Alerting about the family seems like a waste compared with all the other actions, to be honest. All we have to operate on is a vague suspicion, and the potential reward is that everyone knows that our parents are not to be contacted versus potentially saying something in their presence that could be leaked. I mean, yeah, it's something important to do down the road, but I can't think of any secrets that our pals would be willing to say outside of our immediate presence (remember, trusted family servants were all sent away for that) capable of causing us big trouble at the moment.
When you compare that to ensuring that the NSDAP doesn't sink its claws any further into the Landtag, that our party starts bolstering its numbers with new recruits, or that we establish a party newspaper capable of promoting our views to the world, I just don't think it looks well. Purges can be done later after the basic infrastructure is set in place.

How is any of this information unique to them or something that we can stop them from sending onward even assuming ties to the NSDAP? Most people care about their wives and our affection for her isn't something we've been keeping under wraps. For that matter, she isn't either so plenty of people will have seen her. Telling our bros not to talk to them also does nothing to stop them from relaying any of this information to the extent that they have it out to whoever they want.
That aside, a kidnapped/assassinated wife would make a compelling political springboard to ring home the danger that Germany is facing.

What do our parents actually provide to help them to that end? Do our parents provide such critical intelligence to the Nazis on that end that it's worth forsaking the opportunities we have to blunt NSDAP influence in the Landtag or to swell up our party?
I've really got to say no on that. Our parents' interactions with the wife have been minimal at best because they despised her as a concept, they didn't even attend the wedding and all indications have been that they've kept far away from the family ever since the son rebelled against them. I doubt that they even know what she looks like at this point. The Nazis wouldn't have to bother with such a convoluted scheme to get to know what she looks like and try to pull something anyway because the clinic is very open to the public and we are relatively well-known figures.
Edit: And again, telling the Prince not to talk to them doesn't do anything to prevent them from telling any of this information to whomever they please.

I should clarify. Alerting the prince means he will be on guard, regarding your family. So he'll be aware not to trust them, and more importantly he'll be aware to keep a close eye on their activites.
