Grace is serious, so she would go to this, that looks more urgent, I think.

I feel like both of them are serious; the difference here so far seems to me that Sapphiria has a vibe she's committed to, hard, while Hari is more straightforward. Sapphiria equally wants Grace's attention, but will be frustrated if Grace has to be told that directly.

[X] Sapphiria the Night-Lily

Well, of the two, hers sounds more time-critical, to the extent either of them do.

Honestly, I've got a hell of a lot more sympathy for Wayward Prayer's politics than I do Grace's. It's pretty rich hearing Grace call her "hopelessly naive".

grace your predecessor sounds great I can't agree with your complaints
Tragic: local asexual woman plagued by past life memories from an immortal, thousand year old allo

Grace is staring down the barrel of her homeland, the Realm, descending into a bloody civil war that will kill or ruin the lives of countless ordinary people. She is even less receptive than she'd normally be to pitches that sound a lot like "we should make the world a better place by tearing it down".

Generally speaking, though, I want Grace to feel like a compelling protagonist to read about and see the setting through the perspective of, and for her viewpoint to be understandable rather for it to read as entirely correct, so feeling this way is fine, honestly.

Even if Wayward Prayer's politics are rather naive, I think we are rather more aware of how little "the least bad option" does to salve the pain of watching the outcome occur given what the Realm (and other parties) do.

[X] Sapphiria the Night-Lily

Grace has just spent days or weeks in the midst of a solar circle prone to casual violence and hell bent on the annihilation of an entire realm city, put up with a near death experience, reopened her wound to distract to headstrong boys about to come to blow, and then suffered through an lengthy boat ride, and put up with a dream of her promiscuous past personage private pairing with an individual she knows, only to wake up and deal with the heartache of arcane fate.

She deserves a gift and conversation with a circle mate who she can get along with, not a weighty family matter of someone she has greater difficulties talking to weighing on her in addition to everything else.

the more eccentric the better. Also I loved this update. Traveling through a neat gateway to a fun part of heaven, seeing the sights and sounds, getting to live in a big lavish manse with a quirky butler, there's an unmistakable Sidereal energy to this update that reinvigorates my love of the splat. Makes me wanna play a Sid someday.
