Because I see a lot of interesting mechanics on that one, but I am curious to know what you had planned.

And what would have been the Endgame Power Level of that mutation, in which those powers would have become when evolved by Apocalypse?

Lets just say you would have to spend actions in "The Other: Catagory, where your evil dopleganger would be able to do things they find good, while you have to cover their tracks with your own.

Basically, imagine Dr. Jackylle and Mr. Hyde. only there is no serum, and you must constantly make sure the evil one isn't doing things to illegal... or you might go to jail.

Try being able to synergize the two into one.

Gaining flight, super strength, all that fun stuff.

Actually, it was Pyro that brought it up, and it was when the X-Team was at Iceman's family's home. It is also very likely that he had no idea what he was talking about and was just trying to piss people off.

No, this was the second movie. Pyro joined Magneto at the end of it, and while I don't remember if Iceman's family came up again in the third (it's been that long since I've seen it), the fact that Pyro was on Magneto's side at that point means he wouldn't have had the chance to say anything to them.

Your right about it being the second movie it has been a few years since I seen it. However I do remember vaguely it being discussed when Charles saw what Stryker did to his son. Specifically it was his DNA that made his son be a mutant and about him treating it like a disease that needed a cure. However it has been a long time since I seen it so thanks for the previous correction.
 
Oh and one more thing: Action costs for business actions have increased.

Reasoning:

Magneto: Either this or Chief Negotiator. Going for this over Negotiator because having Magneto be more likely to back us up in the field strikes me as an extremely good idea. Either way, I'm against making him Chief Financial Officer, partly because it's noted that he "lacks in certain financial decision-making", which does not inspire confidence in me even with the followup statement that he isn't a fool, and partly because I really don't like the idea of important decisions being made without our involvement. That might just be me being a control freak, though.

House: MORE ACTIONS!!!

Employees: It would be a very good idea to not work ourself to death. Thankfully, it looks like we don't need Human Relations for this.

Malaria Treatment: We have an extra +20 to the Other Roll and an extra -20 to the Side Effects Roll this Turn only. I would like to take advantage of them.

Genetics: I am very curious about what we can do with this. Also, the QM mentioned that this would be helpful for continuing with the line of research we've already started with the Viagra.

Jewish Theology: Picking this entirely because I am hopeful it will give us a bonus to the Pray Action so that we don't wind up butt-dialing Apocalypse again the next time we do that.

Movies: I guess I'm just a sucker for Mystique right now, because that really is the best I can come up with here.

Rivalry of Scholars: This, on the other hand, looks important.

I am all for giving Erik some meaningful work that utilizes his Charisma. Also, interested in helping further Erik's development as a person.

Rather than Malaria treatment, going for the probably far more profitable hair loss treatment. At this time, there are still effective Malaria treatments and if the Marshall Plan will have its funding chilled (as suggested by comment of Magoose) then we want as much money as possible to invest in Germany.

The business environment for foreign corporations in Third World countries is godawful during this time period. Very few were even open to them in any real sense.

Most Third World states will be closed off until the idiocy of Import Substitution dies off (the 1980s).

Of the biggest ones, India was an especially bad one to operate in, even for local businesspeople that weren't well-connected (License Raj). Indonesia is a giant flaming mess of uprisings and appropriations of foreign material (mostly Dutch) and won't be stable enough to operate in until the 70s (where you then have to contend with the issue of working under a dictatorship). Colonial rule is still a thing in most of Africa. Lat Am is the only maybe, but if things hold to OTL history any foreign corp will get fucked in the 60s onwards by the idiocy that is Import Substitution Industrialization.

Granted, medical goods may get a pass for some of them, but our penis pill sure as heck won't.

No, better off to focus on Europe and the rest of the West first. We're not even close to solidifying our hold over the market there. Doing anything else is putting the cart before the horse.

For expansion beyond Europe and North America? Japan (and SK & Taiwan years after that). We can even make inroads into the Soviet sphere – Yugoslavia's the first to come to mind. Certain African countries may be a go, provided they're stable enough to actually set up shop in (that's, well, a pretty short list).

Maybe not right now as the MC specs in pharmaceutical but would really like to see him studying mutant abilities to replica with technological means. Like Erik could lead from something simple as superior MRI to EM repulsion and shields. Mystique biology being closer to area of study could also lead to him creating bio metal with morphic properties like the Sentinels-X from DoFP film. There are ton of various mutant abilities that like phenomena regular scientist would kill to study.
