Well, he has a message to you, personally

Article:
"Someone says to me: [Ben Affleck's] Batman killed a guy. I'm like, 'F**k, really? Wake the f**k up," he said.

In reference to Watchmen, he said: "Once you've lost your virginity to this f**king movie and then you come and say to me something about like 'my superhero wouldn't do that.' I'm like 'Are you serious?' I'm like down the f**king road on that."

"It's a cool point of view to be like 'My heroes are still innocent. My heroes didn't f**king lie to America. My heroes didn't embezzle money from their corporations. My heroes didn't commit any atrocities.' That's cool. But you're living in a f**king dream world."

*shrug* Zack signed on to do a 'Batman' movie, not 'Bat costumed murdering vigilante' movie. If he didn't LIKE that, he can go make a movie somewhere else. If he IS making a 'Batman' movie he should obey the rules of the character, including he doesn't kill.

Or like guns, which Zack ALSO got wrong.

So, yeah....

Why do you think I like comic books in the first place, Mr Snyder?

Also obligatory vid

I feel like if had a speechwriter Snyder could communicate those ideas in a way to make people go "Oh, I get it now" and not just think he's a stupid douche.

Wouldn't make the movies good. I don't even think his movies communicate what he thinks they communicate that well at all.

A story that takes the position that anyone with power who isn't held accountable to the people (whether that be a government or a superhero) will inevitably do horrible things with it and fundamentally can't be trusted is a pretty punk idea that I can totally get behind. I just wish that it wasn't some Hollywood dudebro doing it.

All citizens should be issued an emergency kryptonite crystal just in case.

IMO, with Batman, I find that that sort of story works best in the Tower of Babel/The OMAC Project sense, because it still has Batman not trying to kill, but it shows that his closed off desire for control can lead to some really bad places.
