I know this is English, but for some reason it reads like gibberish! Nobody in SMT is on humanity's side but humanity, and even that's suspect! I mean Stephen's a cool dude, but he's a bit too cryptic to really put him on any side... and Lucifer's only on his/her own side, but he/she likes to give the protagonist a hand every so often because he/she is just a bro like that.

There are beings on humanity's side, but it is unfortunate that they are either a) too weak to change the tide b) do more harm than good or c) too powerful to interact meaningfully without causing a catastrophe
Plus a few ascended humans

Would Scion be on that list? I mean, he does help out humanity and he's best friends with a hobo, but he's also got zero social skills and only helps humans because Kevin told him to.

He'd fall under B considering his nature
Though I would count him as an ascended being just not a smart one or even creative, like a dog became a god really or a wolf

God, now I'm remembering one of the only times I visited the Worm subreddit was right after they finished discussing if Scion would count as a himbo. That was hilarious to read through.

And yeah, Scion is not really smart, but that's because he's not supposed to be. He's the Warrior, not the Thinker. So basically I agree on the ascended animal bit, but that doesn't necessarily apply to other Entities. They are a weird, overspecialized bunch.

The Great Will helps humanity is some ways; he granted them the Power of Observation and the messiahs, the PCs, the ability to decide the fate of the world. In SMT3 Freedom Ending Lucifer congratulates you have your decision and remarks that he made a similar choice once.

Super Bosses are different from 'That One Boss' in that the are made to be HARD while That One Boss is made to teach you something or to test you.
 
Actually SMT has a whole Alignment System. Law-Neutral-Chaos and Light-Neutral-Dark.
Light aligned Demons are nominally on Humanity's side. Amatsu, Avatar, Avian, Deity, Dragon, Element, Enigma, Entity, Fury, Genma, Herald, Holy, Kishin, Kunitsu, Lady, Megami, Mitama, and Tree Clans are nominally Light Aligned.

Neutral aligned Demons are those seen as neither Good nor Evil. Beast, Brute, Divine, Fairy, Fallen, Femme, Flight, Jirae, Night, Snake, and Yoma are nominally Neutral on the Light-Dark Axis.

Dark Aligned Demons are nominally against Humanity. Drake, Fiend, Foul, Haunt, Jaki, Raptor, Reaper, Spirit, Tyrant, Vermin, Vile, Wilder, and Wood Clans are nominally Dark Aligned.

Law aligned Demons are associated with God. Amatsu, Avian, Deity, Divine, Entity, Flight, Herald, Megami, Tree, Vile, Wood, and Yoma Clans are nominally Law Aligned.

Neutral aligned Demons accepts the need for laws but not at the cost of personal freedom. Avatar, Beast, Element, Fairy, Fiend, Genma, Holy, Jaki, Jirae, Mitama, Reaper, Snake, Vermin, and Wilder are nomainlly Neutral on the Law-Chaos Axis.

Chaos aligned Demons are associated with Lucifer. Brute, Dragon, Drake, Fallen, Femme, Foul, Fury, Haunt, Kishin, Kunitsu, Lady, Night, Spirit, and Tyrant Clans are nominally Chaos Aligned.

Important to note is that Light does not mean Good. Just that they are nominally on Humanity's side due to being worshipped by Humanity. Just as Dark does not mean Evil, though they are generally seen as such. These aren't all the clans in the series, just the 42 I have on my spreadsheet of clans and demons, which requires them to have multiple Demons which have shown up in multiple games and be in at least one mainline game.

Also, yeah. I have no idea how Divine, aka the orders of Angels, are Neutral on the Light-Dark Axis.

If I remember correctly the Divine's Collective Lore all revolve around aiding Man in some way but since they work for God they land on Neutral in SMT3 and 4 I think. Angel for instance is a Guardian Angel and Archangel is pretty much just a tougher version with the same job lore wise.

From what I've found on the wiki, Izanami is a Megami demon, Nyx is a Night demon, in both of Thanatos' mainline appearances, he's listed as part of the Reaper clan, and Erebus is exclusive to Persona 3 FES as it turns out that's the first time I've seen that bar the Personas from P5.

Tyrants are usually obscenely powerful or broken depending on which demon your talking about. Case in point Lucifer, who is THE most iconic member of the Tyrant race.

As @TheStranger said, plus they are Dark aligned, and Dark aligned Demons usually can't be recruited, they need to be Fused.

Edit: Also strangely enough, Lucifer isn't the most powerful Tyrant on Average. Satan is. Lucifer's average level is 97, Satan's is 106. Fun fact, the lowest average level for the strongest demon in a clan is Mothman of the Vermin Clan at Level 30.

It's actually too bad Thanatos is in too few viable games to be on my spreadsheet. Most of his appearances are in Persona games, which I don't count for requisite number of appearances. Some pretty good Demons also share this, such as Jeanne d'Arc and Yoshitsune. Which also keeps the Hero Clan from being on my spreadsheet. In fact all the Hero Clan needs to be on my spreadsheet is a main series appearance, as the Clan is only in Devil Summoner, Soul Hackers, and Devil Survivor 2. And no the Famed Clan doesn't count as that is only in 4.

What @KindaLazy said. She's already dead, and Taylor's already made it clear to them that while she feels they kinda screwed the pooch, she does understand why they recruited someone like Shadow Stalker. Besides, Taylor only has a grudge against Sophia. The rest of the Wards are safe from her fury so long as they don't get on her bad side.
 
Demi fiend was in tgat mmo IMAGiNE too as a seasonal boss.

Entities act more like retarded cyborg animals with specific software. Base is dumb, but some of its software can partialy compensate for that. Only a little.

Thinker got killed becouse it forgot to integrate new parts before using them.
