[X] Push Rupprecht to make a speech. He is apparently planning on returning to the war room once he's checked in on the surgery, but why not see if he can rile up the crowd? The are thousands of people filling the square, terrified, leaderless. This could be his chance!

[X] Rally the troops. WHile he could give a general speech to the crowd, raising the morale of the men stationed here might help. While Franz has given assurances that the troops he is leading in an offensive to secure the city centre are fine, the men here must contend with the moans of the dying and the wailing of their families. A boost could do wonders!
 
If Rupprecht does a speech, couldn't that open him up to assassination or not having enough time for making a plan?

[x] Ensure Kathe is alright. You don't need Rupprecht to help you with this, he has sufficient managerial skills he could keep everything in the surgery together while you are off with your wife.

If he is not able to make up and hold a speech in 5 minutes, he is incapable of the feats we are trying to make him do. As for the assassination.... We have guarded him as much as we can. The Marienplatz should be as safe as we can make it. If we are too paranoid, we will not get anything done.

1. That was not aimed at you but rather at someone who would have the foreknowledge to answer i.e. the OP or someone intimately familiar with his writing style and how he does things. Assassination and the speech thing were just two things that occurred to me. I never said "withold all action because [negativeaction] may happen"

2. My whole worry with the speech is that it would take up more time than a mere 5 minutes. Also, could you please be less aggressive with your statement? Your automatic assumption that I was proposing that we not do those actions because of my questioning on possibilities seems quite passive-aggressive to me. Apologies if it was not intended to be so. Thank you, and I hope we can get along towards the betterment of a good story.

I was merely commenting that we are asking, but also wanting to give the crown prince a lot of things. Holding an impromptu speech is the least we can demand of him. Not in the sense that he will try, but that he will be good at it.

..... I am sorry i do not even know why you interpreted my comment as aggression against yourself. I am just confused when i stated something generic.
