@DragonParadox, it's not completely clear from the update, what are the downsides to just waking the spirit right now? If it's still fighting, it means it's untainted, right? Or not? Or is there a chance it will be corrupted by awakening?

Okay, one more question, I think. How deep into the cave is the spirit's pool?

No one knows, the Danuk claim it leads to the underworld, but that is probably more symbolic than practical

Well you do not know how corrupted it may be, you know it is fighting so it's not purely an enemy, but it might be confused or in pain and you guys are all strangers here.

No, I mean how far do you have to walk into the cave before reaching the spirit's pool? As in, how long would it take for others to run to the pool in an emergency?

Sorry about the poor wording on my part.

I think we should do the whole trifecta here, Consecrating the cave, telling the Danuk, and then waking the spirit. The Consecration should aid the spirit and perhaps hamper whatever is trying to corrupt it, while the Danuk, who are spiritually close to it, might be able to aim some prayer power at it while the Consecration is happening. After that, there's nothing left to do but wake the spirit and hope we've been able to help it more than we've harmed it. If it wakes up uncorrupted, it might also bring a Daemon out with it to fight, which might be our best case scenario here.

[X] If the spirit is trying to fight off the Neverborn corruption, it would be cruel and irresponsible to stand aside and do nothing. Inge will recommend to Moru attempt to assist the spirit however he can (i.e. Consecrating the pool through the power of Inoko, a god of fire) before waking it.
-[X] At the same time, however, the spirit is extremely important to the Danuk people, and they may be important to it, since it has been their benefactor for untold generations. If we let them know that even now the spirit does battle against Neverborn corruption, their prayers and offerings might bolster the spirit in its hour of need as it has aided them in the past.
-[X] Ziku and Roland will stand vigil while Moru Consecrates the cave then attempts to wake the spirit, while Inge, Esha, along with Tom and some of our men wait outside the cave, ready to rush in to help fight off surprise!Daemons or to prevent any from slipping into the cave. If we have any Holy Weapon Balm, Roland will keep a container ready to quickly apply it to his sword if fighting breaks out, as will Tom and our men.

@Goldfish, this is a deep night and it'll probably be battle at the morning. I fear that waiting group will be fatigued or even exausted at that time. Also Inge and Esha spent some spells today and need rest.

A previous vote included that we wouldn't go into the cave before everyone rested, so spells should be recovered, IIRC. And there is nothing saying those waiting outside can't take turns resting in shifts, if necessary. That's just standard SOP.

You wanted to switch out the lesser Restoration for something else, due to the limited availability of his spellslots.
Cats Grace or Eagle's Splendor maybe.

@Goldfish
He also has brought some scrolls from his home-temple, including one for Consecrate, if that is relevant to your plan.

Does it help that he is build around DEX as melee-godstat, with no need for Strenght at all?

Dervish Dance - Feats - Archives of Nethys: Pathfinder RPG Database

Use Dex modifier instead of Str modifier with scimitar

Since Paladins need many high stats to work by fluff and crunch I thought this was a reasonable compromise to make a decent Paladin with a cheap pointbuy.

@DragonParadox , do we know where Wanderer and one-legged Wyrdoki prisoner are?

The prisoner if being held captive by Oka and Wanderer is going to show up in the next update.

Speaking of the next update, vote closed
