Wrachïod Krom's Motivation by Pathos (Analysis) (+10)
Okay, so what's our ultimate goal? Take control of the kingdoms so we can protect mankind from the Grimm and reveal our true heritage and prove our family was right all along? Or take control of the kingdoms so we can tear everything down and wipe out humankind leaving Remnant a lifeless orb except for the Grimm?
Ash to Ash
In the name of "self-expression", the peoples of Remnant have torn down your family and burned the work of generations to the ground. It is only right that the same will happen to them.
Goal: Destroy human civilization.
Reward: Win the game.
Failure: Lose the game.

Revenge.

We're a morally and emotionally compromised person with likely several undiagnosed and untreated mental illnesses that had her entire family and way of life taken from her and burned away in a war that followed with everyone else in the world getting together to celebrate an annual pissing on the ashes of said family and way of life. We've buried the anger, hatred, sadness, resentment, and grief deep enough that we pass the time with attempts to hurt other people to make quiet and calm the demons that are the things we refuse to face, the emotions and ideas that we cannot bring ourselves to even contemplate. All while still subconsciously acting on our desires as a person, and not some kind of Wraith of Vengeance, as we research, we learn, and teach the next generation so that we achieve immortality in the greatest gift one can give, knowledge.

Our ultimate goal is the Death of Remnant and everyone who didn't die defending the people we loved as much as we could love another and Wrachiod Krom will either die alone and unloved at the feet of someone who killed Remnant's greatest mind and one of the greatest Dust Casters to have ever lived to delay the apocalypse that Wrachiod would have wrought or looking across a dead world knowing that whatever her last words are will be the last words of Mankind.

If we don't keep pushing ourselves on the Dark Path eventually we'll start to reach out to others and make connections, friendships, and maybe even some kind of twisted affection. We'll stray from just spreading our corruption and power across the world and become simply some kind of wise woman who knows the frailty and weaknesses of Humanity better than anyone but has chosen to enjoy those parts of Humanity which are soft and strong. The wonder of watching a single decision of ours touch the lives of everyone who will ever live.

Should we fall from our path we would become far worse than Oswald Ozpin would ever be. We would be the person who walked the Path of Darkness and turned away still intact, if not entirely whole. We who know more about the power of the soul and are in possession of means to put that knowledge to use like it never has been in recorded history could put the strength of the Grimm to the test like it never has before. Such a thing would risk making it impossible to stop Humanity from overcoming their demons.

Should we fall instead of fail, we risk making it impossible for anyone to ever follow in our footsteps again.

-------------
This is written a little tongue in cheek but could be considered true from certain points of view.

And now I've got this hilarious idea that Usagi or someone else that works close to us views us a someone driven by our past and urged onward by our personal demons and is working towards making us more of a person. Whether they even suspect the truth is something that'd be fun to play with.
*throws idea onto Omake pile*.

Very, very well said. Since it's around 500 words, I'm giving this analysis the omake treatment: +10 to a roll of your choice this turn, and a character sheet.

@Pathos

Choose One:
-Ruby Rose (RWBY Canon, Volume 3)
-Weiss Schnee (RWBY Canon, Volume 2)
-Blake Belladonna (RWBY Canon, Volume 4)
-Yang Xiao Long (RWBY Canon, Volume 1)

[X]Plan World Manipulation

Honestly, I'm a little bit more concerned with blinding Vale's intelligence service than the Crime Ring, but it's not really a big deal. Not a deal-breaker by any means. Everything else looks good, so I'm down.

Also, that's a chilling tale, Pathos. What kind of Big Bad would we be then?

I'll take one Ruby Rose, please and thank you.

And yeah, I had been giving it some thought for a while and realized that Wrachiod Krom is a very broken person and that she has literally no one she talks to about the truth except for people who were either about to die (Fey Crime ring, etc.) or someone who was supposed to be loyal and faithful, who we had been willing to trust when we suffered a moment of weakness, that then betrayed us (Weyland Schnee).

Hey, snazzy plan names are important :)

I know. Last quest in RWBY I was in, had to spend a decent bit of time coming up with catchy names. And as I was also sticking with a theme...

Or take control of the kingdoms so we can tear everything down and wipe out humankind leaving Remnant a lifeless orb except for the Grimm?

Revenge, and also getting to where when someone outs us to the public, we're so popular and beloved, it gets disproved.

Oh the smile on my face, if I didn't know exactly where those stats came from I might be nettled but now I'm just amused~.

... so Ruby isn't compatible with Crusader Kings Two because of her Silver Eyes.
Estate: Movement
Code: Light
That looks like World of Darkness.
Aspect 2
Domain 1
Realm 1
Spirit 4
90% sure that's World of Darkness.
EDIT: Never mind.
Gift of the Forge (Lesser Creation, Domain of Weapons)
Stasis (Major Destruction, Domain of Movement)
So the Silver Eyes work with not only the Stasis, but Ruby's gift with weapons?
EDIT:
Huh, Nobilis stats?

...weird.

Wonder why.
OK, since you know what system the stats have come from, can you explain to us what they signify?

[X]Plan World Manipulation

someone who was supposed to be loyal and faithful, who we had been willing to trust when we suffered a moment of weakness, that then betrayed us (Weyland Schnee).
And that will surely not have any long term effect on us! Actually though, Weyland's betrayal is the main reason I'm fine with going further on the Dark Path this turn, despite not wanting to go the genocide route. We just got burned by one of the only people we thought we could trust, and responded by killing him horribly. It makes a lot of sense narratively that that would cause a setback in our character growth. Hell, it would work if that was the catalyst for us embracing the dark path fully, though the storyline would be rather tragic.

Maybe we need a pet then?

We need someone to keep us company, and yet won't reject us for being a A-class war criminal.

We're the Big Bad. It'd be dull if we were to not be super evil. That's for every other quest ever.

Well-adjustedness is for the weak. And heroes. Same difference. Though, really, most of the heroes aren't well adjusted either...

That's up in the air... and kinda been the subject of fights.
Currently our character is focused on the genocide angle. But the QM has mentioned there will be opportunities to develop our character into a more 'global domination' scheme.
EDIT: Blake'd by QM.

Yeah, I knew that our character was mad and bad and out for rewengy, but there are many different forms of revenge. There's the 'kill them all' approach, the puppeteer approach ( 'they think they are free but see them all dance on my strings') ,the overt conquest - there's lots of ways to go about it. My question was which one we had planned.

Really puts this turns martial options into perspective.

Well, I don't mind some well adjustment. If only because sanity comes with more benefits.

Friends, pah.

Romance is where it's at

Seriously tho, since that other quest ended with deciding to build World's Peace for fun and profit, I'd rather go Destruction route here.

Might be persuaded otherwise, but so far...

Look, our end game is obviously turning ourselves into a stupidly big dragon. Whatever we do after that is "Whatever we want."

I want to breath out an unending kaleidoscope of Semblance effects, and generally go around making "Atlas" miserable, because screw them, but I'm sure other options will come up.

Nobilis Wiki

I am not using an unmodified Nobilis system either - don't read too much into the setting details.
Hm. OK then.
Estate: Movement
Code: Light
So Estate is what part of 'reality' the character represents, so Ruby is all about movement.
Code... that's where we're getting into setting details. It's seemingly what your character's dos and don'ts are, like the traditional Paladin oaths. The Code of The Light under Affiliations has:
  1. Humanity must live, and live forever.
  2. What must be done ought be done cleanly.
  3. Humans must be protected, particularly from themselves.
That all sounds pretty much like Ruby, but I don't know how much of this you are translating to the quest.
Aspect 2
Domain 1
Realm 1
Spirit 4
Aspect is... by its own definition pretty broad. It's basically what makes you a Special Snowflake, mentally and physically. At Aspect 2, Ruby is ranked Legendary, and is defined as 'World Record Performance - What the best humans in a given category could do'.
Domain is controlling the character's Estate, in this case, movement. They also allow for Miracles, which we'll get into in a bit. Rank 1 in Domain is a Baron/Baroness, and can make what are called Ghost Miracles, temporary partially-real copies of higher-ranking Miracles.
Realm is about how well you govern your own private kingdom/home, or Chancel. The Wiki's a bit sparse on all that.
Spirit is the noble's connection to their Imperator, or god. This I am assuming is what's getting reworked. But it's still the 'magic' stat, and the connection here I am assuming is to Ruby's Code and inheritance as a Silver-Eyed Warrior. At rank 4 'Conflagration', she's pretty in touch with her 'protect humanity' nature.

So by her stats, she's not one for government and has comparatively lesser connection to 'movement'. Instead, she's all about making wondrous works, outthinking and outfighting the enemy.
She is not the King's advisor, but the King's Champion.
Known Miracles:
Gift of the Forge (Lesser Creation, Domain of Weapons)
Stasis (Major Destruction, Domain of Movement)
Miracles. They're how you tell reality 'No, YOU MOVE!'. Each miracle has to tie into an attribute.
The wiki doesn't say what the difference between 'major' and 'minor' are, but we do know about Creation and Destruction:
Creation - The act of creating something, either from naught or from existing matter.
Destruction - The act of destroying something, by either transforming or annihilating it.
Yeah, that was kinda obvious.
But what it seems to mean is Ruby can Macgyver all sorts of fun things up, and destroy a target's ability to move. She's just not highly attuned to those domains yet.

So @Redshirt Army, how'd I do?
So in other words, "Shut up Chae, and don't stir the pot." Got it.
... I'd phrase it more as 'We're all kinda running with our own ideas, and the last few times we tried sharing it got heated'.
Seriously tho, since that other quest ended with deciding to build World's Peace for fun and profit, I'd rather go Destruction route here.
Wait, what quest was that?
Look, our end game is obviously turning ourselves into a stupidly big dragon. Whatever we do after that is "Whatever we want."
Salem: "I am a dragon. You are now Atlesian."
Cinder: "... But I'm from Mistra-" *dies in magic fire*
HOORAY FOR DANK MEMES!
