I'm gonna lean toward interacting with Zaia and Ripper for now, simply because Ripper is here now and that might not last. Cats are cats, after all, so we aren't going to have its attention for long. We should learn what we can while ingratiating ourselves with copious ear scritches and belly rubs.

Like yeah, I'm tempted. Gonna have to think because it'll probably impact character going forward at some level.
Small administrative note. I changed the arc structure so that arc 0 ended before the cat. At that point we were done with character generation so I think that is a fair cut off.

Bad rolls on the "take collar"-roll, and we lose a hand, a life, or the worst of all - the access to a cat.
Sailors aren't impressed, but the cat is a cat and it already made the MC dip out of the depression, if for just a moment.
