Hrm. Besides trying to figure out which person to Exalt next I think that we should make it a priority to build an artifact that gives people souls. Iris could probably help us design and build it once we recover him. Then we could organize worship of the Great Maker to good effect. Once we grew the cult large enough then maybe we could use the essence to bring him to Earth? That is an awesome image in my head. Having a huge crowd chanting prayers to Autochthon in order to summon him. :)

since im not as into a hover throne as i would have been into something to help our ability to Science! it doesn't matter much and id like to see what grom makes.

Lets save the XP for our abilities like Medicine and War (Parahumans) and such plus Belazel's insect drones.
 
Not to mention that if we got started on giving people souls and formed a cult then we could start training our followers as sorcerer-engineers so we could build our Vat Complex.

1. Rescue Iris and punch the bad guys!
2. Build an artifact to give people souls and get them into a cult where we can train them as sorcerer-engineers.
3. Build the infrastructure necessary to support our operations and work to summon Autochthon.
4. Profit?!

Hugging is good, I agree, but you should be hugging people all the time as your natural state! Planning out your hugging is only necessary of you are on a tight schedule.
 
So Marrow is blue and super strong and can create super strong and sharp weapons AND she plans on wearing a cape as part of her costume AND she can apparently grow to become MEGA-MARROW so does that mean that Marrow is Super TTGL? All she needs are the Shades and a giant Adamant Drill.

Then we could give them to the most loyal and skilled members of our cult so we could train them as our sorcerer-engineer corps and have them act as priests for our cult too.

Iris likely has the whole Souls thing covered, and I wouldn't be surprised if he could perform the actions of a Vat Complex either. Fetich Soul of Autochthon, y'know.

Word of Grom iirc is that Iris has lots of souls stored inside him so we're good on that end.
 
My only real problem with this update is that even all the 9's tinkers together shouldn't be able to out hack Dragon and all the really high-end secrets about Auto should have been classified the PRT equivalent of beyond top-secret.

Hacking the local PRT files like in canon is one thing getting into something that should have been truly secured by Dragon is another.

So, with the knowledge that we might get the interlude before we can vote and thus things might change, do people generally want to focus on getting to Iris? Or would we rather try to get things organized for as concentrated a counterattack as we can manage?
 
I want to chime in on Aisha and the Optical Shroud.

Aisha getting and needing the Optical Shroud completely depends upon what kind of upgrades Auto-kun works into her shard.

I'm saying that coming up with ways to stop us from simply finding them like that is trivial, and the narrative is very clear but I don't feel like banging my head against this particular brick wall. So instead, I'm offering to gamble, because that's how confident I am. No argument in the thread, one of us simply gets to say "I told you so".

Brain activity stops in a matter of seconds, but brain-damage takes a couple of minutes. But I understand it would be better to revive them, or at least stick their head on a life support system before trying to Exalt them.

I'm actually sad to see Vox go, he was pretty fun. I'm sad a villain died, good work!

A bit of both in my view, if Taylor has any fastish flight (such as her armour) method she can use her optical cloak in combination to find Iris (when he is within 300 yards I think he starts to drain motes, so try and use that and combine with local knowledge to increase effiency of search pattern, i.e. their are places they obviously cannot be due to people being there), while the rest plan and if Taylor can take part,

Oh, and just to note we don't take penalties due to called shots when using our Optical enhancement

Experience with Exalted since the early days of 1ED tells me I'm shite at creating artifacts.
