I shudder at what Blumenkranz and Kiる厭KiLL produced.Gromweld said:I have been generating new capes while listening to some soundtracks as of late.
The Kill La Kill OST has inspired a new character with each song, for what it's worth.
If I may ask, what did Blumenkranz inspire?Gromweld said:I have been generating new capes while listening to some soundtracks as of late.

I hope that it'll be clear when Blumenkranz's character shows up. For what it's worth, I'm a big fan of this mash-up version of the base Blumenkranz and an orchestral version. As for Nui's Theme... heheheh.S J C said:

When your only job is to make a theme song for a villain sound villainous no matter what the actual content of the songs lyrics are saying... well, there you go.Zechstein said:Or maybe a sound based power. It's amusing that the more one knows how to speak German, the more discordant the song. I'm at least able to tune out the accent and focus on the harmonies, but there are a few covers (YouTube) by actual German speakers/singers that do it much better - though I've yet to find one that has the diaphragm to belt out the chorus like the original.Zechstein said:Or maybe a sound based power. Not necessarily 'villainous', at least to me, but more '100% in-charge and giving no fucks'.scope said:Blumenkranz lyric isn't really all that bad. It's just the tone of the song that makes it sound villainous.
Wait, how is Chevalier not forever linked to Gamagori's theme?Gromweld said:I have been generating new capes while listening to some soundtracks as of late.

If Kill La Kill is going to be heavily influencing this quest in the future, should I watch it?FunkyEntropy said:Wait, how is Chevalier not forever linked to Gamagori's theme?
It's probably one of the better "Pure Entertainment" anime in recent years.landcollector said:If Kill La Kill is going to be heavily influencing this quest in the future, should I watch it?
Okay, I'll give it a shot this weekend then.Alectai said:It's probably one of the better "Pure Entertainment" anime in recent years.
I think someone put it as "Complete and total shlock executed with absolute, transcendent perfection". And as it so happens, while you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you Can make a damn solid leather purse out of it.
I wouldn't phrase it like that, really. I take influences from all sorts of different places, and KLK's soundtrack (as well as the show itself) is just one of them.landcollector said:If Kill La Kill is going to be heavily influencing this quest in the future, should I watch it?
Ah, I see. If my post came across as anything other than inquisitive, that wasn't my intent.Gromweld said:I wouldn't phrase it like that, really. I take influences from all sorts of different places, and KLK's soundtrack (as well as the show itself) is just one of them.
I can try my hand at those tonight, Gromweld. I've gotten some practice at dissecting updates as of late.Gromweld said:Yeah, when I was updating the log I realized - with some surprise - that no one did the usual guesswork for those.
Real Life has been getting very bothersome as of late. I need the Singularity to hurry up so I can ditch this frail meat vessel and work exclusively on the Quest.
So, Singularity by tomorrow, then?landcollector said:
Which update were you working on, so I know to skip it?veekie said:Uh, I forgot I had it partially done. Going to do it in a few hours unless my laptop craps out on me while I try to get the shift key to come back to life.
Thanks. Expect some big posts from me tonight then.veekie said:Just go ahead, I'm not sure if I can even turn it on afterwards. This dinosaur is about to kick the bucket.
Personally I just considered it as Aisha being herself.Stormseed said:It might have been dubious if someone was especially sensitive - it didn't bother me, tho.
