Animus Ex Nihilo - A God Quest

@Azel I want to clarify something, did the Healing domain get twice as expensive because we got an opposite domain or because we got a second domain at all?

The new villages need to be alive for us to gain power from them you should probably bless their food supply well they're getting off the ground. I'd, also note that creating gods ain't that quick and that if you want to solidify our worship you're probably better off talking to our worshippers rather than trying to solidify a random practice of ours.

Ah... So is it wise to invest in healing as our 3rd domain? 🤔
Not, like there are many other options around, and we need to kill the Devourer sometime this millennium so we're better off taking it than not. That's actually part of the reason I kind of don't like the Solidifying Gains plan it doesn't do as much to help gain said domain as other plans as what's holding us back from gaining it is power generation, not anything else which it has the least of out of any plan meaning it risks pushing back killing the Devourer even further than we already have.

Maybe more interaction with animals/plants could unlock a better domain... Nature ? Animals? Life? A more versatile one ^^
What we want are domains that people are always going to keep in mind. In that regard Death is really good, becuase even if the people who moved to the forest don't need a sea god anymore, they'll always have need of a death god.

That, might be what tier represent? We've seen what ranks represent simply a deepening of a god's relationship with a domain so tiering up a domain might expand it.
Maybe unlocking plant and animal domains could synergize with healing here for an overall Life Domain, though I imagine that would be an unholy price tag.

If it keeps doubling we'll hit 48 power required to buy a fifth domain which ain't too bad but I imagine we'll rank up, and become a Major Spirit soon enough which will probably convert our power into power relative to that rank meaning we'll drop back down from 20 to like 1 or something.

That's true, but the fact remains that the domain of death is "unpopular", even in our "capital" people love us because of our blessings related to the sea, they don't care a bit about death at the moment :/
So without said blessings I'm skeptical about their devotion to a god of death ^^

That's nice and all but it's pretty limited

Healing isn't limited when it effects all people everywhere. The sea is limited to those that are near, the dead is universal, but death is purely the last bit of power we gain from a mortal, it is helpful, but healing lets us keep our power lasting longer. Healing can also be very overt, and the duality is cool for a deity.

We're going to need to maximize both power generation as well as figure out more effective power retention. A measly 2 power stored away is laughable.

Some of that probably has to do with us lacking any punishing to our Nature which fits really well with a death domain just as a benevolent Nature fits well with healing. Even, fits pretty well into a mythos since you can play it off as the different faces of Proud Waters like how Ranald has different titles for each of his effective domains in Warhammer Fantasy.

If we took the action more often or studied our abilities we'd probably figure something out for power storage but until then I have to imagine aligning regions with our power might be a viable storage method for example although it might not go great for those living on it, and other than that exploring for places like the reef would probably work as well. Regardless, I prefer to focus on power generation personally as we often have so many ways of boosting our power open to us that storing our power often seems like a waste of our time especially when power doesn't help with god battles.
