Hey so guys.

Science Facts said:
Elephants form deep family bonds and live in tight matriarchal family groups of related females called a herd. The herd is led by the oldest and often largest female in the herd, called a matriarch. Herds consist of 8-100 individuals depending on terrain and family size.

More Science said:
Like modern elephants, woolly mammoths were likely very social and lived in matriarchal (female-led) family groups. This is supported by fossil assemblages and cave paintings showing groups. It is therefore probable that most of their other social behaviour was similar to that of modern elephants...

So why you all motherfuckers choosin' bull?

Cuase I think it's....

Bullshit.

Hope we get a Dire Wolf/Dog god subordinate or something later on.

@notanautomaton curious does mammoth count as a pack animal since they travel in herds and scientists have proven modern elephant herds are complex family units in general due to elephant intelligence?

[X] Cow

Cause elephant herds are lead by a matriarch and females are charge of things in general.

Yes, and your opinion is not biased at all considering that I voted for the opposite option.

Seeing as the vote was not called yet, I deserve the opportunity to make my vote be heard just like everyone else did.

Also, I am amused at the irony at the moment seeing how petty you are being at the moment for me just voting for the option I prefer, even if it incidentally tied what was a close vote.

But, I'd rather not derail the thread with this so this is all I am going to say on the matter.

I read a thing a while back about the various Indo-European creation myths and the role large-bodied domesticated animals had on its cultures. For pastoralists their herd was their everything. Food, shelter, transportation, clothing. And even though we're a mammoth, I think it'd be very apt to fill in a similar role for the tribes we hold sway over.

Aspects of life, perhaps? Or of creation? Where in life and even in death, animals continue to provide and shelter.
