Awakened Mook quest

[X] Plan: We Were Built to Die for You, We have Failed
-[X]You returned to deliver valuable info to high command after being heavily wounded, you should have died, but it wasn't your time just yet. +2 Character points, High command appreciates your efforts.
-[X]You were the sole survivor of an ambush that destroyed the rest of your squad. +2 character points. Can be taken alongside another option. However, this option has the negative of getting you a minor reputation for getting your squadmates killed, not exactly the best, so you may have to go without backup in some scenarios.
-[X] Does this unit have a soul? You are a robotic mage alternative developed to even the odds. An android that can perform magic, and has a built in flight rig. But unlike your brethren you are sapient, not merely sentient. (Spells+Tech/body upgrades. Also lower options for ace interaction outside of combat. Though you have an option to later reveal that you are a robot after interacting as a human in a space suit with the protag for most of the series.) +2 Character point
-[X]You are part of the EDF, the Earth Defense Forces. Fighting against the rebellious colonies. (Anti resistance option)

I think playing at the angle of the Bad Luck Charm would be interesting. It also provides our character major problems to deal with both in their own head and outside having been built for the sole purpose to fight and die in the place of their creators but failed in doing so.
Edit: I'm not to sure about the faction option yet, as I don't really see the rebellion as having the infrastructure to produce androids. However I'm entirely willing to change my mind if any of you want!

@dgr11897 Just to be sure, are you aware of the vote-tallying system on this site?

Also, what would the ERROR option have been?

Any selected faction would have the ability to produce androids.

It would have been fairly random. And I do know of the vote tallying system's existence, I just can't figure out how to use it.

I believe the choice of a distinction is a "pick one":
What have you done that has freed you from being a mook? (Pick one)
Edit: Nvm. Missed the middle part somehow.

Top right, Thread Tools -> Vote tally
Enter a post range (you can also select threadmarks, e.g. begin at the last one and go to the end of the thread).
Then press Tally. That's it.

If you sort by Task, people can also vote like this:
[X][Task1] A
[X][Task2] B
Then you get separate results for all tasks.

Also if people vote in several posts, only the last one in the range is counted.

- [X] You are part of a Private Military Company operating on the edge of the system, fighting for whoever pays the most. (PMC option)

-[]You are a member of ELF, the Europa Liberation Front. A rebellious group on the outer edges of the solar system, fighting against the forces of earth for your freedom. You may or may not be allied to OGRE, the Orbital Group for Resisting Earth, And/or lead by ORC, Orbital Resistance Command. (Resistance option, Warning, UPHILL BATTLE. If you pick this, take +1 CP you're going to need it.)

I'm amused at the thought of an expendable robot drone that wakes up... due to an error in her software/hardware. Probably because ELF doesn't have the resources for proper quality-control; they're working off bootleg designs, 3-D printed components, really just whatever they can get their hands on...

Edit: And -almost- ninjaed by Unseelie, so,
[X] Plan Error in the System
I mean, a PMC could easily be running with even more resource shortages than the ELF...

Alright, should I call the vote soon? I can't write updates during the week, mostly, so I'd like to try and get as many updates stuffed into this timespan as possible, but if players prefer I can keep this vote going for a bit.
Edit: Given the current winning plan, this Song seems a bit relevant.

As much as I would normally say that you should simply do as you see fit seeing as this is your quest and you can do what you want with it.
I should point out however that it seems really early in the voting cycle and I might be a bit biased considering.

[X] Plan: We Were Built to Die for You, We have Failed
Also I was wondering what you guys thought of the faction vote. I'm sorta leaning towards changing to ELF but I want to get your guys's takes on it.

Ok, calling the vote for plan, we were built to die for you, we failed.
Next up will be a vote where you spend your char points on stuff. Mostly name, look, and quirks. But there are options to get a custom/signature spell or maybe a unique component/feature. So think about what you may want for that.
Edit: Update will be on either Saturday or Friday.

Chargen 3
Plan we were built to die for you wins.
Alright, you have 11 Character points
Name:
[ ] (Default) No name, you're just a bot after all.
[ ] Serial number (write in what it is), can include numbers and letters, please no more than 10 total characters. 1 CP
[ ] Codename/callsign (Write in) 2CP
[ ] Short nickname, (write in) no more than 6 letters. 3 CP
Body design:
[ ](Default) Skeletal and clearly robotic
[ ] Your design conceals the fact that you are a robot, you mostly look like a human in a suit. 1CP
[ ] You are in fact a cyborg, with cloned biological components. More arcane hommunculus route. 4CP
Face:
[ ] (Default) One eyed robotic face.
[ ] Human looking metallic face, think Exos from destiny. 1 CP
[ ] Fully human looking face, but an utterly average one. 2CP
Voice:
[ ] (Default) Mute/Text only to communicate.
[ ] Robotic voice 1 CP
[ ] Emotionless, human sounding voice (generic) 3CP
Body stats (you can invest up to 4 CP here):
[ ] Strength (melee combat power)
[ ] Mana capacity (you need more of this if you want to cast a lot of spells)
[ ] Armor
[ ] Mana efficiency (ranges attack power/cost.)
[ ] Speed
[ ] Sensors
[ ] Carrying Capacity
[ ] Melee enhancement (how good the melee weapons you have are, if you have any)
[ ] Mass-Production Status (cheaper replacement body parts)
Personality/mental stats: (each of these costs one character point for the first level.)
[ ] Charisma Lv 1
[ ] Wisdom Lv 1
[ ] Science (Knowledge of scientific theorems and equations, allows you to use elements of advanced science in your plans(I.E knowing that shooting X will cause chemical reaction Y)) Lv 1
[ ] Technical (knowledge of technology, mundane and magical. Allows you to try and exploit vulnerabilities in enemy gear or upgrade your own given time.) Lv1
[ ] Arcane (Knowledge of magic) Lv 1
[ ] Cleverness (underhanded schemes and anything related to intelligence not covered by the above) Lv 1
[ ] Guts Lv1
[ ] Piloting/flight skills Lv1
Signature spell: Through arduous study and careful experimentation, you have created an improved version of a spell you know. Base cost of 1 CP. Choose a spell and how you improved it. You can choose 1 or 2 mods, but must have at least one mod. You may only have 1 signature spell at this time.
Universal mods (most of these can be taken with any spell, each costs 1 CP)
[ ] Quick Casting
[ ] Charged (A version of a spell which has a longer casting time and higher power)
[ ] Long range (Can only be taken with spells that have range.)
[ ] Elemental power (Tints a spell's effect with the chosen element. On non combat spells this can allow the spell to deal damage or boost things it otherwise couldn't)
-[ ] Fire
-[ ] Ice
-[ ] Lightning (Higher Mana costs, way more damage, especially to technological foes)
-[ ] Radiant (Shorter range, mildly higher cost, but will rip the target apart with a little time)
Default spells (You will have access to normal versions of these no matter what)
[ ] Magic bullet, a self explanatory spell, at baseline a signature version of this spell will have higher damage, firerate, and range.
-[ ] Barrage, multiple smaller spell circles fire out smaller bullets when you attack. 1CP
[ ] Sunder, a spell which creates a magic circle on a target which then rips a chunk out of said target, baseline signature version upgrades damage and area of effect, but does nothing for the long-ish casting time. Mostly used for anti capital ship operations.
-[ ] Storm, Turns the kinetic force into a rain of magic bullets on a target. 1 CP
[ ] Barrier, a spell which creates a roughly circular barrier of magical force. The signature version is cheaper and stronger.
-[ ] Spherical barrier, simple enough, a version which protects you from all sides. You can't cast anything else while it is up though. 1CP
[ ] Mana Ping, a sensor spell which sends out a pulse of Mana and reads the return. Signature version has higher range and resolution. It costs more though meaning you can't entirely ditch the normal version. (Note, adding elemental power to this will make the Mana pulse damage enemies somewhat.)
-[ ] Disruptor ping, a modification to the Mana Ping spell which allows the pulse of Mana to disrupt other spells, in particular it scrambles enemy sensors in an area for a time. 1CP
Advanced spells (you are developing these from scratch, other units don't have them, aces however, very well could)
[ ] Overdrive, a spell which builds up power then pumps it into your flight and enhancement spells, making you waaayy stronger, faster, and more durable for a little while. It has a high ish cost and takes a bit to cast though (elemental power will cause you to be shrouded in the chosen element, boosting melee damage, rip and tear, rip and tear until it is done) 1CP
-[ ] Ripper, by concentrating the power into your hands and feet you can drastically boost melee damage. However, you won't be able to use your gandr, and thus can't use any ranged spells, while this is active. 1CP
[ ] Magic blade, a weapon of pure magical force, gives you an option for short range engagements. (Cheaper melee boosting option, compared to overdrive)
-[ ] Vorpal blade, a few modifications to the blade allow it to negate and pass through magical defenses with rather, disturbing ease. 2 CP
[ ] Wizard's fortress, a magic spell which turns an area into your domain, drawing in Mana from the land, and allowing you to extend your spellcasting to anywhere within it. Or to boost your existing spells to new levels. (This spell allows you to duplicate your spells within its area, letting you fire dozens of magic bullets, create walls of magical barriers, and generally making you very hard to beat. However, the spell takes a lot of time and energy, and won't help you too much if the battle forces you to move out of position.
-[ ] Space fortress, a few modifications make the array free of the requirement of being on the ground but they also heavily limit the size, power, and overall abilities of the array. (Smaller fortress, you have to stay in one place to use it, but you can use it while in space or in the air away from large objects.) 1 CP
[ ] Magic beam, a beam of magical energy, nuff said. Higher damage and cast time than magic bullet, and deals constant damage while consuming a constant stream of Mana.
-[ ] Homing beams, lasers can't turn like that!, adds Homing properties to the beam, allowing it to shoot around corners and almost always hit its target. This does however decrease the power of the beam. 1 CP
