Can we please just finish off Elemental magic? I really wanna do that before we level up so we can get the 200 skill level perk.

Plus, becoming the Avatar or reaching Nirvana or whatever it was sounds awesome.

Tactics seems more useful for a duel then trickery, and I get the feeling that fairly soon people will realize that we have magic anyway.

If we can't use our magic we are going to lose anyway.

We flat out cannot get good enough at fighting this quickly to beat someone who was chosen as the best fighter this rich noble person could get their hands on without using magic.

I'm not arguing against using magic - that's silly. I was just pointing out that elementals are not exactly stealthy in combat.
I might be wrong, but I can't think of a way to use them in a tournament that normal water magic can't help us with.

Also, am I correct in guessing that high levels of Environmental (and maybe circumstantial) Inscribing, combined with the ability to reshape the landscape at will, is a terrifying thing to face?

Circumstantial Inscribing is battle inscribing, pretty much the same thing as what Say'fai used to annihilate her would be assassins. Environmental and Anatomy require build time, the former one making weapons out things and the latter to Inscribe your own body.

Also your Melee is at 10 points per training because of the scroll you got somewhere a few weeks ago, your only deducted skills at the moment are Ranged and Explosives.
