A Typical High School Life Filled with Supernatural Battles

Well how do we know he won't get writer's block for this quest, huh?! He's obviously done it before, what's to say he won't do it again?!?

Things are just starting to get good, I don't want the story to stop now!
I am not sure what to say, Writer's block isn't just something that's chosen. Maybe he will get it here or maybe he won't that goes for all stories and fanfics.

I know. I just hope it doesn't happen.

Writer's block sucks. Spending hours just staring at the letters on a screen, each word you type becoming more of chore as the seconds tick by... Until you say "fuck it" and just go do something else.

Happened to me more than once. That's why I have so many abandoned quests.

Just found this little gem nice!

for the future we should totally look into making paper armor.

It's a legit thing that without magic has similar properties to steel and with magic he can make it into power armor.

[X] You decide to follow Lucille's first suggestion and go golem hunting together. Kill monsters, get EXP, level up. Simple enough. Plus there's no way you'll let Lucille go off on her lonesome to fight monsters. Now where will you go hunting?
-[X] Warehouse District

[X] Write In
- [X] Go shopping for equipment, you want to be prepared for the next time those things attack. Buy cheap but plentiful books with lots of pages. Buy different kinds of paper such as construction paper, origami, printer, laminated, etc.

I fully intent to max the shit of this paper ability. I want us to be the guy version of Konan!!

I want us to be able to do this!!

[X] You manage to convince Lucille that before either of you go hunting golems or looking for trouble, you should both practice using your powers to learn just what you can do with them. You both have some instinctual idea of how to use them but it's better to have a better grasp of what the both of you can do. There's this junkyard that you know where the two of you can practice.

To the tutorial zone!

What you see before you is my domain!
Yes:D:D:D
Biscuit training is go we need to have Lucille make a domain strong enough to stand on before we go golem hunting plus knowing you limits helps you exceed them.

Yessss, we're back.

"Ah, that's because you have this strange looking star-shaped attachment just like the one – ," Whatever Mary was going to say next was cut off when Zelda clapped her hand over the shorter girl's mouth. Zelda suddenly looks afraid and is staring at you with suspicion. You simply raise an eyebrow at that. You don't know what Mary meant by part but the moment she mentioned star, warning bells started ringing in your head. Was Zelda a "Gifted" like yourself? Was Mary one as well?
A sensor-type Gifted, most likely.
Gotta be more careful around them then.

While it's subtle, you manage to catch a tinge of smugness in Eeno's tone. He's proud of what's he's done and he's no doubt hoping that he has managed to impress Lucille with his actions. Before last night, it might have worked. However, compare to an invisible golem and the revelations of your powers, getting a gang of vandals arrested while good didn't have the same impact.
There are only very few things that trump seduction bonds during pitched combat.

(Bonus points to anyone who gets the fanfic reference.)
Holding her right hand out, Lucille concentrates and right above her hand, what could only be described as an orange bubble appears. At the sight of this, everyone's jaw pretty much drops except you though you feel your eyes widen in shock. Lucille pleased to see everyone's reaction, goes on to explain herself. "What you see before you is my domain! Not only can I control its movements, I can manipulate anything that is within it! Observe!"

A look of fierce concentration appears on Lucille's face and the bubble moves down to Eeno's cell phone that he had left on the table. Once Lucille's bubble or "domain" as she calls it touches the phone, the domain rises along with the phone.
Telekinesis limited via territory creation.

This...
This could probably work like Superboy's Tactile Telekinesis (read: ife she can touch it, she can lift it).

This could also explain why Lucille could lift that sledgehammer easily. :p
Immediately, in your mind's eye, you feel your star in a night sky of your soul. However, to your surprise, you can also feel the presence of shadows in the distance. One to the north near the school, another to the west towards where there's a whole bunch of warehouses, and a third shadow over at Skyfall Park. Apparently, you also have an inbuilt sensor for shadows.

Neat, an enemy radar.
But since both the golems and Gifted possess Star fragments... wouldn't it work for both entities?
Oughta try refining it for both instances.

I believe that is the case. After all, that Golem found us in the first place and was able to follow us after we ran away.
Then, if James concentrated hard enough, he'd probably notice Lucille's own Star fragment.

In other words, his... constellation-mate?
(What does one call stars that are part of the same constellation?)

That reminds me, there was a text message from home saying that James should show up for dinner...

They might get suspicious/worried if he disappeared for 2 nights in a row, considering the worst case result of a possible golem hunt (yet another injury and fainting). On the other hand, someone has to keep an eye on Lucille...

I've got an idea.
Modifying vote.

- [X] After training, ask Lucille if she'd like to have dinner at your place. It'd be getting late and as with the other day, it might be dangerous for Gifted to walk around alone. Your family is expecting you, what's one more plate on the table?
-- [X] You're just expressing thanks to Lucille's save the other day. It's not like it's the first time you had a friend over. There's Zane... and Madelyn, yeah. No big deal.
--- [X] Accompany Lucille back home or at least part of the way. Just in case she gets any ideas. Golem hunting will begin in earnest the next day.

"I understand that you're raring to go like a girl with a sledgehammer in a china shop full of moving pottery statues, but we should take a bit of time to know our limits. Just in case."

Always hit the tutorial mode at least once.
It's safe, you get to know your limits without risking yourself and you might find out something interesting about yourself.

This, I like this.

Not sure how the almighty QM is tallying, but I'll just mention here, in case it's by hand:

I formerly was voting for this:

I now am voting for this gloriousness:

[X] meganeshounen

An anime setting without your younger siblings poking fun at you for bringing a girl home? Blasphemy, says I!
