We might still be alive. Somehow. For now. For some value of 'alive'. We may not be killed but used for testing of biological weapons or torture training.

At a month in, there really wasn't much of a chance of making it out of this alive.

Probably should have just spilled the beans.

You know, Agents sometimes spend years at a time in captivity, to be released later. A month, in all honesty, is a short stay. Also, you can all free to ask any questions on your mind about the MC and the story so far. I'll warn you though, I'll only answer in the same fashion of an intelligence agent, so it may or may not be true.

Interesting thought.

[X] Fine, what do you want to know?

Negotiation would have been on here, but your frankly ridiculous answers thus far kinda ruined that one as a possibility.

If you had accepted Sendicard's vote in the first place, you wouldn't have to deal with this.;)

I have to apologize, his vote didn't count in the vote tally because of a screwup on my part, and I thought he was being ridiculous with his vote again. I'll be more diligent in the future when counting the votes.

So, any questions in the situation? As I said, I'll give answers, but I won't guarantee they'll be at all accurate.

Honestly, I am just going "If you can't beat them join them." Also, who do we work for and what do they do?

CIA, obviously. Nothing too secretive, you're a rookie after all. Nobody from a well hidden secret organization will hire on an amateur unless they're meant to take a fall.

And that's Classified, obviously.

I suppose. Why does that double the reason to spill the beans? Also, do keep in mind not to use my statements so factually, as I did mention it may or may not be true.

Not so secret, and we are a rookie so we won't have access to the super secret stuff. Less consequences for talking, basically. Now, if we were KGB I would totally advocate staying silent. Finally, you can always blame the Americans.

That's not necessarily true. The CIA can ruin your life a hundred different ways that don't involve killing anyone. They're creative like that. Regardless, you have the right mind frame. Some more votes would be nice, as much as I would *love* to work with just three, I kinda need more than that to come up with a solid conclusion.

Whether or not you believe me, this is just the tutorial. Getting a feel for the players, and the kind of MC they're likely to develop. One boring ass tutorial, but I don't feel creative enough to come up with anything different. It'll all make sense after a post or two.

Well, that's true, but any intelligence agency can. The point is, compared to guys like the KGB, the CIA are softies. I know they can still do things, it is just not as bad. Plus, if we join the enemy, the CIA likely won't do anything worse to us then they would to the rest of the enemies. As far as I know, the CIA doesn't have secret traitor torture, and selling secrets is part of the game anyways.

*chuckles* Now you're thinking like a spy. But remember it's normally not the Agent themselves that suffer when they turn traitor, but all the people they left back home.

How many people are back home and, on a scale from 1 to 10, how important are they? Do we value any of them over our own life? Finally, the CIA aren't the guys that do those kinds of things, hell, our people back home likely don't even know we are a spy. If you wanted us seriously worried about the consequences of selling out to save ourselves, you should of put us in the KGB or ISI.

You do realize not everyone in the CIA is squeaky clean, right? Espionage is sometimes about blackmail, sometimes about strong-arming someone, and sometimes threatening to make their families life *very uncomfortable*

And you have a Persian father who's a cop, and a Parisian mother who deals in underground arms deals. If you want an honest answer, then you'll need to infer based on whatever hints I throw your way. An answer like that is too valuable to give honestly, and this early. I'm keeping things vague on purpose, just try to be patient for now.

And that's not my goal here. As I said, in due time, Dark.

The thing is, we are a rookie, and they haven't come for us, so why would they care If we turn beyond the obvious? If we were a veteran spy I would would be worried, but we don't seem to have anything valuable enough to be worth it.

Why would we be allowed into the CIA with that kind of background? Are we a "turned" asset?

Meh, we're a mook.
We know it and he knows it.
So where does he see this going?

Since you refuse to answer the follow up question, I assume you were lying previously. So, it's spy games IC and OOC?

Now you're getting it. Though I'll be as helpful as your questions. Ask something too revealing, and you'll likely get a lie. Ask something rather mundane, and you'll get the truth, most likely. Asking something along the lines of "Do we have someone we care about" will cause a thought provoking answer.

In order to survive in this quest, you'll have to think like a spy, and I won't promise at all to make this easy. Though, you're on more or less the right track.
