time.
I'm disappointed too. The only notable ability is HUNTED-BECOMES-HUNTER(5dot), based on how it was written it would give plus 2 dice to any contested roll made between Artie and a Diablerists. Which by my understanding also counts to surviving being Diablerized, which would be a cool body stealing trick, but is also a massive gamble.
If you had to choose between assassinating the Prince and messing with Baby Chorus, you'd have better luck surviving the aftermath of a coup against Kevin Jackson. Aside from being a surprisingly fearsome political powerhouse, Baby Chorus is extremely good at and committed to what they do.
I can see that being the case. Every band has some fanatical fans and in this case those fans are magical superpowered vampires with loose morals and are prone to violent frenzy when triggered.
[X] [DAMIEN] Damien made the right call. True art and the people you love beat petty political squabbles any night.
Damien wasn't interested in being sheriff but he did want to get the band back together. So he sold his time and effort to Prince Jackson, so he can have what he loved doing back in his unlife.
[] [DAMIEN] Hey, if Prince Jackson offered to sponsor my artistic career, I'd have changed allegiances in a heartbeat.
I feel this misses the point of Damien's story and it doesn't resonate with Artie point of view either in my opinion.
[] [DAMIEN] I can't imagine ever turning my back on the Camarilla, even for the sake of my art and my loved ones.
Again I don't think this resonates with Artie to be honest. He was introduced into the Camerilla in a rather friendly and non-antagonistic way. I think under the wrong circumstances Artie would side with his loved ones over the Camerilla. It's just he's never been put in a situation where those two groups conflicted, at least not yet.
Using the Captain America analogy, Artie and Steve are Lawful Good not Lawful Stupid. I can see both of them rising up against the tyrannical Prince Lodin, if the circumstance of the quest had been different.
[] [DAMIEN] It looks like the lead singer of the best damn band in Damned Chicago is just another sellout.
Feels like misplaced aggression. Artist of all strips have to find a balance between what they enjoy doing and what will put food on the table. For some these two things align for other not so much.

This comment makes me wonder about the extent to which this thread's opinions on Kindred politics were informed by Calhoun's dismissal of the Anarchs back during the introductory arc.
Had Artie chosen to speak with Anita and MacTavish back during that first night in Elysium, you would have gotten Anita's sales pitch earlier and had the option to join the Anarchs. However, since you didn't ask, Artie had no idea how to get in touch with the Movement.

I think this is absolutely the case. I know for me specifically I was learning alongside Artie in all this. So just like an impressionable kid my view on kindred politics were shaped by Calhoun's narrative.
Had you been in Damien's shoes, you doubt you would've done things differently. If Anita Wainwright offered you the chance to reunite with Nick and the resources to create art that stirs emotion even in walking corpses, you'd have said yes in a heartbeat. Even the Sabbat would get at least a moment's consideration.
The political battlegrounds where Kindred struggle against each other are meaningless when placed next to an opportunity to create something people will remember long after you're ash atop a funeral pyre. Years from now, you want to still inspire people with the work you create these nights. You want to spend more time with your brother and reconnect with Valerie. You want so many things. However, there are just some things you can't get from getting caught up in the Jyhad.
You lean against the wall for a while, closing your eyes and letting Baby Chorus fill your head with thoughts of what could be. Only when the music stops and Kathy Glens begins debriefing the band that you finally take your leave of the Succubus Club.

Located in Bronzeville, Chicago's oldest black enclave, the Stewart-Freeman Academy is a college prep school whose small size belies its generous funding and a reputation for producing many of the South Side's female politicians. Originally established as an all-girls school, the Academy opened its doors to all genders during the early 1960s. Still, judging by the class photos hanging from the walls of the school's entrance hall, the student body remains predominantly female and nonwhite.
You turn your gaze away from the pictures to spot a face you've previously only seen on TV and posters plastered all over town. "Excuse me, ma'am. Are you Merriam Brown?"
The alderwoman turns her face toward you with a politician's smile, only to falter and freeze in fear as she sees the scars left by your Embrace. Still, it only takes her a moment to recover from her shock. "O-Oh, yes. And you are?"
"Arturo Delacruz," you reply with a practiced smoothness born out of having this sort of interaction many times before. "Never thought I'd bump into one of the candidates for mayor tonight."
"Arturo Delacruz…You're an artist, correct?"
"That's right," you say, pleased to be recognized. "Aside from my creative endeavors, I do a lot of work with the city's veteran community."
You can almost see the gears in Alderwoman Brown's turning as she gazes past your scars with a thoughtful expression. Finally, she says, "Would you consider creating something for my campaign? You'd be paid, of course."
In the back of your mind, you feel the by-now familiar tugging of the Presence Discipline drawing your gaze toward this mortal politician. Now, it is your turn to be the calculating political player. You remember Alderwoman Brown being an alumna of the Stewart-Freeman Academy. If Naomi Stewart hasn't fed this mayoral hopeful her vitae, you'll swallow your paintbrush.
In the end, you decide on a non-committal reply. "I'm open to the idea, but I'd want it to be something special. If we're lucky, it might even become as iconic as the poster Shepard Fairey made for Obama's 2008 presidential campaign."
"Of course, of course. An artist of your caliber can do more than just graphic design work." A transparent attempt at flattering a local celebrity, but the praise is sincere.
"As much as I'd love to stay and talk business, I have an appointment with Ms. Stewart-Freeman. Do you know where I can find her office?"
Though it's been decades since she graduated from the Academy, Alderwoman Brown knows the school like the back of her hand. Within minutes, you find yourself knocking on the door to Naomi Stewart's private quarters in the mansion's south wing. A few moments later, the door opens, revealing the Kindred in charge of the school.
"Ah, Mr. Delacruz. Please, come in."
Expensive polished wood lines most of Naomi Stewart's office, and each wall has at least one bookshelf filled with hardcover books: academic works, political treatises, and histories of the African-American experience, among others. Once the two of you have seated yourself on opposite sides of her desk, Naomi starts the conversation. "I must say, I was surprised to receive your letter. When one of the Prince's Hounds wants to meet me, it's usually not for a chat over a cup of blood."
"Well, I wouldn't be much of a Nossie if I couldn't surprise people." After a moment, you reveal one of the cards in your hand. "You know, I ran into Merriam Brown on the way here. Is she one of your ghouls?"
You carefully watch Naomi to gauge her reaction. However, her face betrays no subterfuge. You're unsure whether it's out of genuine truthfulness or fear of being caught in a lie. "Yes. Alderwoman Brown is one of my retainers."
You hum. "Having one of your people become mayor of Chicago would be quite the win for you, wouldn't it? I'm sure you've imagined all the things you could do with one of your servants holding the keys to the city."
Naomi's lip curls as she shakes her head. "Winning the election would be Merriam's victory, not mine. My vitae may grant her power, but the ability to wield it properly is all hers."
You digest this information. Kindred turning mortal politicians into pawns is a tale as old as the first vampire. From what you've managed to gather, much of Prince Lodin's grudge against Maldavis stemmed from his inability to influence the mayor the Anarchs' former leader had put into power. However, it seems Alderwoman Brown is more than just a flesh puppet of Naomi Stewart. There may be some truth to the perception that she's kinder than the corporate sharks the Blue Bloods usually Embrace.
However, there are also other lines of questioning worth pursuing. For instance, some of the ultraconservatives within the Chicago Camarilla see Naomi as an accident waiting to happen. They fear she may break the Masquerade for some "greater good" and put the entire court at risk. Given your own ambitions, you're inclined to view this rumor as a point in her favor. Still, it'd be a good idea to see how much danger Ms. Stewart poses to the First Tradition.
There's also the persistent rumor that Naomi is angling for the role of Ventrue Primogen. Celia's words about the internal politics of the Clan of Kings still occupy your mind. Offering to help her ascend to the Primogeniture could go a long way in making Chicago a better place. However, are you prepared to risk the wrath of Horatio Ballard should word of your alliance with Ms. Stewart reach the ears of the court?
Then there's the rumor among your fellow Nossies that Naomi is training a class of thin-bloods to perform covert operations on her behalf. While it's unlikely that she'll confess to doing such a thing, carefully wording your questions could reveal information that might come in handy later.
How will you approach this conversation with Naomi Stewart?
[] [NAOMI] Write-in.
You can also take this opportunity to ask Naomi about things unrelated to the topics I outlined above and get a better feel for her character. Of course, whether or not she answers depends on how you word your question.
Just a tentative dialogue for Artie to follow. I'm posting to be review by the thread for changes, additions and/or removals.
[] [NAOMI] A lot of this is simply information gathering a trying to get a better idea on her character. We've heard some promising things but we should verify that information before moving forward.
-[] How did you find such a capable retainer like Merriam Brown? Was it a quirk of chance or were you head hunting at the ?
(Both to break the ice and see how long she might have been planning this.)
-[] What was her life like before and after her embrace? Has her opinion on humans changed over her life?
-[] What are her thoughts on the threats to the Chicago Kindred? Werewolves, S.I., Sabbat, etc.
-[] And if she had the means how would she resolve the problems?
(Let's see if her and Artie are of a similar mind. We might get insight into how she handles threats or issues if in a position of strength.)
-[] Where does she see her self in XX years? A life with theoretically no finish line must make having drive difficult to hold onto?
(Trying to gauge her ambition and her willingness to admit it)
-[] What were her thoughts on Nash's trial and the Traditions he broke?
(Trying to gauge what her thoughts are on the traditions.)
-[] What was the former prince Lodin like from your experience? What lessons can be learned from his rule and subsequent fall?
-[] I heard through the grapevine that Ballard might make a go at the Ventrue Primogen seat. What are her thoughts?
(Gauging her opinion of Ballard and the position.)
While there's no equivalent in the older Masquerade continuity, I envision Artie's sire as a living Greek statue at the head of a Sabbat force leaving death and destruction in its wake.
Get this Rogue. I found a canonical variant of the Nosferatu that fits your description. They're called the Guhuri, they are native to Africa, the clan bane is greatly effected by the kindred's disposition. Their appearance can vary between angelic heralds to terrible demon lords, these changes can occur when ever the kindred experience a severe change in what is effectively their mental state. Mechanically, I think this means they can temporarily shut off their clan Bane, the down side is that if they can't maintain composure they could swing in either direction of monstrous ugliness or eldritch beauty. Culturally the Guhuri are very similar to the Ventrue as they rule like kings over the other clans. Their disciplines are Potence, Presence, and Animalism.
Even better one of their most infamous members was a Kindred warlord named Eze the Demon Prince. He actively ignored the first tradition and was a prolific diablerist, though as far as I can tell he had no affiliations with actual Demons. He was just an awful person to anyone not his ghoul, kine, or servants.
This is in the book, 'Kindred of the Ebony Kingdom'.
Naomi Stewart is really weird for a Venture and her approach to ghouls is really interesting, and when you add the rumors of her training thin-bloods you get a very practical and merit focused and odd Kindred. She seems cool though.
