Eh, not really. As I've already said, "god" or "spirit" is just a term that means "indeterminate being made from essence." Theoretically, Dragon could be made into a spirit that can possess technology and then build larger and more powerful computers to increase her processing power, and build better processors, and upgrade her spirit form.

Add this with more of a "copy-paste" flavor to it, and you basically have Dragon Unchained, except she doesn't need to restore from backup if her tech is destroyed.

Is it possible for Marrow to maintain a secret identity?
Given that she has a soul gem, and a standout physique(Six foot eight, Appearance 5), how much Larceny/Performance would that even require?

She can look human, so a headband or hat should be sufficient.

Especially if she's wearing a mask or her armor.

Here's a question:
When Marrow is using her charm to look human, would her armor and weapons be bone or adamant?
 
So, I had idea.

If we can make some kind of Essence Generator. We should try to make them produce elemental Essence. This way we can Exalt some terrestrial to help us.

This has the added bonus of:
A.) Boosted Essence saturation.
B.) A Reason the PRT are more likely to help us. I mean stable 'Heros' would be quite useful, and the public will like it because more HEROIC heros.

Another thing we could do with Essence Generators of some kind.

Create a regeneration camber that runs on Essence and helps spread it. So, it's basically a healing device that saturated the area with Essence. This would be good because the PRT and a lot of other organizations would want it, thus causing Essence saturation in more places.


If we figure out how to make Essence Generators we need to give Dragon the Blue Prints. Maybe we could also use it as a source of clean power.

Gromweld has said that until the very end, the only Exalts that will be in the story are us and those we choose to add to our Assembly.

She's 6'8", has STR, DEX, and STAM SEVEN, and APP 5...if she gets noticed (thank you, Stealth 4, for making it a question of "if" not "when") she's going to stand out pretty blatantly.

She is phenotypically black.
The average height of a female black American(20-39 yrs) is 5 foot 4.5 inches.
Add to that the fact that black hair does not hide the forehead, and that she cannot wear either a headband or hat regularly without drawing attention to her forehead.
Then throw in the fact that she's Appearance 5, world class looks.

People like that don't suddenly emerge in a metropolis the size of Philly.
And you can bet that people will be digging, either to employ her, or more prurient interest.

Which is why I'm wondering if it's worth even making the effort for her.

Not entirely true.
We have been hinted at the possibility of an Apostate, which I dearly hope doesn't happen.
 
I wonder, think Strider's powers would get boosted if he was Exalted? It would be cool and teleportation is extremely versatile soooo.....

which makes me think,.. if our original build would have been ..edgier.. we could have stolen Armsmasters bike, ride into the sunset, find the nine, give em a good personality override spike scrubbing and then have a dreamteam xD (..well in the eyes of a Soulsteel)

I seem to recall the point being made several times that getting that submodule of POS was impossible for us at character creation.

Actually, that was all but blatantly stated.

If we'd gone with the POS tree, picked up Mobile Sensory Drone , added some War charms, and ignored the unwritten rules?
We could have had most of Brockton Bay recalibrated within a week, and we'd probably have been dealing with Cauldron within two weeks.
And most of our Exalts would likely be from the villain/rogue community.

This was the route that likely ended with Contessa as our Adamant near the end of the story.

Think we could get Chris to work on some Tinker Projects for us?

Have him tweak our armor to be able to switch out mods. See if he can make can figure out how to make an Essence reservoir in it so when we have to fight something S-Class again we have more essence to work with. If he can figure out how to make it fill itself... Well we might have a start for an Essence Generator. And because the Armor would be modeller we would get a MUCH REDUCED analog to a Vat.

Thoughts?

Wouldn't work, unfortunately. You can't exalt non-humans (well, non-humanoidish. I know Djala count, can't remember if Lintha do.) and the Simurgh is too far outside of human physiology to be a viable candidate :V

I'd say probably not.

I mean, she could make a decent effort of it - even middling Larceny could be used to knock her Appearance down to 4, but even then she's still a impressively attractive pro-basketball-sized person instead of her usual phenomenally attractive pro-basketball-sized self.

Dex 7 + Stealth 4 (plus the 1st Dex Aug) says otherwise - Marrow is only obvious if she wants to be.

It's complete bullshit, and I love it.

I was wondering during reading the story why the hell a powerful UMI option was not selected. Considering using a bit of Clarity it would have been the best option in reforming and repurposing high powered miscreants.

Would have been a awesome story imho.

Have we tried to make progress towards this since Armsmaster proposed it?
 
Being known for sticking a spike into someone and mind-raping them into being our friends would pretty much turn the world against us. We'd be touch-effect Heartbreaker, with the difference that we don't screw our victims.

Doesn't using obvious charms turn off the IAT? Or was that only visible Anima banners?
Edit: Irregardless, the effect of the charms is unaffected so they would be Adamant
